Man, that's like the time I almost rang the wrong doorbell at like 9 pm, because this one house looked exactly the same as my friend's in the dark.
My gut feeling wouldn't let me ring the doorbell, and I lingered on the driveway so long people must have started getting suspicious.

Yeah, seeing that would be weird but if I saw you I wouldn't have thought you were up to something though.

All I can think is thank goodness I didn't ring that doorbell emotion_facepalm I felt like such a stalker, since I could see into their living room. But it was because it didn't look like my friend's house that I hesitated.

I would have thought being able to see the interior would have given it away.

I know, but the house looked exactly the same from the outside in the dark, and I only knew the first two numbers of the house number. orz
Hey, at least I wasn't the first to make that mistake :'D

Weird, that's what I hate about modern housing. The exteriors tend to look the same an the interiors also have the same floor plans.

I guess creativity is only exercised so far when it comes to constructing subdivisions.
I'm currently torn at how much I'm enjoying the Kindle app right now.

Yeah, it's hard to be unique when you have to make thousands of houses.
What are the pros and cons?

Well, you pretty much have thousands of books at your fingertips, and it's so easy to just keep on reading book after book with a tap and a swipe. I think if only there were some kind of library feature where you could check out books for free, it'd be an even bigger hit. The problem is that I still like feeling the heft of an actual book.

I usually just read the free books and then go out and buy the ones I want. I don't think a renting system will ever work for books because they'll be easier to pirate or something like that.
I like physically turning the pages and hearing the sound.

Well, isn't it possible that since it's free, less people would pirate? I mean, I've never heard of people stealing books from the library being an actual problem.
Books just feel and sound better.

I was thinking on the basis similar the way you can rent movies online. It just doesn't seem very practical for the digital distributors if commercial books were available for free.

/had no idea you could rent movies online.
Well, maybe if you paid some kind of membership fee, though I guess that defeats the purpose of "free."

That would be similar to the way netflix works. Maybe someone will do that someday, it's not too bad of an idea.

Haha, maybe. Maybe someone'll do the book version of redbox too, that'd be interesting. A vending machine that offers books :p
