Fenris the Ancient One *waking up again he goes in search of snow flying faster than the wind through the trees.* *Snow's four wolves trail him at a slower pace, tracking Fenris by scent through the trees. They howl directions when they sense him going astray*

*running through the mountains he begins to pick up the presence of the soul eater and his minor minions. Skirting them as best as he can he continues his run.* "i must be going in the right direction" *he says to himself*

*Snow swims gently through the calm ocean waters, waiting for just the right fish to swim past her quick hands. She decides that she'll go back to the clan in the morning, while the sun is in the sky.*

*running for hours and hours straight he finally reaches the edge of land ahead of him the sea stretches as far as the eye can see. To the north the reek of the demon can be sensed. Realizing that the demon cant cross water yet is still trying to get to snow he sets off swimming in a somewhat northernly direction.*

Fenris the Ancient One *running for hours and hours straight he finally reaches the edge of land ahead of him the sea stretches as far as the eye can see. To the north the reek of the demon can be sensed. Realizing that the demon cant cross water yet is still trying to get to snow he sets off swimming in a somewhat northernly direction.* ((You should be able to see the island from the shore, it's fairly close)) *Snow's four wolves reach the shore a few minutes behind Fenris, just in time to see him swimming away. Tumblethorn and Highstride set up a mournful howl before all four pace back into the forest* *Snow is underwater, so cannot hear the howl, but she senses Tumblethorn's distorted sending.* < >
*An image accompanies the wolf-thoughts, but is so blurred by distance that it could be anyone. Snow dives down into the waves again to catch more fish*

(( i am far far south to avoid the demon sensing me ^^ )) *swiftly he eats up the miles of water under his paws and soon enough an island comes into view along with a fammiliar scent.*

*The Soul Eater lies flat at the top of the gently rounded hills leading down to the shore, staring out at the island and trying to catch sight of the portable emotion projector he knows is there. The tortured souls of the coastal denizens writhe soothingly in his belly as he waits for his prey to come to him*

Fenris the Ancient One *eventually he reaches the shore and climbing onto the beach collapses from the exhausting run and swim.* *Snow senses a familiar mental presence as she comes up with the last fish. Dragging a six-foot long string of large fish behind her, she swims through the water to the other side of the island, emerging from the water and running over to Fenris* Fenris?! *Snow drops the fish beyond the tide line and tries to drag Fenris farther up the shore. Her legs nearly parallel to the sand and every muscle in her arms standing out with the effort, she manages to drag him a few feet higher. She realizes that her leathers are on the other side of the island when bits of shell cut into her legs.*

*slowly consciosness scrables its way to the top of his mind as he realizes something is dragging him. Instantly he grabs ahold of whatever it is as he heaves himself and the offender up. realizing it is snow he blinks for a few seconds letting the knowledge settle in.* SNOW?!?!?!?! what the.... you're bleeding!

Fenris the Ancient One *slowly consciosness scrables its way to the top of his mind as he realizes something is dragging him. Instantly he grabs ahold of whatever it is as he heaves himself and the offender up. realizing it is snow he blinks for a few seconds letting the knowledge settle in.* SNOW?!?!?!?! what the.... you're bleeding! *gasps for air as her feet dangle above the sand* Nevermind that...what are you...doing here? *tries to pull her arms out of his grasp*

I suppose I can retrieve my leathers in the morning...*is relieved to have company* That way. *points toward her hollow with one slim, pale arm* ((My cat just started snoring.))
