LoL It's not for wearing out or casual stuffs. My 'normal' makeup is just some eyeliner and mascara-- 'cause I have no eyelashes DX
But it's like stage makeup. You over pronounce things like eyes and lips so that they translate over distance. My sister and I had been planning to take some pictures with the trees, but mum wouldn't let her camera outside while it was still snowing. So we didn't get to do them =< Just snapped a few quick ones when it was getting dark.
And that's still nothing compared to what I have to wear on stage. Because I'm pale, I have to use a crapload of foundation that's like 4 shades darker to my skin so that I don't wind up looking ghostly and pallid DX S'the only part of acting I don't like. LoL

On the upside, if you get a part as a ghost you won't have to wear much at all!
I need to do some stagework on some plays and so forth, I've always been curious about that stuff. My friend in theater has told me how extreme the effect of the lighting is, but I've never seen how it effects things.

Fish - LOL! I was allowed to get away with my paleness for the last play I was in. Since Becca was sick, but I still had to put on TONS (more than in those pictures) of eyeliner and I had to do bruise makeup all over my arms.
But that would be cool! There's two positions in lighting. Lighting Designer and then Lighting Technician. The lighting is almost like an actor in itself LoL Good lighting can reeeeaaally create a mood or atmosphere which is crucial in plays where you're creating a reality on stage. I do know some directors though, who prefer very very simplistic lighting, as not to detract from the acting. Same with their soundtrack. But a good balance does wonders!

I'm not sure I'd necessarily be looking into lighting- that was just sorta keeping on subject- but while I figure I'd be a pretty terrible actor, that stuff does sorta interest me.
Of course, a lot of things interest me to some degree or other. Making it really damn hard to pick a major. @_______@
Also sorta jealous of you being able to play around in all those leaves. D=
Could only do that a little as a kid, because I'd get yelled at for it. Thanks to some allergies to just about everything in nature, playing around in leave piles for a couple minutes would have me sniffling and breathing out of my mouth for days.
