Sounds interesting, but check out my Crimson Lightning Bloodline. It isn't done yet, but here's what I have so far.

Shinkudenkou Clan

History
This Clan was originated in the Village Hidden in the Clouds by man who's unique Chakra allowed him to create Crimson Lightning. This man's name was Miharu Shinkudenkou. And by fusing together his Katon Chakra with his Raiton Chakra, he created a unique type of lightning and turned crimson and would explode into flames when it connected with something. He soon discovered that all lightning he produced would become Crimson and gain an explosive quality once he had trained enough.

Over the years, Miharu made a family that began to grow rapidly and every son and every daughter that was directly linked to Miharu had gained his unique Chakra. He had officially established a powerful Kekei Genkai, but this one had to be controlled. Miharu began to teach his level of control to all members of the Clan, but there were still those reckless few students who just wanted to blow things up. They ended up making a few mistakes and Miharu was struck in the heart by Crimson Lightning. Miharu died later that night and nobody was left to teach control.

Over the years, the Clan became dangerous and started to become a family of Mercenaries. As the year continued to progress, the family established a group that was like a mafia of sorts and they were extremely powerful. They became feared all throughout the Village Hidden in the Clouds and controlled most of the territory in the land around it.

Unique Traits/Special Info
• All lightning produced by clan members turns crimson and will cause things to burn if the lightning connects with it. •
• Must have Katon and Raiton Chakra Elements. •
• Can create crimson lightning around hands at any time. •
• All members are part of the Shinkudenkou Organization and are feared by most people. •
• Main Headquarters is in Village Hidden in the Clouds. •

Strengths
• All lightning and fire jutsu are +1 rank in power. •
• Handsigns are not needed for jutsu up to current rank. •
• Learning lightning or fire jutsus take 1 less post. (Stackable) •
• All lightning does shock damage and will things aflame. •
• At Chuunin rank, lightning becomes explosive. (Size varies) •

Weaknesses
• Any jutsu besides fire and lightning use the chakra cost of one rank higher than they are. •
• Any jutsu besides fire and lightning are weaker by one rank. •
• Cannot use Kai on any Genjutsu that is higher rank than you. •

Stage Progression
• Stage 1 - Academy Student: Must learn 3 lightning jutsu and 3 fire jutsu then practice molding fire chakra and lightning chakra together for 5 posts. •
• Stage 2 - Genin: Must learn all basic fire and lightning ninjutsu and train to form lightning around hands for 5 posts. •
• Stage 3 - Chuunin: Must learn 5 more fire and lightning ninjutsu and then train in making lightning explosive for 5 posts. •
• Stage 4 - Chuunin: Must learn all fire and lightning ninjutsu up to current rank and practice making lightning even more explosive for 10 posts. •
