Shuji was so surprised that he didn't answer. Nazuki turned away and then executed henge no jutsu and turned into her instructor. A much less cheerful and downcast version. Shuji snapped out of it and nodded, acknowledging her intelligence:
"you were a much quicker learner than the mizukage, and you have alot of potential too. However, the mizukage is respected not for her skills but for her heart, which pours out love to everybody. You should also heed that as an example."
Nazuki nodded but it was obvious that she wasn't intent on it. Shuji sighed and moved onto technique #2.

"Now this technique is called bunshin no jutsu, or split body technique. It simply makes it appear as if there are multiple copies of you. This technique can be used for diversions and many other things. It's a supplementary technique." explained shuji after choking on his tongue. To show Nazuki, Shuji made 6 handseals and used bunshin no jutsu, making six shujishaped corpuscles of chakra.
Nazuki narrowed her eyes and jotted down the handseals by memory. This was going to be slightly harder then henge no jutsu, and will possibly cause more chakra.

Nazuki worked on molding her chakra and dividing it to form the clone. Her first try yielded a female shape with modest curves and no face. knowing that this wasn't enough, she pushed her chakra a bit further and made the face, and the azure eyes plus raven hair. Suddenly surprised by her clone staring back at her, Nazuki lost her focus and the clone dissipated. It is indeed strange to look at yourself, which appears like nothing but a strange sibling that you have known all your life but have never really met.
Shuji coughed and interrupted her pensive mood, ushering her to go back to training...

"it is important not to loose concentration in any technique...and bunshin no jutsu is no exception. To be a successful kunoichi you must not only possess all the skills of a shinobi but have other assets to make yourself known. Mitsuko worked extremely hard, though she was quite a slow learner she never gave up."
Nazuki sighed and wondered why shuji-sensei was going on and on about the mizukage. It was true that she was great, but there was no need to praise her that much.
Then it occured to her that shuji sensei wasn't trying to advertise anything, but was wrapped in admiration and affection for his previous pupil.

"Now!" said shuji with a confident and smug tone. "throw a kunai at me." Nazuki sighed as she twirled the sharp object in her fingers and whipped it out at high speed. The kunai thudded into shuji's neck and then there came a puff of smoke. The kunai was stuck into a log.
"hey! Behind you!" said shuji as he tapped on Nazuki's shoulder. Nazuki turned around slowly and shuji was surprised that she was not surprised. "so is that the subsitution technique?" asked Nazuki in a flat voice.
"yes...that's kawarimi no jutsu...art of subsitution." answered shuji in a bored voice...boredom was contagious.

"yawn...so ya basically swap places with an object that is nearby and it takes the damage instead of you. It could be a life saver at times and can basically...like, turn the situation around." explained shuji, getting more bored by the second. He could see himself droning on and on, reflected in the girl's azure eyes...
Nazuki sensed that he was about to fall asleep, and just asked him how the handseals go. Shuji snapped to attention and then his voice grew even duller:"basically only five handseals, but with practice it can come out without handseals. Mitsuko was actually really good at casting familiar techniques without handseals."

Nazuki gazed around the training ground and noticed a stray cat eating a chicken heart. She made the directed handseals and there was a puff of smoke as the cat appeared infront of shuji sensei and she was left staring at a chicken heart half-eaten chicken heart. mad Nazuki cocked her eyebrows and gazed back at the frantiacally confused cat. She made the handseals again and the cat was back to its beloved chicken heart.
Shuji swallowed his pride and marvelled at her sharpness. It took him one week to learn each of the techniques, and it took Mitsuko two weeks each. But Nazuki can graduate from the ninja academy in a single day...

Nazuki tried once again to switch places with the cat, but this time she couldn't do it...There was something wrong, but she definitely was concentrating. Shuji smiled and realized that she had a weakness afterall: she sucks at converting chakra. She can mold her chakra quite well but most of her chakra is wasted and released into the surroundings. This explains why she ran out of chakra after performing a few E-rank techniques...
"gotta work on that chakra conversion, but way to go! you've learnt three techniques already. You are now fully gennin. But there's one more technique I would teach you. Just get some sleep for now."

Nazuki lay in bed thinking of what her purpose in life was. The mizukage brings love to everybody, shuji sensei teaches people the basics and paves the way to a great career as a ninja. But what about her? She used to be a criminal that had to carve up dead bodies to buy drugs in a hopelss cycle until she very nearly lost her mind. Her parents were unknown to her and her clan is loosely attached to her. Was there any point in her life?
But one thing was for sure...she did not want to go back as a drug addict and grave robber. Whether becoming a kunoichi was her calling or not...she was satisfies for now.

As she slipped off silently into dreamland, a soothing wind blew into the room and made tiny whistling sounds. Nazuki was reminded of her mother's whistling when she was young and how she had a bad singing voice but whistled lullabies to lull her to sleep. And finally in her sleep, she smiled a rare smile that nobody would ever see except her deceased mother...Nazuki was asleep.
In her dream, she was in a labyrinth with blood-stained walls which seemed awfully familiar. She heard a sound and turned around to see a painfully pale-looking and thin girl with blood-red lips and heavy mascara. Nine-inch nails.

It was her...or was it? The complexion was the same, yet she had some sort of savage and far away look. As if her mind was located not in her head but in her hands. The marks that were on her arms were fresh with blood, and looked quite nauseating. It wasn't her. She was kagerou Nazuki. That creature was the emo zombie...
She was no longer a criminal, though the dream still came back to haunt her. And everytime she sees her old self she is overcome with a terror that cannot be described. It is as if the mirror image started talking to you, and you have just figured out that it had been someone else for your entire life.

When morning came, Nazuki was surprised by how much caked stuff was gathered around her eyelids. She washed her face and ate a simple breakfast, not knowing how to cook but not wanting to starve. The only thing she could cook is onigiri, ramen, and pizza. Her chakra was returning, and even though she didn't know what it fully was, she had the idea that it was important to a kunoichi.
When she arrived, she was 10 minutes early but surprisingly, shuji sensei was there already. "I got up two hours earlier," said shuji as he scratched his head. "Mitsuko was always 3 hours earlier in her training...

"so now we shall go to the lake, where we learn to walk on water!!!" said shuji with much enthusiasm. Nazuki followed behind and they deashed through the forest to the shore of a magnificent body of water. There appeared to be an island off in the distance, and shuji pointed to it.
"we shall now walk to the island by foot! Observe!" Shuji made the tiger handseal and focused his chakra into his feet, separating his feet from the water by a thin layer of chakra. Then he stepped onto the water and started walking.
Nazuki swallowed and made the same handseal, putting her feet gingerly on the water. She sank a little butnot completely. It was like walking through soft snow.

Step by step, Nazuki started trekking towards the island with shuji following close behind in case she fell. Nazuki thought about one thing the whole time...the next step. Her fear was that she would take another step and fall in to the depth, but her immense concentration helped her with each step she took. Shuji looked closely as the aura around her feet started fading.
Suddenly, Nazuki plunged into the water up to her waist, but her chakra layer was still intact. Gritting her teeth at the sudden cold, Nazuki got back onto the surface and sloshed through again.
Shuji smiled...he had witnesses the determintaion of another gennin.

Nezi was in a class leaning back in his chair as a man who looked like he was only 18 came into the class "hello student.. im your new teacher" The man said " My name is akatero" The man said "you will be learning the art of the bunshin no jutsu" Akatero said "ok im going to show you how it is done" akatero said as he then made various hand signs "bunshin no jutsu" Akatero said as two poofs appeared beside jim and the immediatley cleared up and revealed two perfect clones of akatero "Lets go up and try" Akatero said to nezi
"ok lets give it a try" Nezi said copying the hand signs.Two poofs appeared next to him and they had started to clear up. All you could of seen was two not so good looking versions of nezi."huh this is interesting" Nezi said looking at the two clones.
"it was your first try youll get it after a while." Akatero said as he then looked at nezi "what is your name" Akatero said
"My name is Nezi" Nezi said as he then sat back down
