Two trembled in the Ace of Hearts' arms, blood leaking from is neck.

"A-Ace . . . H-Hearts," he gurgled, blood coming from his mouth as he began to stir.

"Keep quiet, Two," he whispered, lifting Two and carrying him bridal style. Ace of Hearts stepped away from the men that stood beside from him. "Move aside, ladies," he said, walking a good distance from them.

"There's a knife in your neck," Ace of Hearts said quietly to the Two, "I'll have to take you through the Looking Glass. Now that the Ace of Spades is here, he will be assigned a new mission by the Red King. We have no place here now."

Two gritted his bloody teeth, his blurred vision making out the figure of the Ace of Spades.

"N-No! H-He . . . almost . . . he's almost . . . dead . . ." he lifted a heavy arm in attempt to reach for the Heart's gun. "I can . . . finish . . . h-him."

Ace of Hearts seized Two's hand. "Stay still," he hissed. "You'll have your chance again. If you move anymore, you'll lose to much blood and die. Do you want to die?" Ace of Hearts peered behind him, knowing that an passage to Wonderland could be nearby. "If you are taken to a hospital here, the authority figures of this world will surely punish you. At least the Suits will see your actions as justified."

The Ace of Hearts turned, carrying the trembling and whining Two in his hands as he departed the bloody mess the Two of Spades had created.


"M-Marchy! It is you!" Ace said as loud as he could, hacking up blood right after.

"I get to go . . . to a hospital?" Ace said, cheerfully. "Wow! I . . . get to . . . see how the . . . medics here work! I hope . . . I can . . . get a new uniform."

Ace squinted his eyes, noticing the Ace of Hearts departing with the wounded Two. "Ace of . . . Hearts! Hey! Ace!" he said as loud as his weakened chest would allow. "Bring me . . . a clean uniform . . . in my size . . . if you return . . . this is disgusting . . ." Ace wheezed, still smiling as he rested his head. I'm not going to die yet; my existence still has a purpose.

Seriously, that made my day complete! ))

Marcie hoped in to the ambulance after the paramedics "I'm the one paying for the medical bills" She told them so that they would let her inside.

She just looked at Matt's unconscious body and kissed his forehead "Don't speak as if you are going to die silly, I love you too" She didn't really wraps the meaning of Matt's words she just through the boy was hallucinating, hadn't he screamed to her she was too old for his taste just the night before? she was analyzing this when she herd Ace of spades voice, was that guy serious?

"You won't be needing an uniform on the place we are going" Ace of spade would probably like the hospital, everything was clean and in order there after all, and if the guy could scream like that he might not be all that grave after all "And they'll get you clean in no time" she added just to put him at ease, this guy might also need a psychiatric for his OCD, it was just annoying "Have I told you how much I hate you?" She asked looking at Ace and sitting in between Matt's and Ace's stretchers.

The ambulance was on it's way to the hospital, the siren on and the beeping rang in her ears but it was just too quiet still.

Matt's body was limp. He didn't know that Marcie didn't take him seriously.

The ambulance reached the Mercy Hospital Clairmont in 10 minutes, it seemed like hours to Marcie though, the paramedics kept trying to soothe her by saying 'everything was going to be all right' and she just kept cursing in her mind, feeling hopeless and useless on there, she should have killed two instead of just threatening him, that guy better bleed himself to death.

The back door of the ambulance opens right in front of the rear E.R. entrance used by ambulance drivers, the paramedics take both stretcher in to the operating room, the room is too bright after the darkness of the ambulance, she knows they won't let her inside the operation room, still she goes as far as possible, she does not fancy a long stay on the waiting room, that would be awful, but if can't be helped, she'll see the boys when they are out of the operating room, she might just as well get started to the medical bills procedure so that she does not have to leave Matt's side when he regains consciousness.
