"Oh!" she said, watching the shadows come over her. "That was...interesting." She looked down at the .jpg]dress. "It's beautiful." (it's sparkly) "But...hm...maybe...no sparkles?" she suggested. "Then it would be absolutely perfect." She looked back up at Shin and smiled. She realized there was a mask on her face as well, and she removed it only to get a good look at it, then placed it back on her face.

Shin smiled at her "As you wish my dear" he said.He snapped his fingers then the sparkles faded away from the dress. He smiled at her and put his arm out for her to hold it like a date would when they go to a ball. "Now take myu arm and we should be there in a flash" he said with a smile.

Harold "Harry" Jackson The wheels slowly turned in Harry's head and they clicked in place. Harry looked over the dress and back at her. "Now, I don't know about you, but I am not the best dancer. I try but don't get mad at me if I step on your feet." Harry smiled. "If you want to go with me." Harry thought about his closet. He could find something to wear. he must have something. "When is it again?" Tonight or tomorrow? He never had a head for dates.

Aeora stared silently in the direction of the festivities for a moment, watching the dancers spin in almost hypnotic patterns on the brightly lit floor. At times they seemed to move as one, a single entity, deprived of any sense of identity due to the aggressors that were masks and repetition...
Aeora removed herself from her thoughts, returning her attention to the man, his questions, and his display of what appeared to be an ability to change his wardrobe at will. Aeora was aware his power certainly exceeded such shallow lengths however, and deduced it must be somehow related to a cooling power due to the icy mist his clothing produced.
As he removed his mask, she got a look at his true face. A kind face, if firm. It reminded her vaguely of someone she knew in her clan, long ago. He had been like family to her, and Aeora was amazed at herself, because now she forgot his name. Time had taken it from her.
This saddened Aeora, but she realized that those times were long since dead, and forced herself to return to the present. It seemed her mind was prone to wandering tonight, however much she wished for it to stay in the moment, where it was most needed. The man returned his mask to his face, his regal clothing reassembled itself, and then both his face and the old face from long ago were gone once more.
Aeora contemplated her answer to his question deeply. She would have to choose her words carefully. "Any society has its norms, its rules, which can rarely be transfered from place to place. If I were to be myself, and so live up to my own expectations, and act as I would were I amongst my clan, I would become an even greater outcast from this place." Her choice of words amused herself, seeing as how she was an outcast even when she was "being herself."
"Simply put, if you want to achieve anything, whether it be knowledge or power or whatever else, you must comply with norms. You must wear a mask." Aeora realized she was begin to sound like a prophet. A small smile came to her face at the thought of such a thing.
Taking her own advice to comply with norms, she attempted to lighten the mood of the conversation. "Where I come from, such festivities as this are unheard of. Such deception, you might say... or honesty, as the case may be." She said this remembering her apparently accurate analysis of the man's personality.

‘If souls had a price, I would steal yours’ Kimi smiled as she and the mystery man parted ways. It was warm in here, and due to her true nature and blood, her body temperature was a lot warmer then a humans. She broke away from the crowds and stood by a beautiful ice sculpture of a couple in mid dance. “This dress is going to be the death of me” She moaned while pulling at the bust which made her look even more skinnier then she would like to admit.
It must have been an hour since she had arrived, yet she found her self growing tired of the magic that once captured her. Her sharp blue eyes shifted towards the main stair case where others where still turning up and quickly joining the couples in the centre. “I wonder how they would react if a big sandy wolf put on a mask and joined the dance?” She mused to herself while contemplating the idea. A wolf would not be welcomed as easily as she had been, she was pretty sure of that. But she was then reminded that even a wolf would be preferred over a conniving thief.
Kimi began to think of amusing outcomes to various scenarios that could take place tonight. One included Nugget and crew turning up in a drunken stupor and groping anything that moved. And then she began to wonder about the people behind the mask’s. Sure they looked glamorous now, but what where their actual financial backgrounds? And their day jobs? Farmers that have been scrubbed and then hidden behind a mask.
Either way there was no denying the vast amount of glittering gems that called to her now more then ever. And soon enough she will reply. But what technique shall she use? What game should she play? Kimi smiled “Let the game begin” She moved forwards and quickly found a generously sized man who was wearing a white gold ring that had a red ruby set in a frame, which was beautifully crafted. “Like any good wolf, I can hide the hoard and sniff it out later on” The joys of a treasure hunt where so underrated.
And with a simple spin and a well timed twirl. Kimi had the ring! Secured and placed down the front of her dress! She felt so scandalous. Yet she did not linger on the thought before moving to her next victim?

Gazma Gerzen Leichter(Is)
Halberd Bow Seed Siren's Flute Shield Restoration ~+~Run at your own pace~+~Gerzen hesitated a moment, watching Eos walk away questioning about places to eat. It was only when he saw her hair catch the light just so that he realized the moon had risen. Seeing her there in the moonlight...
"Is usually return to our base to eat," called Gerzen as he ran to catch up to Eos. ",but some have grown accustomed to the food offered by venders in Willbe. Still others have...alternative methods for feeding..."
It was Cirus who made Gerzen aware of everyone's eating habits. Those who needed to eat could be found wandering about Willbe most any day. The others who never left the base or their respective homes...well..
"Hm...?"
Gerzen realized there was something attached to his waist. Moving his hand over the object, he pulled it up into his line of sight.
"A mask...?" He said trying to remember what it was for.
Only now did his eyes look around him to see the citizens of Willbe crowding together and walking in the same direction-each wearing a mask all their own.
"Masquerade." Gerzen stated plainly as his mind made the transition from the object in his hand to the occasion it was meant for.
He turned to Eos.
"Have plans this evening?" He ask plainly while showing his typical grin-obviously unaware of the awkwardness of posing a question so suddenly.~+~Just be sure to stay out of my way~+~ ~Eos Angeline~
 To die...
“No…” Angeline answered Gerzen’s question not seeing why he asked. Then she saw all the people dancing in beautiful ball gowns and masks and realized what was going on.
Her face blazed red. “I am in no way dressed to go to a masquerade ball.” she said embarrassed looking down at herself.. Angeline had a nice dress back at the hotel she was staying at. She didn’t have a mask but she could find one that would match her dress at one of the stands.
Angeline looked back at Gerzen. “Do you mind if I stop and get changed?” She didn’t want to waste his time, but she really needed a nicer dress.
would be an awfully big adventure.

Luna Thorn ~ Luna continued to stalk down the alley ways, keeping herself hidden in the shadows. Thankfully, no one was out tonight, and the Masquerade Ball was keeping everyone's attention. Her grin stayed plastered on her face, as she simply could not hide her excitement. Her mission was something she hadn't done in quite some time, but she was ready, as, well, killing was something she was extremely good at. And sneaking out wasn't exactly hard for her either.
As she made her way to the infirmary, she thought back about what Malice had told her, about what he had asked her do to. She hadn't needed more than a minute to accept, as she was always willing to do something of this nature. Malice had explained to her that the task would be difficult, that it would require stealth, speed, strength, and overall skill and ability. He had warned her to be ready for the unexpected, as killing a man in a coma may seem like a simple task, but there really was nothing simple about it. Malice had told her to kill Cirus. To dispose of him once and for all.
These thoughts ran through Luna's mind as she followed her path to the infirmary. She had it all mapped out in her head. The quickest way to get there. The best way to stay unnoticed. Unseen. No one had noticed her yet, and it was going to stay that way. She smirked slightly to herself feeling the daggers rub against her legs. They were tucked out of sight in her converses, and her footsteps fell silent. She didn't look dangerous, but, then again, looks can be deceiving. As she walked, she tied her curls back so they wouldn't get in the way. No need to get unnecessarily messy for such a 'simple' task.
The word 'simple' was nagging her at the moment, as Malice's warning rang through her head. Would this task be as simple as it seemed? Or would there be unexpected challenges lying in wait for her? She truly hoped there would be challenges, something that would cause her to actually have to work and think to achieve her goal. Those types of challenges were the most rewarding. She grinned as she walked, the infirmary was within her sight now. She could see the outline of the building, it seemed to stand out in the night. She stayed hidden in the shadows, scanning the area. Were there any guards? Anything she needed to watch out for?
After scanning the area for people, guards, anything, she smirked, noticing there were only a few people there. Mere humans it seemed. They weren't even fully paying attention, as their attention seemed to be directed towards the Masquerade Ball. They all seemed to be lost in thought. She quietly continued in the shadows, then darted from the alleys she was hidden in to the side of the building. From there, she jumped up to the roof, swiftly, and with ease. Once up, she grinned, and searched for an entrance. Simply enough, she found a door. It was locked, but that wasn't a problem for her. She let her nails become claws and she picked the lock with one of her razor sharp claws, grinning the entire time. Once the door opened, she slipped it, closing it behind her without making a noise. The infirmary was silent, and the stairs were dark. She began to descend down them, keeping her senses alert for anything that may cause trouble. This seemed too easy...

Nila laughed when she was spinned by Shin. She was surprised when they started to move faster; upon arrival she said to him, "You are just full of surprises, aren't you? First your tail, then you flew, then you made these clothes, now I see you can move very quickly." Looking around, she was amazed at the amount of people there. She hesitated at his question. "Oh...b-but...I don't know how to dance." she said quietly, blushing.

Shin smiled at her hearing what she said about his powers. The he heard her say she does not know how to dance. He tapped her nose "Ah my dear that it what i am for just follow my lead" he said.He pulled her arm as they moved to where the others were dancing.Shin took her hand in his as he starts to spin her a bit then he stopped and pulled her body close to his and he moved around the floor. He would do a turn here and there he smiled as he looked into her eyes. You could see Shin's red eyes from inside his mask this would be the first time she has seen his eyes since he has had them covered the whole time.He spun her around again and when he stopped he was holding her back letting her hang a bit. Then he pulled her body back to his and he smiled at her. "So how was that my dear?" he asked stareing into her eyes with his.

"Okay." She did her best to follow along with what he did. When they were done, all she could say was, "That was fu-" Her blue eyes looked up at his, and she realized (his eyes are red). The fact that they were looking straight into hers made her feel a bit...afraid. "Your eyes..."

Liliana had asked one of the Was to leave one of her books with her so she could read it as she waited for the end of the ball to draw near. She smiled as she cracked it open, the old dusty smell that books get after a hundred years filling her nose. She enjoyed that smell, the smell of knowledge.
