Editing something that is poorly written is not fun.

I'm editing a short story for a friend of mine -- his boss wrote it, and outside of the a ton of grammatical errors the man made, his narrative style is choppy and boring. FOUR pages of the most monotonous character introductions.

I'm getting paid a small sum, though. So it's a good way to get a little pocket money. sweatdrop Still, one thing every aspiring writer should know: the spellcheck on Word doesn't catch every mistake.
