Uzaki smiled at her a bit, not wanting her to look sad, he set his hand on her cheek and looked into her eyes. "I promise I won't look at it until the day I die ok?" He ruffled her hair because it was so soft and already messed up.

Jeannette looked back up at him and smiled a bit.
"T-Thank you..." She grumbled and fixed her hair, why did everyone insist on touching it, then hugged him again. She wasn't sure how to feel, her nerves were so shot from Vene...

Uzaki tried to calm down his blush from her hugging him and fiddled with the book's bind. "Erm...J-Jeannette, do you want to perchance...go on a little picnic with me?" He was asking her out on a date.

Jeannette let go and smiled at him.
"Sure! It should be fun..." She wondered if she could truely recover though.... most likely, she was standing in front of her soul mate, he'd love her no matter what... right?

He smiled big, although it made his blush bring out his dark hazel eyes. "Awesome! Tomorrow for lunch I'll make a little spot for us by the orchard trees." He was about to walk away when he turned back and kissed her cheek quickly before shuffling down the hall into the guest room.

Jeannette blushed and flopped down on the couch, smiling a little. For once she was loved. She curled up, still smiling a bit.
Hyua walked through the demon country gates, biting her lip. Romano still hadn't woken up yet and she needed to talk to someone who understood. She spotted Kemono and ran up to him, hugging him.

Uzaki flopped onto his bed and squeeled lightly, happy for once but was still curious on the book. "I'll just read a bit..." He opened it and was reading when Kusa was destroyed. If it got too bad he'd stop reading.
Kemono almost fell over, the hawk was in his arms. "Ah!" He turned his head and saw Hyua, she looked so sad, he set the hawk on his head and hugged her back. "Hyua, you ok?"

Hyua tried not to cry, she was so worried about Romano and so stressed out. She was also pretty thin, being at the hospital constantly took up a lot of time and she often forgot to eat and other times she just couldn't.
"N-No! M-Me and Romano had things under control for a bit but then one day he came back pretty much half drunk mumbling something a bout a cute girl and since he cheated once I thought he was doing it again, pretty rational right? Well one day he came up the steps and really didn't want to see him and my first instict was to push and he ended up getting really hurt!" She took a deep breath, having said that all in one big rush.

Kemono's jaw dropped and he hugged her tight to comfort her. "It's ok hyua, I bet he'll be ok right? He isn't hurt to bad is he?" he held her close and stroked her hair, humming a lullaby.

Hyua burried her face in to his shirt.
"H-He won't wake up, A-and that's kind of good concitering it's painful getting your nerves reconnected.... b-but I feel so bad! V-Vene says I jumped to the point, not listening..... b-but it's so hard to trust Romano again.... Vene doesn't get it!" She didn't know if Kemono would get her point too, but she was hoping. Romano had lied to her over and over for a long time... it's was hard telling his truths from his lies anymore. She didn't want to let Kemono know she was blind again, seeing the world in pure outline was hard on her since she had been seeing for over 16 years. She had sprained her ankle and she had a few scratches, the only way she knew Kemono apart from anyone is because she knew his chakura like a second language.

Kemono stroked her hair, he understood her more than even Romano could. "It's ok hyua, he'll wake up soon just give him some time, maybe you should just leave him before he hurts you too much and you get way to mad." he noted to her and hugged her tight. "I understand hyua..."

Hyua shook her head, she didn't know what to do. She couldn't leave Romano: she loved him still, she couldn't ever possibly leave him after he almost killed himself, and part of her hoped that this would all work out. She wished things could be simple again: Her and Romano, Vene and Tressa... things had been so simple a few months ago.
"I dont know what to do anymore Kemono-kun..."

Kemono looked at her and nodded. "Just stay by his side utility he is better, he use to be a drinker right? Help him because going cold turkey is hard on the body...don't let him fall off the wagon anymore and just try your best..." he smiled at her to reassure her.

Hyua let go and nodded but then flopped down on to her butt, tired. She ran her hand through her hair and bit her lip, she was staring at the ground, still trying to hide the fact that she had gone blind again.
"I-I know..." She couldn't see much looking at the ground, all the outlines sort of blurred together.

Kemono sat infront of her and moved her bangs away, he knew she was blind again when she didn't look at his face the entire time. "Don't be afraid hyua..."
