Sora rolled his eyes sarcastically as Kairi said that she couldn’t let him down. She would never let him down. There really wasn’t a thing in the worlds that she could do that would let him down. Even if she had rejected him, it wouldn’t have really hurt him for long. They could’ve still been friends, and he would’ve been happy as long as she was happy. But now that they were officially a couple, the idea killed him inside, so he refused to think about it. He was just so happy, and so was Kairi, so things were meant to be this way. He watched as she went off through the crowd. He kept a close eye on her, knowing it would be easy to lose her in the group of people giving out candy. From the way she was headed, it looked like she was going to spook more than just a couple people.

Sora followed the crimsonette with his eyes as she reached the back of the group. She had something in her hand, but he really couldn’t tell what it was. He took a couple steps forward to get a better look. By this time, Kairi had summoned up her Keyblade. She fired off some spells, and he felt a cool breeze brush past him. He smirked when everyone began looking around for the source. She was doing well so far, setting everyone up. However, as he’d looked around for the others’ reactions, he didn’t see Kairi move. So when he didn’t see her in the spot he’d left her, he was surprised. He couldn’t seem to find her at first, then there was lightning and an explosion. A pumpkin-headed Kairi jumped out and roared at everyone, making them spin around, jumping and howling in fear. Sora even jumped a little. Then everyone started laughing and clapping. They were throwing candy like roses, so the brunette quickly made his way to his girlfriend’s side and helped her pick up the treats.
”That was so incredible, Kairi!” he exclaimed. ”You scared everyone within twenty feet of us! Awesome! We’ve got so much candy!” He let out a gleeful laugh and continued to scoop up candy next to her.

Kairi's roar was answered by howls of fear, then laughing and clapping. The Princess set the jack'o lantern back on the ground and joined in the laughter. The citizens were throwing candy like they'd throw flowers to a performer. The crimsonette smiled and quickly bent down to pick up the sweet treats. Sora appeared at her side and helped her scoop up the candy. Kairi grinned happily as Sora exclaimed that what she did was incredible, that she had scared everyone within twenty feet of them. "You think so? Thanks Sora! Wow really? That far? No way! Well I have an awesome scare teacher to thank for that! I wouldn't have been able to do that without you Sora!" The Princess then giggled as the brunette let out a gleeful laugh, noting how much candy they got. She smiled and laughed, "I told you I'd make sure we got lots of candy!"

We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

Sora nodded as Kairi asked if she’d really scared people so much. It was true, everyone he could see was tossing candy at them. He was really proud of Kairi. It was far spookier what she’d done as opposed to himself. But his usual competitive nature didn’t make an appearance. He was just happy that Kairi had done so well. She then thanked her scare teacher, which he guessed was supposed to be himself. That was confirmed when she thanked him directly. A light blush crossed his cheeks before disappearing again. He was getting better at controlling that reflex.
”Are you kidding?” he replied, smirking. ”That was way better than anything I’ve ever done. That’s Jack Skellington good, I’m telling you! But… you’re welcome.” He picked up another couple pieces of candy and then brought himself up to his full height. He reached down and helped Kairi straighten out as well.

The crimsonette made a comment about how she’d told Sora that they’d get a lot of candy. He laughed and nodded.
”Yeah, I’ll say,” he answered. ”I think we have enough to last us until next year, all thanks to you of course!” He stuffed the candy that he had in his hands into his pockets and waited for Kairi to do the same. Once she had, he returned his arm to around her waist, where things felt the most natural. He thanked the townsfolk for their candy and they thanked Kairi for her terrifying display. One person called it horrible, which Sora was afraid Kairi would think was an insult. Of course, that was just one way that people in Halloween Town gave compliments. Still, he was sure she’d get it, and if not, he’d explain it to her. He led her off away from the crowd to the edge of town. He looked down at her, still beaming.
”So, now what?” he asked. ”We could go exploring, or find someone else… You know, whatever you want to do.” He was happy doing anything as long as Kairi was there with him.

Kairi blushed a little when Sora told her that what she had done was way better than anything he'd ever done, that it had been Jack Skellington good. "I don't know about that, but thank you!" the crimsonette smiled shyly. After picking up a couple more pieces of candy Sora stood up, then reached down and helped the red head up as well. "Thanks," the Princess grinned, brushing her dress off.

When Kairi had mentioned the candy Sora said that they'd have enough to last them until next year, all thanks to her. The crismonette laughed, "Hee hee. You're welcome!" The brunette stuffed the candy he had away into his pockets, and the red head stuffed hers into her pouch. Once she had Sora returned his arm around her waist, and Kairi slipped her arm around his waist as well. The couple thanked the townsfolk for the sweets, and they in return thanked Kairi for the act of terror. One of them said it was horrible, and the crimsonette was confused for a moment. She then remembered the poem the Keybearer had read in the lab and how it had been different from what they might have said. So she figured that horrible must have been a compliment here. She thank them as Sora led her off from the crowd and towards the edge of town. Sora looked down, beaming at her, and Kairi beamed back. He asked her now what, saying they could go exploring, find someone else, whatever she wanted to do. "Hmm...," Kairi put her hand on her chin in thought, "Well in all honesty I have no idea what I want to do." She giggle then smiled, "I don't really care what we do though. As long as I'm with you I'm happy." She leaned closer to Sora as she said that. The Princess then thought again and suggested some things as well. "We could find a nice place to sit, and eat candy and talk? Or maybe we can find Zero and play with him? Exploring sounds fun like you said so maybe we should do that? Haha so many options, it's hard to choose!"

Sora was relieved when Kairi took the horrible compliment as what it was. One less thing he had to explain. So he just kept leading her away. Finally, she answered his question once the others had stopped praising her. She said she really didn’t know, which was how he kind of felt too. But she mentioned talking and eating candy. That sounded like a good idea. Then she mentioned Zero, and he knew how much she liked the dog. And then exploring sounded like a good idea too. He laughed with her as she admitted there were a lot of options.
”Well, how about we do a little bit of everything?” he suggested. ”We can go exploring, looking for a place to sit and talk with our candy, and Zero can come with us!”

The brunette turned away from Kairi briefly and whistled. A couple yards away, Zero pricked his ears up and looked around. He found the source of the whistle and barked happily before floating over to Sora. Knowing that Jack had Sally now, the ghost dog concluded that he wouldn’t be needed for a while. He flew over to Kairi and licked her face. Sora grinned and started to lead her off again, with Zero following close behind.
”Got any interesting places to show us, Zero?” the Keyblade Master asked the dog. He yipped happily and sped in front of the pair towards the graveyard. Not knowing exactly what he had in mind, Sora followed. He didn’t know all of the places in Halloween Town, so he hoped the dog would show him a place he’d never been.

After hearing Kairi's ideas as well Sora suggested that they do a little bit of everything. They could go exploring, look for a place to sit and talk with their candy, and Zero could come with them. Kairi smiled brightly and replied, "Ooh yes! Good idea! I'd like that very much!"

The crimsonette watched as Sora turned away for a moment and whistled. A few seconds later there was a excited bark and Zero floated over to the brunette. The ghost dog then flew over to Kairi and licked her face. The Princess smiled happily then giggled, "Hi Zero! Hey! Hee hee that tickles!" The Keybearer smiled as well then stared leading the red head again, Zero right behind them. When Sora asked the dog if he had any interesting places to show them, he yipped happily and sped in front of the couple towards the graveyard. The pair followed, and Kairi mused out loud, "I wonder where he's leading us?"

Zero led them through the graveyard to Curly Hill. The dog barked, beckoning them forward towards one side of the the wall. Kairi looked ahead and saw what the ghost was signaling to. In the wall before them was a small door. "You want us to go through here?" Kairi asked Zero curiously. Zero did a flip and yipped. "I'll take that as a yes," the Princess laughed.

Sora followed Zero and kept Kairi close, just in case someone decided to pop out and scare them. No one did, so that was a bit of a relief. The ghost dog led them to Curly Hill and led them to one of the rock walls. The wall he’d chosen had a small door in it, big enough for the two of them to fit through. Kairi asked Zero if he wanted them to go inside, to which the dog barked and flipped. Sora smiled.
”Okay, then,” he told him. ”I’ll go first, make sure it’s safe and all.” He smiled at this and released Kairi. He bent over and looked through the door, curious as to how where it led. But he'd find out soon enough, so he just went through.

The door in the wall had led to a separate graveyard that Sora’d never seen before. Still, it felt familiar, so he had to guess that maybe Roxas had been here before. He was rather surprised he’d never noticed the door in the wall before, but he’d been pretty busy doing other things the last time he was in Halloween Town, so he didn’t suppose it was impossible. He turned back to the hole and cupped a hand around his mouth.
”Looks clear to me!” he called, then leaned up against the wall away from the door so Kairi and Zero could get through. The ghost dog just phased through the actual wall and appeared next to Sora, making him laugh. This place looked secluded and private; a good place for him and the crimsonette to talk and enjoy themselves.

Sora smiled at the dog's response, then said he'd go in first to make sure it was safe. "Be careful," Kairi said as the brunette released her and he went through. She didn't want any harm coming to her boyfriend.

The Princess waited, and after a moment she let out as sigh of relief as she heard Sora call saying it was clear. The crimsonette watched and laughed as Zero just floated through the wall, then climbed through herself. A second later she found herself next to Sora and Zero in a small separate graveyard. It was secluded and quiet, far from the noise of the party in town. Kairi smiled and said, "This seems like a good place."

Skyler followed Sora and Kairi. She hid near the side of the hill careful not to be seen.

It took a moment, but Kairi soon joined Sora on the other side of the wall. He smiled at her as she told him this seemed like a good place. He nodded in agreement and took another look around. It was a little creepy, since it was a graveyard and all, but nothing too terribly terrifying. So the brunette pulled himself from the wall and took Kairi’s hand. He walked over to a spot where there weren’t too many headstones, just one short, long one that kind of looked like a bench. He sat down on it and patted the spot next to him to invite Kairi to sit there.
”I hope this isn’t disrespectful or anything…” he muttered. ”Well, all the dead’s living here, so I guess it really doesn’t matter.” He smirked at the crimsonette, hoping he hadn’t freaked her out by saying this.

After a bit, Zero grew bored and started flying around in circles around the two, pretty much begging to play. Sora chuckled lightly and looked around. There was a stick laying next to the spot he was located, so he bent over and picked it up. He shook it around for the ghost dog, who panted happily and barked a couple times.
”You want the stick?” he asked. Zero barked. ”Okay, then, go get it!” He threw it across the graveyard, and the dog sped after it. He returned with it in his mouth a second later, which slightly baffled the brunette. How could a ghost carry something solid? He didn’t dwell on it and threw it for him again. The process repeated itself a couple times, then Sora decided to give Kairi the stick.
”You give it a try,” he encouraged her. He watched them for a bit, falling back into his own thoughts. He wondered what the others were up to. He hadn’t seen much of them since they left the manor’s remains. He hoped they were okay. Everything felt alright on Roxas’s end… for now. Then, Sora thought he heard something. It sounded like a hiss. He jumped ever so slightly and turned while sitting to see if he could find where it came from. There was nothing there.
”Did you hear that?” he asked warily. He really hoped it wasn’t a Heartless or some other enemy like that.

Sora nodded in agreement to Kairi's comment. Since it was a graveyard, the Princess found it a little creepy, but as Sora had said before this whole world was like a graveyard, so she didn't worry too much. The brunette walked over to a spot where there weren’t too many headstones, just one short, long one that kind of looked like a bench. He sat down on it and patted the spot next to it, motioning for Kairi to sit. The crimsonette sat down next to him and smiled. She then heard Sora say that he hoped that this wasn't disrespectful, saying all the dead’s living here so it really didn’t matter. The red head gave a nervous laugh and said, "Yeah that's true." Knowing that made her glad that there weren't any dead people under them now, but still the thought of living dead was a little scary

Kairi didn't linger on that thought long though as Zero grew bored and began flying around in circles around the couple, obviously wanting to play. Sora laughed, looked around, found a stick, and started playing fetch with the dog. The Princess watched and giggled as Zero barked happily and sped after the stick. After throwing the stick a couple times the Keybearer handed it to Kairi, encouraging her to give it a try. "Okay," the red head said with a smile as she took the stick. She got up and stood before Zero. "Go get it boy!" she shouted as she threw the stick for Zero. The ghost dog flew after it and in no time at all returned it to Kairi. The crimsonette then picked it up and threw it again.

As she threw the stick for the sixth time Kairi heard a strange sound. She turned around, expecting Sora to scare her or something. But the brunette was looking around too. He then asked warily if she had heard that. "Yes I did," the Princess frowned, "Do you think someone is trying to scare us? Or maybe it's a Heartless?" The red head hear the hiss again. By now Zero had returned with the stick and was growling. If Zero was growling, then Kairi knew that it wasn't something good. Worried the Princess moved closer to Sora. Right after she did that the ground rumbled and the wall opposite them exploded, causing dust and ruble to fly everywhere. "Aaah!" Kairi screamed. When the dust settled the crimsonette looked up and gasped. There before her was a Heartless team. One of them was small and skinner, it's parnter large and fat. "What is that thing?!!" Kairi yelled summoning her Keyblade.

Sora grew concerned when Kairi admitted she’d heard the sound too. He stood up quickly, looking around. She asked if he thought it was someone trying to scare them or if it was a Heartless.
”I hope it’s just a spooker,” he told her, trying to keep her calm. ”Riku, it’s not funny! Come out!” He shouted this, hoping that it would in fact be Riku, or someone else like that. But no, there was no laugh or reply. A couple moments later, the wall opposite them exploded. Sora pulled Kairi behind him and raised his arm to block the flying debris. Nothing hit them, luckily, but the dust blocked their view for a moment. Completely on guard now, the brunette opened his right hand and the Kingdom Key flashed into his palm.

After the dust cleared, two Heartless revealed themselves. Sora gritted his teeth and fell into his fighting stance. Kairi asked him what they were as she summoned her Keyblade as well. He racked his mind, but he was pretty sure he’d never seen this kind of Heartless before. He didn’t know a thing about it, which was a disadvantage in this case.
”I dunno, so stay alert,” he told her quickly, his eyes not wavering from the beasts. The smaller one was connected to the larger by a chain. That meant that there was no chance of them separating, which would have made them had to fight alone. It was good and bad, because it would make things more difficult, but at least Sora and Kairi wouldn’t have to fight one on their own. At first the brunette thought he’d let it make the first move, but then decided it was too risky, so he moved in first. He charged forward, raising his Keyblade up and bringing it down on the smaller one. He had to figure out which one was the leader, and then he could figure out a strategy to defeat the monster. He just hoped Kairi would stay safe.

Naminé
Miss Memory Witch

User Image

Roxas had told her that it was no problem and when she hugged him, she felt him stiffen in surprise for a moment but then he wrapped his arms around her in return. Naminé had let her eyes close surprised at how natural it felt to be held in Roxas' arms. But at the same time, there was a large part of her that yearned for other arms to be wrapped around her. Arms that belonged to a strong, silver haired teen. Riku. But it wans't Riku who was holding her right now. But Roxas. And... and she didn't mind it at all.

Suddenly, she felt Roxas turn his head slightly and she felt his lips brush against her forehead. Her eyes slide closed once more and a blush formed on her face. She expected him to pull back and apologize like she figured he normally would, but he didn't. Naminé's eyes opened and she shifted back, still in his embrace but she tilted her head back so she could look up at him. "R-Roxas?" She stammered out his name, more of a question than anything else. There was a fluttery feeling in her stomach but she didn't act on it. She couldn't hurt Riku like that. She wouldn't. Besides, Roxas was her best friend. Naminé was working so hard on denying the truth. Denying that she did love Roxas, just like she loved Riku.

"Got it," Kairi nodded as Sora quickly told her didn't know what kind of Heartless this was so they needed to stay alert. The crimsonette's eyes narrowed as she watched, waiting to see what it would do. The Princess noticed that the larger one was holding the smaller one by a chain, meaning they were connected. That meant that Sora and Kairi fight them together, and not have to fight one on one. The Keybearer was the expert on Heartless here, having more experience with them, so the red head decided she'd follow his lead. She waited for either the Heartless or the brunette to make the first move. It was Sora who did. He charged forward, raising his Keyblade he did so, and brought it down upon the smaller one. Since he had attacked the smaller one, Kairi first supported his attack by casting Thunder on the small one, then dashed forward and slashed at the larger one with her Keyblade.

Sally smiled. Apparently, she'd said the right thing to Jack, though all she'd spoken was the truth. The rag doll gazed up at the Pumpkin King as he told her that he'd need her help as well. Surprise flit across her features, soon changing to one of shy delight. Jack wanted her to help with next year's Halloween! He wanted her to design and create the outfits for the Faery's to wear! Sally beamed up at the skeleton. Working with Jack... it'd be a perfect way for her to spend time with him. "I'd love to help, Jack. The outfits I design for the Feary will be absolutely horrifying!" She promised him. Sally was no amateur when it came to needles and thread. Seeing as how she had to constantly sew her own limbs back together, she was quite the seamtress.

The rag doll smiled softly when Jack frowned a bit at her suggesstion to start work tomorrow but he didn't tell her no. Instead he took his hand in hers and the rag doll smiled up at him. Jack instructed her to grab hold of Mildred's hand and she turned to look at the girl beside her, smiling reassuringly and holding out her hand. The girl took it and Jack asked them who they should scare, using the Transpooker. Mildred decided, pointing to a familiar figure; his spiky hair sticking up all over the place. Sally's eyes widened and she nodded. "Mildred's right, those two." She said. Really, all she wanted now was to see Sora again and the Transpooker would be the best way to cover the stretch of distance that lay between them. However, before Jack could do anything, Sally saw the ground shoot up in front of Sora and Kairi, far off in the distance and two creatures came out. Sally's eyes widened and she looked up at Jack, figuring that wasn't part of his plan as Sora was attacking the thing. "Jack! We've got to get to help Sora!" Sally said, her tone a bit frantic.
