Kal-L Jason Macendale i thought kal-l was spelt with an el why is it l and not el in those other places?

Because in Red Son, "Krypton" is simply earth several millenia from now, and Kal is sent back in time to prevent the destruction of the planet instead of to a different galaxy. sweatdrop
