*looks around at the ragtag team of S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel*

So, I have to ask. With all the tension and drama and conflict you people have, how do you even have time to interfere in the business of other countries who don't want your involvement?

I mean, colour me 'not an American citizen,' but diz-AMN you betches be crazy.

I can't accept it because I cannot in good conscience be under your jurisdiction in any manner. That includes SHIELD and SWORD. I already belong to a team.

SHIELD works under the United Nations, we are not affiliated directly with the US government.

Oh, you've got that all wrong. That's clearance and access as a visitor. I want to open my doors to you as a neighbour and outside observer. Not recruit you.

And since the UN decides for countries, rather than represent said country's best interests and right to their own jurisdiction, thereby depriving the citizens of said country the chance to voice their desire to just be left the hell alone, I'm one of those who believes very little in the authority of either the UN or S.H.I.E.L.D.

Which still doesn't answer the question as to why you don't give a Xanax prescription to every agent with their gym membership and unfortunate fabric.

::ring beeps::

Ah.

Some of my research may have born fruit.

You know...Go-Go has been both an agent of good AND evil. If you're looking for infiltration, you may want to consider giving him some tenure.

Not only that she graduated from Camp Hammond and it was intentionally harder than Special Forces Training.

Ha...SHIELD doesn't work for America but they are somehow enforcing America's laws like the SHRA. Riiiiiiiiiiight.

We're like vampires, Go-Go. We can't enter a country unless we're invited. The CSA gave SHIELD jurisdiction over enforcing the SHRA, and so we do. We could not intervene in the mutant genocide at Genosha because the local government wouldn't allow us in.

Bravo Tony. You should teach classes on how to handle alternate universe superheroes and how to irritate them.
