DaxMaurier Its not to bad now. Saturday night I lost the abality to eat.. the pain was just to major. Then sunday morning I couldnit drink either... a simple glass of water was brining me to the point of tears welling in my eyes. And come on, I had laughing fits while gettin the palms of my hands tattoo'd. But now, i already went through 1 IV treatment, three bags of s**t were pumped into my system, and I have already regained the abality to eat and drink... there is still some pain and discomfort, but not enough to stop me this time smile

Update
Well after 4 treatments of antibiotics pushed into my system via IV tubes, I seem to be on the mend.
The swelling in my throat has gone down by quite abit to say the least, and I am now able to eat, drink and speak without to much discomfort at all. As it stands now, I no longer have to go up to the ER to get the medication every 8 hours. Starting tomorrow I will be gettin the meds in pill form, which means I actually get to sit home and relax, without worrying about going up to the ER for my meds. Ahmen to that.
Ao what all happened. i'm not really sure at all. From the information a gathered and researched, here is what I can tell you.
The condition itself is called peritonsillar abcess/ Basically, bacteria form in and around your tonsill. When conditions are'right' this bacteria will from an abcess in the deep tissue around your tonsill (not really known why it happens_. As that abcess devlops, the throat will become irritated, swollen and full of pain.
All in all, the sitaution sucked balls, lol. Glad its pretty much over with now.

DUDE I hope you get better soon......That sounds like it must be really uncomforatable for you.....
