Upon returning back to reality, the boy smiled, before looking back at Reaver. He then grabbed onto his hand, leading him away from the area and into an alley.

After a few minutes of criss-crossing and zig-zagging alleyways, the two finally reached the child's 'home': a blanket stretched across two crates, and another more ragged blanket on the bottom.
"I saw him over there." The boy said, standing in front of his bed as he pointed to an adjacent alley. "One minute I saw nothing, the next he was there. He stared at me for a while, and I felt uncomfortable. Then... Everything went black. Next thing I knew, I was waking up in your arms, mister."

The boy stared down at Reaver's hand, unsure if he should take it or not. Most adults treated him as he was, a street rat. But this one brought him out of the darkness, so... He was trustworthy...
". . .Where are we going?" He asked, slowly taking Reaver's hand.
