"You used I," Lizzy's smile widened, and she looked like a proud mama all over again, edging on sparkling, but choosing not to, "One trip to the eye scream parlor is not considered regularly~ But yes, you should return to your date. I imagine she's going to be lonely otherwise." She giggled softly, resisting the urge to mess his hair up again.
With an exaggerated curtsy towards Jericho, she left the dance floor, heading straight towards where she thought she had seen Mac a moment ago, when she was still dancing; she was his date, after all. She also got a cup of punch for each of them.
She saw sausages at the refreshment table, but... Nope. Not reliving that memory.Enoh Love OPEN ENDED THING! o/ You can tty have him go mingle else where immediately as well. She's just shoving punch at him. xD

Well, apparently the pup was frozen stiff? Mot blinked and waved a hand in front of the ghost dog's face. "Helloooo~?"

"I've been... going back and forth with it," Jericho admitted. It really wasn't until recently that he was relaxed enough to use the first person. Nodding to Lizzy with a mild grin, he turned away with a small flourish of the cloak (he couldn't resist it this time), then went to see where Shehk and Sammy were now.

A text suddenly lit up a few select phones... To: Jericho, Junko, Shehk, Christof, Lizzy, Sammy Riley and I are coming. I hope to minimize the amount of disruption. She has Bogeyman accompaniment. Look for us in a few minutes. And, sure enough, in a few minutes Malodore gingerly pushed the door open. It wasn't entirely sure what to do, other than that it did not want a big announcement of any sort... but it did want their friends to come and meet with her. Well. It would have to let the situation unfold as it was inclined to do. This wasn't its event, after all. Quietly, without drawing any additional attention to itself, it held the door for Riley... and for Vek.

"Yes, sitting down sounds nice." Mitsu agreed. Her feet hurt and begged for a rest. She would probably slip her shoes off for a bit of a break. First order of business though, Mitsu made herself a plate of food getting an assortment of edible treats before she slow limped her way to a table and sat down.
The sigh that escaped her was audible as she relaxed into the seat. "I don't wear shoes with heels on them very often." She slipped her feet out of her shoes, the cool floor of the auditorium a divine reprieve after what they had gone through. Mitsu wasn't sure she would ever wear heels again. She was short and she could live with it.

Nodding to Mitsu, Shun took her hand and started towards the nearest set of chairs. He noticed that she was limping now, which brought a frown to his features. Once they were seated, he narrowed his good eye at the shoes and shook his head to himself.
"Those things always seemed so impractical to me. I don't believe I'll ever understand them," he said while relaxing himself. There was a flash of greater concern as he looked her over though.
"Your feet aren't hurting too much are they?"

Mitzi entirely understood the horsewoman's attitude towards her date - she knew the feeling, and actually found Shaheen's frustration somewhat amusing. Certainly enough so to be willing to help her out, and as the horsewoman described Shik, Mitzi nodded along. This description was a lot more useful than the first one, and now the Reaper ghoul actually felt like she might be able to recognize the man if she saw him. And she was also now quite certain that she hadn't. "No, I didn't see anyone like that leaving," she replied, although to be honest, she'd been too focused on hurrying to reach the prom to even consider looking at the sky. If he'd already been in the air, she never would have seen him. The ghoul was beginning to feel a bit awkward holding her hand out, and was just about to drop it back to her side, when suddenly Shaheen grabbed her and started to drag her across the room. She managed to stifle her surprised yelp and quickly followed after, a slightly bemused half-grin teasing at her lips. She did her best to scan the crowd as she was pulled along, although the horsewoman was moving fast enough that Mitzi had to spend most of her attention not running into anyone.

Riyo watched carefully as Titus looked over the crowd. Really, she had been kidding. Why had she even bothered saying anything? Sure, Shun had been fun to screw with, but what if he picked someone she actually liked?
Well. That had been the whole reason Titus came to prom in the first place, whether she liked to admit it or not. He had humored her much more than Riyo thought physically possible for the nightmare demon. She supposed it was an equivalent exchange to not piss in his cheerios this time. Maybe.
Taking strides towards the exit of the dance floor, Riyo tried to place hands in pockets that weren't actually there. "Jack dammit." She didn't like not having a sanctuary for her hands. "These things aren't practical..."
Speaking of impractical. "Oh. And uh... What's with the riding crop anyways?" Yes. She'd seen them before. Yes, she went down to the tracks and bet on the skeletal horses. Yes she'd lost a lot of seeds. That was how Riyo learned she shouldn't gamble.

"Well, they make me a little taller..." Not that it helped much. But Mitsu shook her head looking at her feet. "No not too bad. I think a short break and they'll be fine." They were a little red were the shoes obviously rubbed a little but for the most part she wasn't used to putting so much pressure on the ball of her foot. At least not in this form.
"So are you having fun?" Oh wait...Shun didn't understand fun. "Eer...a good time I mean?" Would that work instead?

Just then, Jericho felt a buzz in his pants. Taking his phone out, he paused in his search to see what was going on. Once he read what was up, he looked towards the entrance, spying Malodore. He couldn't see Riley or the Boogeyman just yet, but he was wanting to head to the entrance.
However.. the fact that she would have a boogey escort had him a little wary.

For the time Titus followed Riyo off the dance floor until he spotted someone he wanted to pester. Though when the riding crop was brought up he looked at it. Titus couldn't be held responsible for artist license. " I thought it was a nice touch to the rest of this outfit." He shrugged before clipping the thing to his belt. " It's been useful."

Shun nodded quietly to Mitsu in understanding. He was perfectly fine with settling down for a little while anyway. Being in such a crowded an high energy place was a little wearisome for him. At first, he stared at Mitsu when she asked if he was having fun, but then nodded once more to her amended question.
"It's.. not entirely my thing but I think I can say I'm enjoying this," said, "And yourself?"

"I am no Monster, but I must admit the way you spin me makes my head go light and wild. That provokes my beastly nature, and among the priestess I was considered the most ruthless brute", Heidla smiled. " Well, we still might try breaking it all, if you want... and you're right, I have never felt that alive before!"With their coming back to the slower part of dancing, her passionate wish to break it all to pieces was subdued. Heidla was thinking whether it was not actually better for the horsemen to see more of the monster world, to realize how different they all are - and through it to understand the limit of their power. She felt so warm and safe feeling Calder's hand pressed against her spine: " Mmmm.....", she muttered as her tresses almost touched the floor. " That's almost a death drop. Do you dance like that in your clan - or is it an Amityville invention?"Regaining her balance, she hid her head in Calder's shoulder and whispered: "Thank you for showing me that I am alive".

The presence of an escort did well to hurry them along on their way. There was no more dawdling, or pausing for more reacquaintance, when Vek was behind them. Perhaps he was just sick of waiting. Riley hoped that was the case. She liked making him wait.
But they made it to the prom within minutes, and Malodore held the door open for her. She took hold of the door, holding it herself, and stepped inside.
The place was garish, noisy, hot, filled with younglings, and altogether the last place she would ever want to find herself in. The distaste was hidden behind a mask of apathy as she surveyed her surroundings, careful not to make eye contact with anyone in case there was someone she was supposed to know.. and didn't.
She continued forward, taking Malodore's hand so that it no longer held the door - and then letting it go so it slammed closed on Vek.
Oh.. She turned and re-opened the door, giving him a truly apologetic duck of the head. I am so sorry.
She wasn't.

And just like that, the hoedown had ended. Jump'steppin'? With a final swing and spin, the tatzel concluded her dance with the reaper boil by fanning out her skirt and offering a small bow before clapping her hands at everyone. Oh, she heard you, Mot. Before making ready to chew him out a bit, Levi thanked Roch. Keep'it up n' hoedown'll become second skin, boil. Thanks fer tha'dance! Jump'steppin' sounds interestin' but I gotta see'bout a cowboil.Concluding her country dedication for the evening, Levi headed over to Mot to get a few words out about his princess business. Yew know ya'll gotta smart mouth, boil. Yer lucky ya'got them feet ta'back up yer gum'smackin', kekeke. But, princey, it ain't over by'a long shot. Both hands on her hips, Levi looked aside now to who had been with Mot. Jove! ...errr... Jove? Ya'all right thar? Umm... Glancing at the cowboil, she shrugged. How to snap him out... food?Jove, want'a spookie? Getting some sugar into his system might perk the pup up!
