Oassu nodded releasing Felina "Maybe so, but I won't have lazy kids, best learn some kind of trade rather than just sitting fat and pretty, Jenna would never let me here the end of it if I just retired on someone else's money" he sighed pushing himself out of his chair.
Jeckhart nodded "That's a kind thought of you and a big party sounds like exactly the kind of thing you'd like to write to someone about no?" he said "Besides tomorrow I imagine will mostly be flying around collecting the rest of your friends so there won't be much else to do on the airship sadly" he said resisting the temptation to have another slice of cake.
Zadina nodded coming away from the control panel and taking another look "It might be, we'd be going so fast we could see all the constellations then. Real shame we aren't allowed an airship on the pilgrimage" he said satisfied with the stars as he went back to the control panel. "Now hold on Amane, this thing might be a little rickety" he said as he punched a few buttons as the platform turned to realign itself to the default position and the knobs on the telescope retracted themselves once more.

Hebal paused "well sure parties are always good to tell your friends about but.. arenn't your reports all supposed to be work related. Like the clan probably wouldn't be too interested inn your social engagements provided they are all nice and clean right?" she guessed. "And you may as well get another slice" she added seeing Jeckhart looking indecisive.
Amane sighed getting up out the seat for a stretch the moment everything was back as it should be. "But without the airship we can be more in touch with nature. You can embrace your elven heritage and learn the skills your wandering elven tribes use to get by. Nature is lovely too" she encouraged giving her eyes a rub.

Felina paused a little surprised "Would have thought Jenna would have been all for living the easy life of luxury. Though its respectable that she doesn't think that even if I don't think much of the career path. She probably wouldn't think much of my family. Anyway hopefully at least one kid would take an interest in white magic. Theres a lot of money to be made out of being a good healer inn the world" she replied guiding him by the hand to the exit.

Oassu nodded letting Felina pull him along "Jenna likes her luxury for sure, but she feels a need to earn it, funny how..." Oassu glanced around before pulling Felina closer for a cuddle "thieves can have such a good work ethic" he whispered while they cuddled "I'm sure white magic is profitable too if any of the kids have a talent for it, isn't it something most people are born with?" he asked.
Jeckhart paused giving it thought for a moment "Well....you have a point..." he said thinking it through for a moment "Though technically I'm here to monitor and protect you but I suppose I don't need to tell anyone if you don't want to" he admitted shaking his head "I'll be good without another slice of cake thanks though" he said watching a particularly large elf take a big slice of cake.
Zadina smiled giving Amane a hug seeing her rub her eyes "You look tired, we should hurry up but I hope you had a goodnight tonight" he said moving back to the control panel and pushing buttons as the telescope platform lowered itself back into the tower and the dome closed over the top again "I think we'll sleep well tonight but I hope you'll remember tonight and it was good fun for you, I've certainly not had this much fun in a long time." he said adjusting his little crown before beckoning Amane over to the door to leave.

Hebal shrugged watching for a moment Corella who was just on her way back into the party. "Oassu and Felina will be back soon I think. Though why not just tell them that its been a nice festival and lots of cake and dancing. "Though I don't need monitoring all the time you know. Donn't you feeling the need to do that spoil you from having future fun" she assured him.
Amane yawned returning the hug "I have had a simply amazing few days with you. While there is fun to be had at home, there is so much stuff out here that you don't get in my forest. I think for a good while I'm goig to miss these days. Though all good things have to come to an end eventually" she sadly sighed lettig go of him to go back to the party.

Felina shook her head "Not everyone is born with an affinity with magic. Otherwise we would have a lot more dwarf summoners out there hehe. For those who do though theres all sorts of paths you can go on like black, white, time mage etc. But even then people withmagic potential dont always want to do jobs relating to magic and choose to say become a knight instead of dedicating yourself fully to lets say white magic. This leaves us with Paladins like Elithana and red mages like Hayate" she explained descending the stairs back into the ballroom. "Anyway helpme find the others before my father arrives so wecan wind down" she said having already spotted Hebals ears.

Oassu laughed at the idea "That's a funny sight a dwarf trying to dance like your father did there but sure, I'll be sure to train the ones who don't want to do magic into something fierce anyway" he said proudly "Still I think I can see Alpha across the hall as well as Mu" he added pointing at the family.
Jeckhart shook his head "It's no trouble Hebal, in fact I'd say you are one of the most fun and pleasant people on your airship so I really appreciate the company you've given me tonight" he said blushing slightly "So I confess it's not purely out of duty I keep an eye on you but I will take your advice and tell them how nice the party was, they are probably hoping I'll be happier anyway" he added.
Zadina nodded opening the door "Well so long as you remember it'll be a fond memory, besides once we go on a pilgrimage you'll have lots of other wonderful experiences outside your forest I'm sure" he said taking a last glance to ensure the room was as they left it before beginning the long descent back down towards the ballroom once more.

Hebal smiled patting Jeckhart on the shoulder "Well I am glad that you have had a fun time at teh party. You've had a rough time and deserve a little bit of fun and happiness that isn't work related. Though the rest of the group can be really fun too if you get to know them and their little tricks. Half of them you've not even spoken to all that much yet so give it time and you can have more than me and Zadina for friends" she assured him happily dancing around him while keeping her plate of cake balenced.
Amane nodded gathering the energy to skip off after Zadina "Yes but thats goinng to be at least annother twenty years before I get to leave the forest for my pilgrimage which may not seem like long for you but feels like forever for me. Though lets not get all sad. How about I race you to the bottom of the steps with no magic hehe"

Felina snickered "Hey I am sure dwarves can be graceful just not in that way but sounds like we have a fair deal" she agreed following Oassu's gaze. "Typical, they would be at the opposite sides of the room. How about we split up and get a group each and move them to my dads chair at the throne? And would you rather fetch Alpha and Mu or Hebal and Jeckhart. See I'm so nice you get first pick" she decided spotting her dad re-entering the room from the main enterance. "Dad must have got some guards to take mum the rest of the way to get back so fast"

Oassu nodded looking up at Elorin "Sure, I hope the Queen is alright, must've been tired what with the baby and all but your Dad still has a lot of things to do tonight I imagine" he said releasing Felina and petting Cid "I'll go give Alpha a quick nudge then and meet you there" he said waving to Felina before moving off into the crowd.
Jeckhart nodded "Perhaps that'll work though some of them make me uncomfortable I'll admit, some of them don't know I'm here yet too, I hope they don't mind too much that I'm tagging along for a little while, the Captain said I should have some more relaxing duties while I was...powered down" he mumbled watching Hebal dance around him.
Zadina gasped surprised as Amane rushed past him "Hey now! Be careful Amane, these steps can be dangerous" he said picking up the pace to follow Amane but struggling in his cloak "Be careful you don't trip over your dress too!" he said hopping some of the stairs in an attempt to catch up with Amane.

Amane laughed happily skipping down step by step "Oh don't worry I am being super careful. I already lifted up the bottom of my dress see" she assured him skipping suddenly over an extra two steps. "Besides you have the advantage of being able to take the inside lane hehe I can't walk very well in these spirally staircases where the steps are all narrow. Would unblence the heels" she exlained slowing down to give Zadina a chance to catch up.
Hebal giggled shuffling closer "Oh yeah I can imagine. Mr Alpha makes me feel uncomfortable all the time. And while very nice Sephy and Itaka can be an intimidating bunch and Hayate can come across as a grump. They can make good company if you persist though. I think you would get along pretty easily with Felina, Mari and Mr. Gilgamesh though" she advised.
Elsewhere across the room Alpha and Mu were huddled up across the room and with Alpha keeping a close watch of where all the nearby guests were looking, Mu swiftly began filling Alpha's pocket with some of the little wrapped sweets that had been left for guests at the end of the dining table.

"Oh I am sue my parents will survive" Felina managed to tell Oassu before letting go of him to weave into the crowd. She smiled catching the end of the conversation between Hebal and Jeckhart before giving them both a tap on the shoulder. "Hey you two, we're trying to get everyone together so we can wind down and rest a few hours before heading out. Though maybe over the next couple of days we could get to know eachother better" she added cheerfully.

Oassu chuckled patting Mu on the shoulder "You know those are probably free anyway, I doubt all the secrecy is necessary" he said unwrapping one of the sweets for himself "Didn't think you had that much of a sweet tooth anyway Alpha, still we're meeting up to discuss plans for tomorrow, so some of us can go to bed, you haven't seen the little ones anywhere have you?" he asked.
Jeckhart jumped slightly surprised as Felina popped up behind him "Oh your highness" he said bowing low as Felina surprised him "Yes, it would be a pleasure to get to know you better over the coming days I'm sure" he said watching as Hebal wiggled about with her slices of cake "You know we can probably ask some of the kitchen staff to wrap those up for you to keep them fresher and easier to transport Hebal" he said
Zadina giggled hopping ahead of Amane and putting on a spurt of speed seeing Amane slowing down as he sped ahead to the bottom of the stairs where the guards gave him a curious look panting he waited for Amane to arrive "Well...I suppose those heels do make it a bit of an unfair race" he said brushing himself down "Though that was fun...we should race again on a flatter surface sometime" he said slightly breathlessly.

Hebal smiled and spun around "Hey Felina. Did you like the fireworks. I bet you got the best views and didn't Bahamut stop by your balcony too? that must have been super cool. Though you know I never even thought to ask for a bag to have it wrapped up. Would that come across as too rude and out of place?" she wondered admiring the cake "If they did that I would bring home some more"
Amane nodded secretly scolding herself for being nice enough to slow down for Zadina "Well done and sure we can race again anytime though not straight away cause we're tired and will have people looking for us if we don't get back soon. Though where did that sudden burst of speed come from?" she asked waiting for him to take the lead.
Mu jumped in surprised then gave Alpha a sharp nudge "You were supposed to let me know if people are coming. And sure they are complimentary but everyone gets super pissed if you take too many though we want loads of them" she whispered moving away from the sweets,
Alpha grunted and shook her head "These are partly for the people who havent been here tonight and partlyjust to fill up the kitchen on the airship with something sugary heh. Though yeah you will want to say goodbye to Felina's dad and then we need to sort out getting supplies sent to the airship before bed. Think Zadina and Amane went to the observatory to see the show so give em a little time to get back. The supply planning isnt important for em anyway"
