Kai dodged most of the blasts, but the last few hit when Shina distracted him and he got knocked down, now bleeding a bit from his shoulder. He glanced at Shina, then threw a handful of blood at her that turned into small blades.

Shina stood there looking rather shocked that Kai was attacking her--she had thought they were friends.. And it was clear what she was thinking just before the small blades hit her.. Her eyes showed complete shock.. Though the blades had cut her arms and legs good, she continued to stand there looking completely surprised and a bit betrayed by a friend..

Kai had a mostly blank expression, he had attacked as a reaction but now the he saw who he attacked he twitched slightly and looked away. The blood he used to attack her with came back toward him, but first healed the wounds he inflected.

Meanwhile, Wander was watching from a safe distance, Celosia at his side as his personal pet. "Well, this is getting to become a heated debate. I'm just wondering if they have any idea of what's in store to come?" He asked as he looked to Celosia. "No, I didn't think so either."

"Don't get soft on me in the middle of a battle Kai!" Debido said before leaping over the entangled Kuroi. He was about to thrust the blade into Kuroi's back but, remembering his unique metallic ability, pointed the blade at the nearby Shina. "Alright then Mr. Prince. Surrender and die quickly or your lover dies!"
Kuroi's eyes widened and began to panic. He attempted to struggle, but he was helpless. He glanced at Shina, and figured if he gave up she would be safe. "....fine do your worst."
Debido chuckled with victory, tail flicking back and forth with the exictement. "I'll let you do the honors?" Debido said, sheithing his blade as he glanced at Kai. ((sorry my bro's rarely off the comp, so my time is limited))

Shina began to glow slightly before any wounds had been inflicted on Kuroi, her eyes flashed a ghostly bluish white color. The change was barely noticeable, but for those who did notice would also notice that Shina's spirit was surfacing. Though Shina had no idea that this was happening, she was more or less shocked at what was befalling them.

Kai looked at Debido, then Kuroi..he flinched as another memory flitted to his thoughts..a moment later he narrowed his empty eyes as he looked at Kuroi. "...royals....it's all because of damn royalty.." he sighed and ran over, grabbing one of his blood swords and aiming is toward the center of Kuroi's chest.

Debido's eyes widened as he watched with enjoyment, baring his fangs a little from his grin.
Kuroi closed his eyes and braced himself.

Just as Kai's blade was about to collide with Kuroi's chest, Shina fell backwards unconcious as the spirit of her soul jumped inbetween the two, taking the hit to her soul. "If death shall solve something than apart of This One shall die in exchange.. This One wishes to see no more deaths of those who are close to her. Nor does she wish to see friends fight against eachother.." With that she began to bleed, but as a spirit her blood looked more like a sparkly clear water.. "If you must kill... Kill only This One's Spirit.. As with time, This One's Spirit may be reborn..."

Debido's exictement faded in an instant. "Ugh this girl....how any times does she have to get in the way?" His elemental gem began to glow.
"Shina!" Kuroi shouted. Suddenly his body became metal and spikes shot out of his skin, slicing the tendrils of water. He then punched Kai away from Shina's spirit, making the blade be removed from it.

Kai was surprised when Shina's spirit shielded Kuroi, he staggered back when Kuroi punched him, the blood sword he used liquefied and returned to his body while the blood swords that were left circled him defensively. He glanced at Shina's spirit "...things like me....don't have friends.."

Shina's bleeding spirit, appeared to sheild not only Kuroi but also Kai, keeping them both somewhat at bay. She looked at Kai, This One sees you as a friend.. This One hopes that it is not one sided. This One's Spirit is willing to die to keep her friends from killing each other..

Kai's gaze fell to the wound he inflected....he had unconsciously hit the exact spot where his first love was stabbed....she too had used her body as a shield. He looked at the ground, trying to sort out his thoughts.

Debido's glared and clentched his fist. Kuroi had learned away out of his only advantage, and he wouldn't be able to deal any damage against that metal body. "Damn it! Kai, I'm heading back to camp, you coming?" he said, looking at Kai, staying afar as to not draw near to Kuroi.
Kuroi remained silent for a while. He suddenly realized something. "Wait!.....why are you all attacking me? What have I done?"
Debido stared at him. "At first it started out......Melody wanted revenge for your kingdom killing off hers. But when push came to shove, and an eye for an eye, we're now enemies.....remember that." he said as he transformed and headed back the way he came, going a little slower for Kai to catch up.
Kuroi sighed. "Damn father of mine........."

Kai glanced at Debido left, then looked over at Kuroi. "...I was the first created in a plan to replace princes...while I may not be your replacement..I am still a weapon against royalty.." he glanced at Shina, then back at Kuroi before he turned and to follow Debido.
