Alistair stared at the Snorunt, a calculating stare in his eyes. This Pokemon truly was impressive; she'd avoided Lucy's attack, intimidated her slightly, and was now showing an excellent grasp of the terrain. Perhaps... he pulled the Pokeball out of his bag, the last he had, and with all his hopes riding on it, tossed it.
Starter Pokemon: Emogla Name & Level: Lucianna, Level 3 [Temperament] Quiet Stats: HP:17/PP:21/ATK:10/DEF:9 (cool/SPD:10/SP-ATK:11/SP-DEF:9/ MOVES: - Air Slash - Ion Deluge - EXP: 28/100 Pokemon held items: N/A
Alright so next time you don't need to roll when using an item. If you do roll, it counts as your defense roll for the next attack. So I'm going to ignore the 9 roll because you had already rolled the 12 as your defense even if it wasn't in your post. Basically when using an item, it completely skips your attack turn. There is no need to roll because you can't attack and use an item at the same time.
[13-12] + [9-7] = 3/2 = 1.5 rounded to 2 DMG
Pansear 9/14 HP remaining
Hmm. The attack had landed but it hadn't been quite as strong as she had hoped. A fire type against another fire type would be a longer battle then expected. This in mind, she would slink forward before zigzagging a bit to try and avoid the next attack!
The pokeball caught the ice pokemon by surprise. Aw, the battle was over? What was happening now? She pouted for a second but then smiled. This could be another new fun adventure! The Emolga seemed fun! They could always have more fun sometime soon! The Snorunt was sucked into the ball and it fell to the ground and moved back and forth once, twice until it stopped and the center went from red to white. Alistair had caught himself a Snorunt!
[Lucy gained 23 EXP! Lucy is at 51/100]
As the battle was over, the first thing Alistair would see was a large rock not that far from him. He would see an Eevee heading over to the rock and disappear behind it. When the pokemon emerged, it was now a Glaceon. There was only one rock that caused evolution like that in a pokemon. It would seem that he had found what he was looking for: the Icy Rock! The stone that caused evolution in pokemon! All he needed to do was to take a picture and he had successfully completed his mission! He just needed to find his way back off the island!
Well, that had been closer than he would have liked it. And from the look on his face, the Deoxys wasn't exactly please either. This was a Legendary he was fighting, after all-- a creature of pure skill and strength (theoretically). Did he even stand a ghost of a chance? Instead of attacking properly, Vorpal would pull back and begin to spin-- a more nervous Swords Dance usual, but he was under a lot of pressure. Not every day you performed for a space virus.

The rock struck Gin square in the head, cracking against his skull and bouncing off hard. This was probably not what any professor meant by "using your head".
The action caused the Delibird to burst into hysterical chuckles, in the way those at a bar at 2 AM can only manage. He flopped to the group, rolling around in the sand. >GEEETTTTTTT DUNKED ON,< he crowed, flailing in the snow. As he waved, his bag spilled out some Spikes... would they settle into the snow?
Gin gains +1 Injury! ((A person can only take 5 injuries during a mission; if they take more than that, they get booted out of the mission... with consequences.))
[16-11] + [9-8] = 7 DMG Delibird 9/16 HP remaining
[Understood!]
Gin was hit head on by the rock. Ouch! That had hurt! The boy glared at the Delibird ready to kill. "Don't hold back, Takeshi." the boy practically growled.
With pleasure! Hearing Gin and seeing the anger in the boy's eyes, the Charmander looked almost gleeful! This was going to be fun! The spikes rose along his back as he licked a claw. Yum. Focusing of the delicious taste of blood and even better the savory taste of flesh, he charged aiming to Bite down once more!

The flames struck, but it was like watching the flame burst hit Pansear before, that seem one he now had, actually. Only now, he was tanking against fire damage on Alex's side instead of being a foe. "Alright, get ready to hit it with Focus Punch. It's not very fast, so hit hard enough to break through its defenses." Pansear let a little grin break on his face, rushing in. >"Nothin' personal, lady."<

[+2 to Vorpal's ATK!]
Vorpal's ridiculous display would be met with the icy cold stare of the Deoxys. Apparently not only was he unimpressed with the Honedge's actions, but he was reconsidering whether the ghost was worthy to be called his opponent. Thus he would merely deliver a scathing Leer.
Jin-Hua wouldn't get far however before she found a rock in her path, or rather as the stone began turning about, a Pokemon. With it's wide stalked eyes looking her up and down, the young trainer would find herself looking at an emaciated Dwebble. The poor things exoskeleton had actually begun to shrivel, and whatever nutrients and moisture it had left were pouring out of it's mouth in and puddling at his feet in the form of drool. In the insect's eyes Jin-Hua might of well have been an off colour Enigma berry. He was looking at her the way a five year old eyes a banana split. The ever increasing pool of drool couldn't be making that clearer.
With a ravenous glint and insanity in it's eyes, the Bug-type launched himself forward. Jin-Hua was the first scrap of 'food' he'd seen in weeks, and he wasn't about to let her get away!
Shiloh would ride with the wartortle as they made their way to the island. He wasn't sure what to make of it, because, it looked a bit strange even from the distances.
It was like the island itself was split into different areas.
Since, he was riding with the Wartortle, he knew he had no choice in where he ended up. He just hoped that it was a place that wouldn't be a disadvantage for his pokemon.
Valient, it was finally time he let the bug out of it's ball, or at least, it would be once they reached the island.
Mawashi's expression flashed into a grimace for a small moment before grinning again. He charged at his opponent again. He noticed the Heatmor hunker down in defense. Now he didn't have to worry about aiming as much and focus more on the force of his blow. The fire-type grinned happily at this thought as it ran forth. His leg outstretched in a sweeping motion toward the Heatmor as got within reach to attack.

The Spikes sunk deep into the snow where they couldn't hurt anyone, and the Delibird found himself howling in pain. The Charmander's bite had landed hard on his ribcage, and he couldn't help thinking he had done absolutely nothing to deserve this. >WHERE'S MY VODKA, HAROLD?< he wailed at Takeshi, who he had apparently was named Harold. He rolled around pathetically in the snow-- not much of a defense, but what can you do?
Gin continued to glare at the Delibird. Rage was visible on his face and he tightened a fist against his side. It wouldn't make sense for him to join this battle. All he could do would be to wait and watch.
Takeshi looked disappointed. Shaking off the thought, he would turn and run in random directions. If he didn't know which way he was heading, it would make it harder for his opponent to catch him!

The Delibird was completely unaware of Gin's rage. instead, he was considering the horror of no longer having any alcohol. What was soberity even like? HIt had been so long... >SERIOUSLY! MY LIQUOR! WHERE IIIIIIIIIIIS IT?< he shouted at Takeshi, flailing his arms wildly. He lurched forward, slamming his flipper forward in a clumsy Ice Punch.
Fluke actually smiled at the Baltoy. The weight of gravity was heavy, but it was nothing he couldn't stand. He wasn't the floaty type to begin with, but Hiro seemed to be more worried.
His eyes glancing at their floating rock nervously. He could only hope that it didn't extend that far.
"End this quick, use Night Slash again."
Hiro would call as Fluke would give a bit of a bow with his claws out stretched.
(This was a fun dance, but it's time to bring this to an end)
He would start to shimney and shake as he gave a twirl that was done slowly and gracefully.
(So, I will show you one final move)
Fluke told her before he streaks forward in a quick move that left a trail of darkness in his wake as he used night slash.
