Mist of Chaos
I've never read Stephen King, and really have no desire to do so. I can't deal with the amount of crappy movies that have resulted from his books.
I lost three hours of my life watching The Langoliers.

I hope you can get her to talk to you, she'll come around eventually. Good luck!

Time to talk to Jester now, Bye bye! whee

he wrote a pretty good fantasy novel called eyes of the dragon

i like it

its about this king and these two princes and this bad wizard guy

one prince is good the other is...well not bad but.... i dunno
the wizard kills the king and has the good prince throw in prison and puts the bad prince on the throne but yeah

a bunch of stuff happens O_o

Most fantasy novels are cliche.
The ones I have read at least, but of course there are elements to them that make them different.

Most do...but there are some that fall into a different track...similar to each other..but not the regular fantasy.

These are the detailed authors...the ones that actually try to make things work. Instead of just saying that this guy can move a mountain...without actually explaining why.

Terry Brooks, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan. All good fantasy authors 3nodding

Though...their series often have very long books...500-800+ pages whee
