[Sanity_is_for_the_Weak] I have trouble with them too in the campaign, they like to come from all sides, and without warning... That's exactly what I'm going through. For some reason I have the hardest time fighting against the Eldar! It's only them too. Take my most recent IG campaign, for example. I can't remember the name the provence that I was attacking ((The one that has double requisition points everywhere)), but the eldar stonewalled me for hours! I beat them only by slipping a few units into their bases and destroying their HQ's. I probably have such a hard time because I'm kinda slow to mobilize my forces. I like to completely tech up before I attack. *shrug* It's just what I do. It's probably a good thing that I can't play other people online, because I have a sneaking feeling that I would get owned rapidly, many many times. xp

I've only ever fought them with Imperial Guard and Orks. They are usualy eleminated by one of the other armies before I even get to them. *shrug*

Maegnis Ra did anyone notice the blood raven flag in the chaos intro? I did. I don't think it's really that important though. Just one of those "I can't be bothered making another skin" sort of things.

My aspirations for creating a chaos Table Top army have driven me to do the campaign with the Word Bearers Legion. So far Ive had plenty of success.

-Mykal what if its a hint towards the origin of the blood raven? Then it's a hint isn't it? But do you really think that one bit of data that isn't even mentioned has some great meaning?

Nah, according to CS Goto the Blood Ravens have raped / been raped by Eldar in the past, hence their mysterious background and high level of librarians.

The AI is really starting to piss me off. I started against a level 7 space marine territory when I was chaos. Within 5 minutes of the start I had 8 tactical marine squads, two commanders, and two gray Knight Terminators on me. Now thats lame. After I had pushed them back (a 15 minute conflict just to get them off my base) and Moved my army into a random position across the map so that I could move to take out a base. All of a sudden, the AI army shows up, magically knowing where I was. I took them down, and moved to a different position to build strength, and they just came right at me again.
This Really aggravates me, as making surprise Eldar Attacks useless. I put webway gates along main routes on the map, I cloak them, and I prepare for ambushes. Now, what happens is that the enemy always stays away from these areas. The AI will just sit outside my line of sight because it knows those gates are there. I will even bait them into coming through my network, they stop just short of coming through. Ive seen them go the longest way around to get me (which doesnt include webways) and even hole up in their base because they know Ive covered the map with gates. I have to say the most disappointing was this: Alot of times I make second bases, especially with the eldar, so that if my defenses fail, I have somewhere to retreat to. Now, this happened to me, as I retreated to the second base using webways. Now, there was no way the enemy could have known where I was, my entire base was completely cloaked. Well, I wait for a minute as they mop up the forces that didnt make it to the webway, or are too big to fit into the gate. Soon enough, an entire Necron army just waltzes into my area and sits there. I dont really know what to do, my remaining force would get shredded, so I wait for them to move on. They dont - They just sit there and wait for me to do something, their infantry are centered around my support portal, while the scarabs are around my main building thingy. I call that ******** cheap.

They have 2 bases, and 2 armies. 2 HQs, 2 Landraiders, all that. Plus their honour guard, which probably included some Grey Knights and such...

-Mykal He hit it dead center, its pretty cheap if you ask me. I found a use for drone teams and drone harbingers, they are pretty good at overrunning positions.
