"Impressive," said Herne, "Perhaps we can teach each other. I must say, your method sounds excellent for teh times when I find it neccessary to skin my victims because their bodies are unsuitable to become one of my hunters."

"Well first the body needs to be cleansed off any toxins and healed completly," sadi Herne, eyes flitting down to Ashuri's body at his feet, "The next step after that is freezing the body in it's current form. It gets tiresome having to replace hunters fro somethign as mundane as aging. From there, it's just a matter of forming a mental link with the brain and probing it to animation."

Herne nodded, "She will, indeed. All her previous capabilities and powers are sealed inside her body. Just her soul, the part the regulated the powers and makes her Ashuri, is gone. Everything else...is mine."

Herne shrugged, "It is a drawback I can live with, given the alternatives. I have a feelign she woudl eb much harder to regulate should her soul reamin whitin her actual body. Some power is more ruled by emotions, sadly, but taking even a fraction of the power is better than killing the person outright and getting none."

Morrigan grew pale, one hand moving over her mouth. To hear everything she was hearing left her sick to her stomach and faint; to complicate matters, it was only a matter of time before she was found.
And how, how in the mundane material hells would she get the soul BACK?
She didn't dare move, or breath, or even think at that moment. She felt cold, goosebumps raised over the revealed areas of her flesh, the circulation in her fingertips retreating to the bone. By the greatest Gods and Goddesses, how did one get through all this?

Naga nodded once. "The building isn't hard to find at all if you know the city----it's so noticeable it's nearly like a beacon." he explained, "A giant dome or sphere, along those lines. Haven't really visited lately. Hounds! Search!" His brief orders were readily responded to, but by then, it was easily enough sensed by everyone that Morrigan escaped to somewhere else.
Naga raised an eyebrow, pinpointing the area of ceiling. "All this time...." he murmured, "She's heard everything. Undoubtedly, she'll warn her friends..."
In reality, she was trying to figure out where the twins were at, though it was proving much more difficult than she anticipated. She kept the general area highlighted in her memory, before returning to the others through some more shifts in dimensions.

"We have a problem," she announced quietly to the group, revealing Po-ar's location and beginning to heal him. "We have, a very, very, big problem..."

Herne was not happy that Morrigan had listened in, but so far nothing incriminating had come against him.

"The twins are safetly hidden, and even if they managed to be recaptured, who was after them would remain a foggy mystery. It is unfortunate that they know of Ashuri, but nothing substantial; without teh sould they can't readily bring her back, anyway. Perhaps though I shoudl go to the twins before a counter attack is launched. I have plans fro those two I would rather not have innterupted and I can launch those while some of my servents are preparing Ashuri's body.

"the most disturbing thing to me is that my dogs did not sense her. They are desgined to track those of fae descent. She must have soem warding on her person."

Imogene and Leif btoh winced at the sight of Po-ar. The man looked...terrible. There was really no other word for it.

Imogene hung back, most of what was going on was going right over her head, but she had jumped (or rather been pushed) into this feet first, so she was goign to tick it out and help where she could.

Leif took in everything. Morrgina's ace, Po-ar's condition, Trunk's worry, with a frown.

"There's something wrong here," he mummered, "Something else I mean."

Those wounds and the method used on Po-ar looked horribly familiar. Oh God and Goddess, don't let this be. Especialyl if I am bound not to reveal myself and warn them. No, no. Anything but him

"We left them at the Temple," said Lief nervously. He had a very bad feelign in his gut. Po-ar's wonds and the twins out of his sight. No, no, bad feeling. He prayed his gut was lying to him.

Herne nodded and snapped his fingers. On of his hunters appeared by his side, looking to the man for direction.

'Take her and get her prepared for me," he said sharply, montioing toward's Ashuri's body. The hunter nodded blankly, picked up the woman and vanished.

"We will all know when I am done," said Herne with a smile, "Because if my plan works, it will benifit us all. Care to join me at my lodge for this? It's going to be quite a show, I think."

"Please don't say that," said Leif sharply, "What do you think is on my mind right now?"

He never should have left them. He has promised to try and protect them and he had left them in the Temple.

Herne smiled and opened a portal to his lodge. The hunter was no mage. He had a few select skills in soul magics, but his teleportation skills were limited to bring his hunters to his side, go to his hunters or return to his lodge. Still, more than not it tened to be enough for his purposes.

Bowing he gestured for Naga and Konton to go through if they wished to accompany him.
