dark_princess_jesse Jesse had followed him all the way to the beach.
Jared plopped himself down onto the sand, looking down at his puppydog plushie, tugging at its floppy ears as he contemplated. He looked up suddenly when he felt that someone was looking at him, seeing a little girl, maybe about his age approaching, "hewo.... who awe yew? ... Im Jawed." he introduced politely ... he thought to himself, what the heck, I may even get an answer now.

Jared sat up a bit at hearing the name, and she looked about the right age, "awe yew miss Awwey's dottur?" he asked, his mind diverted from his own saddness for at least the moment, smiling from behind his pacifier at the little girl.

Jared shrugged his shoulders a bit and looked down again as Jesse reminded him of why he left the party, "I no kno, I gess betuz I wuz twyin to tawk wiff peepuls at da pawty, but nobudy wuz lissenin to me." he replied, having felt so small and worthless when he tried to introduce himself to a couple of the new people he hadn't met yet, and was completely ignored ... and then when he was blown off by Fox and ignored by Ana, the 2 people he felt closest to, it was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Jared looked over and smiled a bit from behind his pacifier, blushing a little about being in this riddiculous dress and girly get up, appreciating the fact that the little girl wasn't poking fun or anything, thinking he wouldn't be able to handle it at this point, his eyes getting a little misty as he tried to fight back some tears. He looked the little girl over a second, then remembering Alley saying she was 2, so he was 1 year older than her, looking down at his puppydog plushie and back over to her, seeing she had no bear or plushie, "heer, diss iz mistur Woof, do yew fink yew tan tayke care uf him for me?" he offered politely, knowing he had a few more plushies back at Fox's room.
