Emma swung her legs back and forth as she read in the dining room. Her focus kept drifting to other things though and, eventually, she groaned and put the book down. Emma rested her head on the table while thinking over how things at the Machinist headquarters went. She still had a slight buzz of adrenaline that was wearing off so it was taking a while adjusting to the peace and quiet that was occurring now. ☾

Never Again...Herald nodded. He was relaxed, but then again he had been through some extremely hellish fights. Not quite as wide-impacting as the destruction of the Machinist Order, but he was simply built not to have a lot of downtime between battles. He had to relax as quickly as possible because he generally had a very small amount of time to do so. He watched her close her book. "Try to take it easy," he told her as the spirits came and took away the plates. "You should try and take your mind off of it."Will I be bound in chains

They'd both made it through perhaps one of their most dangerous missions thus far and he couldn't deny that Saint Clara had been extremely powerful. But they'd both made it through okay.
