Yep it was interesting, it may be the first console i think about buying, but with it being Nintendo waiting at least 6 months or even a year to see how it pans would be good considering how things normally work for them.

Looking over it seems to be really nice work and really well though out, with nice combos that are possible when put together, it is pretty neat how jutsu/item abilities have been moved to perks and making it more important to plan your character with that in mind, and makes perk much more important earlier, it also gives a much more interesting way of adding to the system as things go on.

Questions
Clans
So what do clanless get if anything?

Why do clans have different levels, shouldn't they start at 0 or 1(for innate abilities), and then go to say 10 and that the different points and directions within that limited level, show the differences between members?

I do see it is so the people in the clan can get all the abilities of the clan, but isn't it more interesting having to make sacrifices while leveling, it would also balance between clans be much more reliable if all clan members had a limit of 10 clan perks.

Perks
So do the Buff series of the perks count as a new jutsu mod you can use when making jutsu, or are the perks that increase the characters basic ability to make those checks? from the wording I would say a replacement for the Buff mod for jutsu, shouldn't perks like that have a note on them like 'Used in creation of jutsu/items, see Jutsu / Item Creation for more details', maybe even the other perks like that.

Why do the 'Focused Training' only buff using but not reacting, while you are hindered to both(using and reacting) the other styles of jutsu?

Affinity
Are the 2 missing dual elemental(Lightning and Fire & Lightning and Wind) fusion abilities going to be added or not?

Those are the ones that jump out while reading.

It's an interesting concept, but I really don't see the clans having anywhere near enough content for that as it is. I can't speak for anyone else, but the clans I worked on were made to carry a theme and combination of perks/skills. Splitting it up and forcing half of it away wouldn't be beneficial at all.

Clans

No Clan will be getting explained shortly.

Certain Clans have more content then others, but ultimately they're designed to work off of each other. While you have a great point about the balance aspect we will be going with this direction for clans.

Perks

Each Perk has a Type (Effect, Ability or Innate). Perks that are Effect Type unlock new options for Jutsu/Item Creation. Ability Type are Perks that grant you new Actions for your Attack or Defense Phases. Innate Type empower your character with increased stats that exceed normal limitations placed by the system.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention, I'll edit that shortly.

Affinity
They may in the future. As of this moment they have not been revealed in the manga/show and as such I have nothing to work off of. When we have cleared out more of our work load we may come back to add them in.

The Akimichi are really interesting from what I have read so that is neat, as are the Inuzuka which if fully level seem down right broken and it now make much more sense why the level cap idea i had would be horrible for such a clan

I see that, I mean the Hyuuga for example only have 8 perk/jutsu to take so a 10 level system would be horrible in their case, because it wastes two levels, which seems weird seeing as they are a major clan for the manga and anime, but they also have the own crit table which is neat, but then again looking at it I would guess it is a case of people working on other areas to get them in better shape. But also with the Akimichi and Inuzuka it would hamper them so much long term

Awesome that should cool to see, I hope it has the if you have no clan you cannot use dual clan to get it and another clan, so it isn't as abusable.

Yes the fact that the clans abilities work well with one another and that is pretty awesome for SYNERGY, but that doesn't stop the fact that limiting them won't be more interesting, also it would bring out the question in the players, do i get everything but not master any to have awesome combos/SYNERGY with my clan abilities, or master one and get a little of another to have a really good part I have but weakened combo/SYNERGY within my clans abilities.

But it is kinda sad to see all the awesome things you could get but can't so I see why it isn't how I said. Just going to add more work long term for the mods though because it is clear some clans are more powerful then others. Even it is just then can get one more level then another. Or in some clans case where you get an extra 10 levels then others.

That was my bad I have read the top so often I didn't read it again, still adding a small note to look at the creation section would be a nice way to also direct the flow so that when you read its effect you then go to the next section and read how to make the jutsu/item in question.

Neat to know, I kinda guessed why but it is best to ask.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm not really a huge Valentine's fan but my anniversary with my husband is the day prior to Valentine's day, lmao.
That makes it kind of a mandatory not able to forget holiday, hallmark or not.
