"The little black kind," Esca said, lifting up a hand and putting two fingers close to each other, closing one eyes. "Spicy spicy. Though, I guess you could put in the other kind too, if you chopped them up small."

My grampa's friend liked to put the big green peppers on the barbeque and then make salsa dip out of them. It...was yucky. He scrunched his nose again and glanced to the basket, making a happy little noise as he found himself holding a sandwhich. Can I eat this, Esca? he blushed faintly and smiled brightly, his ears perked up in a hopeful little fashion.

"It sounds interesting, and of course you can!" Esca smiled. "I always make alot extra, remember? It's so I have leftovers so that I don't have to make things for a few days or so after ward, but don't tell that to anyone. It's a secret." She pressed a finger against closed lips, laughing a little through them.

Atari whimpered softly in thought, and near vibrated as he tried to cap his curiosity, unable to do so well and flailing the sammich about. Why don't you make fresh food every day, Esca? Do you need help? My momma will cook for you!! He near about glomped onto the girl, continuing his little rant in his home language, not realizing that Escarelia couldn't understand him any.

"No, no, that's not it! Atari, I can't understand what you're saying!" Esca said, waving a hand in the air in attempt to calm him, worried she'd done something. "I'm just as lazy as other people when I can be!"

Blushing deeply, enough to be noticed over his lavender skintone, Atari let go of Esca and bit his lip, bringing the sammich to his mouth to hide his embarrassment behind it some. Don't be lazy, Esca...I don't want you to get sick if you eat something that isn't good anymore. He blushed deeper and devoured the sammich he held, blushing deeply still as he thought a moment, giggling and swallowing what was left in his mouth. One of my momma's boyfriends takes four days to make curry chicken! But it's really good.

"Don't worry, I don't eat things that are too old." Esca said, smiling. "But I thank you for your concern." She leaned foreward, planting a tiny kiss on his cheek, blushing as she leaned back to where she had been. "And really? Well, I suppose things do taste better the longer you cook them, because then it can absorb it's own flavor." She smiled again.

Atari smiled brightly as he wiggled closer to Esca to snuggle to her, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek before nibbling on his sammich again. I"m glad you don't eat expirated foods, Esca, he purred softly, letting his eyes fall closed as he finished the snack in large bites. He squeaked in excitement after a moment, bringing himself up on his knees just about strattling Esca. My big brother makes really big icecream sundaes with lots and lots of flavors, we should have him make one for us to share!! I like flavorful things!

Esca jumped slightly at his sudden movement and blinked, watching him. "Ice cream sundaes?" She blinked, looking off, slightly, and tilted her head. "Is it still warm enough for ice cream? Oh, what am I saying? It's always warm enough, isn't it?" She laughed a little, her sweet tooth getting the better of her. "That sounds good!"

Atari smiled brightly and moved to his feet, holding out his hand to help Escarelia up. It's never too cold for icecream - Icecream tastes better when it's cold outside. He nods matter-of-fact-ly, keeping the bright smile on his lips.

Esca blinked, then smiled and took his hand, standing. She brushed at her shirt, flattening out a few wrinkles that would have gotten lost in the folds anyway, and smiled. "That's true!" She took her hand back and began to pick up her things, ever the neat one.

Atari watched Esca pick up her things, and smiled brightly as he gently rest his hand on her arm. I can send those home for you if you want me to, Esca, he offered, smiling encouragingly to the girl as his tail wrapped around his leg, the only sign of his shyness.

"Are you sure?" Esca tilted her head as she finished folded the blanket. "I mean, I wouldn't want it to be a burden or something." She flushed slightly. She really didn't want to, and wasn't entirely sure how the magic all worked.

It's no burden, Esca, I promise! It's really easy, and I promise not to hurt any of your picnic supplies, he offered on a deep blush and shy smile.
