Jericho kissed him on the cheek, and then, after taking a gulp of air, descending into the deep water of the lake, several air bubbles finding their way to the surface in her wake. She looked up at him through the water, her eyes just as clear as they would be above water. Jericho could not decide where her feelings were. Were they invested in Elke? Convinced that she could win her over in the end? Or were they residing in Alucard? She ran a hand through her hair, and then swam towards the bottom of the lake, wondering if Alucard would follow her, and if he could hold his breath as long as she.

*Elle placed her hand on her flat belly as she walked around. She took a look at Alucard one last time and left the park.*

Alucard watched her go under, he went under after her proppeling himself through the water by creating ice blocks and leaping form block to block until he reached her, once he got to her he kissed her on the cheek and smiled, not realizing he had run out of breath, he started to gasp for air.

Jericho watched him for several seconds, her hair rolling in the slight current of the water. He started to betray his lungs' need for air, so she wrapped her arms around him, and pulled him to the surface, swimming quickly.

Alucard stayed consious and did not struggle as she pulled him.

Jericho looked at him, thouroughly concerned. "Don't try and kill yourself, Alucard.." She said playfully, "You scared me there for a minute." She brushed his hair from his eyes, still smiling. The demon watched him for a few moments before her eyes went blank, and images invaded her mind. It was Elke, and a man, sitting in the middle of a wrecked apartment.. A gun lay on the floor next to the man.. Elke had tears flowing from her eyes.. Jericho's eyes fluttered and closed, as she watched the events from several minutes ago flood her mind. At the end of the procession, her eyes snapped open, glowing maliciously.

Jericho's mind was suffering from the effects of the thoughts, her eye gave an involuntary twitch, and her eyes came back into focus, still burning with fury. "Yes." She said shortly, eyeing the shore. "She.. is with someone.." The demon looked away from Alucard, wanting nothing more than to have someone to hold onto. Some way to get the feelings from her mind. She didn't want to care for Elke anymore, it had gotten her nowhere. A tear fell slowly from her dim-glowing green eyes, cutting a clearly lighter trail through the dark black makeup under her eye.

He looked at her, he pulled his arms up and hugged her "I'm sorry..." he said holding her gently.

Jericho burried her head in his shoulder, and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I just.. I don't.. understand." She said, her accented voice quiet and leaded down with misery. "What did I do wrong?" The demon leaned against Alucard, glad that he was there with her.

"Hey." he said as he was gently picking up her head and looking her in the eyes "It's her thats missing out, you did'nt do anything wrong, she just was'nt into you, it's not your fault." he said holding her.

*Elle entered the park looking around. She saw Alucard with his back facing her. She smiled*

*When Elle spoke, she realized he was holding close the woman. She stayed there standing*

Jericho nodded, still looking into his eyes with hers. "I just.. You know? I thought it was all going to work out in the end.." She let her sentence run on, not bothering to finish it. A shiver ran down her spine that had nothing to do with Elke, and she looked at Alucard questioningly. Was this what she really wanted? Did she want to be with Alucard, or keep the friend-distance? Her befuddled thoughts layered her mind like mud. A voice called Alucard from somewhere near them. She looked up to see a woman standing there, looking pained and hurt. Jericho released Alucard, looking wary. Who was she? Why was she looking at Alucard like that? Jericho looked from the woman to Alucard, and then swam to the shore, where she picked up her abandoned shirt.

Brian climbed up in the tree and layed down on a branch. Luckily for him he was shaded from the moon.
