Owwin Kuzodav Because a bond as strong as the one people have/search requires so much maintainence and time that it's only possible to have it with one person. Not only that, but jealousy, selfishness, and other such things. I'd be happier with one girl i really cared for and could spend most of my spare time with, rather than, a bunch of girls i share a loose connection with seperating my time and trying to make it equal. and don't forget it's also naturally to like something/someone more than something/someone else. And maybe 1 person is worth the sacrafice of a polygamous because you care for them that much that you really don't need anyone else. I have strong bonds with all of my real (and hopefully some of my internet wink ) friends. Bonds that I would never care to compromise. Bonds that took a lot of time to build and more to maintain. I always thought romantic love was that, but with the added element of sexual drive. I could never put one person I love above all the rest just because the added element of sexual drive. I am obviously missing something here. Yeah, you are. It's not just sexual drive. There's just a degree of comfortableness. Like no matter WHAT you can turn to them it's a kind of counting on each other that has a unique companionship. Sparing myself searching for the right poetic words. It's spiritual. Not like ghosts. Just a strong bond thatasdlkjfa;sldhga can't think of words. 5 in the morning haven't slept. Anyway, it's not about the tits It's about what's behind her tits and yours.

auS-e-Dude Then lower your standards. Then before you know it, BAM, the one is starring right in front of you, crushing on you. NEVER LOWER YOUR STANDARDS! If you don't think you are good enough then they aren't! I kid.

auS-e-Dude Hashire Kazemeijin auS-e-Dude Hashire Kazemeijin Kuzodav Hashire Kazemeijin At least yu can say yu've had relationship experience. That's a luxury(?) some people like myself don't get to have. You know there's an 'o' in 'you', right? Yes, but as I've explained before, it's a personal taste and habit I've developed when I spell any version of "you" except for "your".
@Auron: I don't think there's too much more I can do. I'm apparantly just not a likable person IRL. From Preschool to High School graduation, I was the guy everyone loved to hate. I'm somehow just naturally repulsive. You'd think that, but there's someone. There's always someone. You just have to pull your finger out and start looking. I've heard (most) of that before and I'd love to believe it, but I honestly can't see it happening for me with my naturally skewed/abstract personality and tastes.
Then lower your standards. Then before you know it, BAM, the one is starring right in front of you, crushing on you. After 19 years of not even WALKING with a girl on purpose, standards aren't really something I can afford in the first place. Not much lower they could go.

But why can't you have that degree of comfortableness with everyone? I tell my hopes and fears and dreams and secrets to all of my friends. Why aren't we allowed to do that? If that is the case I am in love with a lot of people. Some of them are guys... You just ruined my day Kuzo

It's just like a bond with your friends ascended.

Well yes, but it's not something I openly broadcast IRL. The only person not online that knows this is Mizu since he's my best friend since grade school. And I'm not stupid enough to let my preference there make me pass up an opportunity.
