I hated all that talk of banning HP books from school's and stuff. If the book gets a kid to read it can't be all that bad.

And all the talk about books affecting a kids mind!!
Bullcrap...if a kid thinks that from reading a kids book that he can cast spells...then he's an idiot...and it's his own fault XD.

rolleyes That whole "devil worship" argument doesn't make sense when you think about it logically. People are just dumb and follow anything people say.

It's people that haven't read the books. Because they are ignorant in the fact that these books have nothing to do with religion.

This is true. My parents for one. They in fact bought me the first one..thinking I might be interested. It sat there for a year or so...I picked it up and started reading to find it suprisingly good. Eventually my parents were like "Maybe you shouldn't read this." or "you understand that none of this is real" .
eek Why the ******** would I think a...dementor...or a phoenix could exist?!
I of course told them that I would never be as stupid as that...but you know xp
Stupid.

My mum reads them, I used to hear her giggling when she was reading them xd

XD There were occasional good parts..but hardly funny usually.
Bill Bryson..."A walk in the woods"
That's pretty funny I think XD
A comedy author writes a book on his trek across the Appalachian trail.
Or...part of it XD.

I've only read one Bill Bryson book. I thought it was so hilarious. It was all about silly stuff in America. I laughed so much, I always feel retarded when I'm laughing at something in a book.

Bryson does it well.
And don't talk about retarded things with books...when I was about...say...9 years old..young and stupid...I was reading a book and a "scary" part came up...I of course...being young and stupid...ran away...with the book still in my hand XD.
I've read it recently...not a twitch...I don't know how it scared me >_>

That's great. Do you remember those goosebump books? I used to not be able to sleep, I had insomnia or something when I was little. I would read like the whole of one of those books overnight. They weren't scary.

I had a temporary obsession over them for a while XD.
If you want scary...read stephen king...and one other book I once read...I can't remember the name though...
Oh god...I hate being ignored...I'm trying to talk to the girl I got mad at...but of course...no response...XP I am so stupid. xd

I've never read Stephen King, and really have no desire to do so. I can't deal with the amount of crappy movies that have resulted from his books. I lost three hours of my life watching The Langoliers.
I hope you can get her to talk to you, she'll come around eventually. Good luck!
Time to talk to Jester now, Bye bye! whee
