Felina paused putting two and two together "Oh I can sort that out Hebal. Just let me know which cake you want extra and I will make sure it gets delivered alonng with the supplies dad is giving us for tomorrow. So we need to go back to the dining table anyway to see him. Though yes the fireworks were lovely and we got Oassu to pet Bahamut. He took it surprisingly well"she laughed ushering them back towards the table. "And please Jeckhart, just call me Felina. Where we are going next I don't want anyone letting slip that I am a royal"

Jeckhart nodded meekly in agreement "As you wish Princ-Felina, though I take it you are planning to go to the Desert then?" he said looking at Hebal spin "Well seems you'll have more cake to take back than you thought Hebal" he said happily.
Zadina smiled offering Amane his arm for them to walk back to the ballroom "I don't know, guess I'm faster than I expected, all my adventuring must be making me stronger I suppose" he said proudly pausing to straighten his crown which had become askew in the chase "Still you are right Amane, lets return and see what your mother and the others thought of the fireworks.
Oassu laughed "Don't feel bad about it Mu, I do have some experience in being quiet and stealthy after all" he said before nodding in agreement "That's right which is why we're getting it done now though I didn't know this place had an observatory, didn't think either of them were particularly fond of the stars" he said surprised but shrugged as he gestured for them to follow him to the others.

Hebal cheered placing her arm around Felina as a hug "Thank you Felina, now I can make sure everyone home gets lots of cakes to try. I would also like pieces of that one and that one and I guess I should also take someofthe herb cake too"she added reluctantly pointing to the final one. "A cake with healthy things inside still baffles me"
Amane laughed "Oh mum would have probably loved it. She loves both dragons and anything with pretty colours. Though I am sure your adventures have given you a lot of experience and means you have tried all the nice exotic foods also. Though have you been near many temples?" she wondered reentering the ballroom.
Mu laughed "Oh I don't doubt it. They may have just wanted somewhere private to play or see the fireworks and where better than somewhere thatis going to be placed really high up with a good view of the sky right? I am sure they are smart enough kids to have worked that out"
Alpha nodded "Yeah I guess thats probably half the reason. Plus I think Zadina wants to show off a little to his new friend. Anyway lets get on with it and sort the things out and leave him to be a kid a while longer before being sent to bed"

Felina simply smiled having to hold back a snort of laughter "It actually tastes quite nice if you decide to give it a chance" she answered bbefore stopping a servent on his way past to issue a new set of orders in elvish. "There you go, the cake will be sorted out for you. We will indeed be going to the desert which means when you wake up tomorrow Im going to have to give some of you injections because of the plague. It won't hurt and viera don't need them so you're lucky Hebal though you will need one Jeckhart I am sorry to say"

Jeckhart bit his lip a little nervous about the journey ahead "Are you sure it's wise to go yourself, the Desert Elves aren't known for being friends of High Elves" he said following Hebal's gaze to the herb cake "Though it was quite nice Hebal if a peculiar flavour, but what's this plague business? And I'm not especially fond of injections..." he mumbled quietly.
Zadina looked around for a moment trying to spot the others and pointing to Hebal, Jeckhart and Felina when he spotted them "Well not quite, I'm sure we probably passed some Temples, and I vaguely remember hearing of Titan's one in the Dwarf Kingdoms we were in but I wasn't on the lookout for them so I didn't go and see any or take much note of them I'm afraid. Don't they teach you that stuff at the temple to prepare you for the trip?" he asked releasing Amane to descend the steps again saying goodbye to some people in Elvish as they bowed to him leaving the party.
Oassu nodded "He probably has had a fair bit of fun, but where is it you are all staying tonight? At the palace or is it too full up with all the guests visiting from all over tonight?" he asked heading back towards the front "Kinda wish I'd had the sense to scout out the high points for the best view, though my spot was ok. Did you like the show at all?" he asked.

Hebal groaned not entirely convinced "Well ok if you say so. But theres this bbig plague goinng on in the desert and has been for quite some time now. though I am glad I dont need an injection cause I hate needles. Though donn't worry, Felina is a fantastic white mage who I would trust with my life for dealing with stuff like that. I'm sure she will make things as comfortable as possible" she assured Jeckhart with a shoulder pat.
Amane paused copying Zadina's bowing "Well they teach me some thing but theres a lot of meditation and praying and studying things though not much about adventuring other than how to read a map and ration food. Weird dwarves would have a temple though having no magic skills. Though I guess you could say the same for gria" she answered swerving towards Felina.
Mu shrugged "The dragon was interesting and the fireworks flashy but nothing much that I havent seen before. People shape fireworks like that all the time where I work. Was decent enough entertainment though"
Alpha nodded "Yeah fireworks arent the best way to impress a fire demon but they were pleasant enough. Originally we were going to be staying at Zadina's for the night but given the circumstances of now needing to leave, our things have been sent over to the palace so we can stop here a few hours" he explained to Oassu.

Felina nodded "I know that the plague is not ideal or the desert elves but right now its the only lead we have and its somewhere we would have to go to at some point anyway. Plus the plague is going nowhere fast. Though Hebal is right. I am fully trained in doing injections properly though you won't be getting it until tomorrow. I have had a little too much to drink to do it tonight so please do not worry and enjoy yourself" she replied turning around seeing some of the others out the corner of her eye. "Hey there kids. Did you enjoy the show upin the observatory?"

Jeckhart nodded meekly at Hebal "I'm sure she's trained fine with needles and stuff.." he mumbled quietly looking over at the children as they arrived "Well hello there Zadina and Amane, I hope you both had a good time" he said relieved for a change of subject.
Zadina giggled "You know, you don't have to bow Amane, noble women are expected to curtsey more than bow but you are getting a better hang of our customs." he praised Amane as they approached Felina "Hello cousin, yes the show was pretty fantastic, it's been a long time since I've been up there." he said nodding but yawning halfway through "Oh I apologise, it's just rather late" he said shaking his head "How did you know we were up in the observatory?" he asked surprised.
Oassu tilted his head in thought "Yeah guess it makes sense fire demons wouldn't be interested in it but thats a bit of a shame, sounds like it would be interesting to see what Zadina's place is like" he said pondering. "Bahumut was probably a new sight for you" he said.

Amane groaned feelinng a little silly for copying Zadina "Well I guess we talked about it often enough for people to know where we were going. But hiya mum. I thought the event was spectacilar and hope you enjoyed it too. I wish our forest did anything even slightly similar to what the elves here do even if not as big" she complained.
Hebal smiled patting Amane's ears "Well you are going to be the summoner so its gonna be your job if you want similar celebrations back in the forest hehe. I thought the fireworks were rewally cool though despite the noise" she replied covering Zadina's mouth for him. "Good thing your tired because we are regrouping so you guys can say goodbye to the king and Alpha can make a couple of arrangements. After that you can go to bed for a couple of hours before we fly away again" she explained.
Mu shrugged "I liked the Bahamut part he's not a completely new thing to me. I've actually been to his temple before a couple of times when on the road so happened to catch a glimpse of a very happy summoner showing off their achievement from gaining the right" she explained.
Alpha scratched his head joining the back of Felina's group "Nah my firsttime seeing Bahamut. Wouldn't want to try taking him on in a fight. The Loweena manor though is surprisngly big in size. It's got a huge garden as well and despite nobody living in it, the servants have kept it looking in great condition"

Felina laughed deciding to push Jeckhart on further preparations until tomorrow "Well for starters, you talk so loud half the palace knew already. Secondly Bahamut flew past you and we saw it. The tower is so tall you would only have to look up from the royal balcony to spot you two up there" she replied. "And speak of the devil thats everyone, Alpha I need you to speak with my dad but is there anything else that can be done for others while here? Hope you enjoyed some of the show and that you got a good view" she asked once the group was fully reunited.

Oassu nodded moving beside Felina "Yeah we just need to discuss a little bit of organising tomorrow for when everyone is heading," he said giving the room another glance "Can't see Hayate about but I figure he'll be clued in at some point" he said shrugging as he wrapped his arms around Felina.
Zadina giggled joining Hebal in patting Amane's ears and blushing slightly when Hebal covered his mouth "Oh sorry Miss Hebal, we're just quite tired, little Merric has been completely conked out for the whole fireworks show" he said pulling back his cloak slightly to reveal the dozing ball of feathers underneath.
Jeckhart looked at Hebal "Yes the festival was very impressive, I'm not used to such spectacular displays so I shan't soon forget it" he said smiling slightly glancing up at the band "Is the Queen ok? I saw her leaving early" he asked looking over at the empty throne.

Amane also yawned sitting at an unoccupied seat "Mmm I might just sit here a moment since its so tiring and I think I am close enough to hear what you grown ups will be saying from here. Merric isn't the only one who is really tired" she yawned again wiggling her ears.
Alpha raised his brow "Well suit yourself Amane. It's mostly just going to be a very brief chat then some goodbyes and we're off though so will be five minutes. As for Hayate, he already knows whats going on and so went to spend some time with Adohand before we leave" he informed Oassu.
Hebal looked across not having noticed the throne empty "Oh well... I would guess she is just tired. Take it from someone who has had 2 kids, you get tired really fast and even the slightest bit of stress can be tiring and I'll bet a party like this is exactly like that" she guessed in answer to Jeckhart's question.

Felina nodded "You are right Hebal, she looked exhausted throughout the firework display. Though she did tell me to tell you to take care Zadina and to keep your little chocobo safe so it can will be nice and big when she next sees him" she relayed the message before waving back at her father who had got up out of his throne.
"Ahh there you all are. I won't keep you long seeing as some of you cearly could do with a good rest. Hopefully you are tired from the excitement that came with the show. All I specifically need to know is which bay your airship is currently docked at and a rough idea of the size of your cargo hold. By the way, feel free to take any food home with you if you wish. We are going to have some leftovers easily"

Oassu nodded "I can see Hebal's already taking you up on that offer Elorin" he said noting the plate of cake she was waving around. "Still, you children should run off to bed since you both look so tired" he said to the kids.
Jeckhart bowed politely to the King as he came to see them. "It's a pleasure to see you again your majesty, the show was quite spectacular I assure you" he said timidly as he glanced at the children "Perhaps it's best if we all retire as well and put the children to bed and leave Alpha and the King to discuss the logistics of loading the ship" he suggested to Hebal "I'm not entirely sure where we are to stay however, there was arrangements made for us to stay at Zadina's estate" he said puzzled.
Zadina giggled wiggling his ears as well in response to Amane's "Well there will be carriages outside if we still want to retire to my estate, I'm sure there will be other people making late rides home" he said swaying slightly from drowsiness before straightening up to appear more lordly "Still if you'd like to stay here, perhaps that can be arranged as well and I'll see that your belongings are sent ahead to the airship or here if you like" he offered looking up at Elorin for help.

Hebal yawned and nodded her head "Yeah I think it would be a good idea if we could take the kids to bed at the very least and besides, you don't need all of us in on the planning right?" she agreed stroking her daughter's ear. "Have out belongings been moved already your highness?" she asked trying not to giggle at Amane briefly drifting off.
Alpha nodded "Yeah sure you guys can go ahead though I want to see you guys up and ready by the palace entrance in four hours time. We have to move and you can sleep more at the airship so try not to complain too much. If we're not staying at the palace then I'll make my way over to your place somehow Zadina" he answered beofre turning to the king. "Well our cargo hold is medium size for our airship. We had to convert some of it to rooms so its not as large as it used to be. As for the bay the airship is docked at... I don't know its the one that is closest to the forest. Would probably be better if I write out a description for you Your Highness."
