Sai laughed to silently to himself, watching her fluster. However, since he saw her flinch, and the sudden cling to his shirt, he moved over to her, and put a hand on her shoulder, not wanting to hug her knowing she'd feel uncomfortable. He shook his head, "No problem, don't worry. I'm glad I caught you in time, though. You would seriously be hurt had I not. The bigger question is are you okay?" he asked softly, looking at her, although she had, at first, avoided his.

Kaori nodded slowly, staring at her hands. "I... feel asleep," she murmured as if the thought had suddenly dawned on her. "Dreaming..." She quickly shook her head to clear it before continuing. "But I'm fine, thank you..." She smiled towards him, despite her face still being red. She had also happily discovered she didn't flinch when he touched her, like she usually would have. I'm getting used to someone, she thought to herself.

He smiled. "Good," he said softly, "I'm glad you're okay, Kaori-chan." He thought for a moment. "I hope this doesn't sound rude, but are you sure it was a dream? I mean, you seemed kind of... distressed," he said, his eyes soft and full of concern

Kaori sighed and nodded slowly. "My dreams are... very realistic," she said softly. "They always have been and I really hate it. They never seem to be good either. I always wish for nights with no dreams, but so much has happened today... I hadn't even realized I fell asleep." She frowned, one hand grasping the necklace she wore, a dragon of black stone that had been hidden beneath her shirt. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and then looked back at him. "But, I'm fine now. So thank you..." she murmured faintly.

"No problem. If there ever is something bothering you though, I'm hear... just remember that, okay?"
He hesitated, before looking away, and focusing on the grass. "That's a nice necklace," he smiled, although he wasn't looking at her anymore. "where'd you get it?"

Kaori nodded, smiling faintly. "Thank you," she said again as she bowed her head slightly. "I will." At his question, her grip around the stone tightened, and then she lifted it so she could see better, and he if he wanted to look. "It was... my mother's," Kaori nodded, a soft smile coming over her face. "She said it had some sort of power, but I haven't figured out what it is yet." She looked over at the patch of grass he was watching, trying to see if something was happening that she wouldn't want to miss.

He looked up at her. "I'm sure you'll find out what power it holds," he said gently, "just don't give up or throw it away," he said, knowing she knew that already. He saw her looking at the spot of grass he'd been looking at. "There's nothing interesting," he laughed, "if there was, i woulda told you to watch with me," he smiled.

Kaori nodded at his words. "Yeah..." she murmured, peering more closely at the necklace before letting it drop down. Then she tucked it safely back under her shirt and glanced back up at him as he spoke again. "Ah, ok..." she said softly, cheeks turning pink again that she'd been caught looking, though she hadn't tried to hide it very well either. She frowned and rubbed at her face in a strange attempt to return it to the normal pale. After a moment, she stopped and laughed at herself.
[Yep, special attention for the grass.]

He looked at her, a little confused. "Why... are you laughing?" he asked, curious. "Do i look that funny?" he joked. "Or, have i made you embarrassed?" he asked, hoping he hadn't.

She stifled her laughter with a hand until it finally ceased. Then she looked towards him, still smiling. "No, it's not you," she grinned. "I'm just laughing at myself, thinking of how I do get embarassed so easily. Ah! But it's not your fault!" she added hastily. Then she paused to adjust the sword on her back so she could sit more comfortably.

He smiled. "Well, I'm glad to hear you don't think I look funny," he winkied. "What did you get embarrassed over?" he asked slyly befor laughing. He suddenly remembered something from long long ago; a moment that had been similar to this, just it had been a different two people, and he stood to the side, invisible, watching in interest. funny.. it seems almost the exact same... he trailed off

Kaori smiled faintly, shaking her head. "Nothing," she murmured as she stared up towards the tree she'd fallen from. Then she sighed, turning back towards Sai. She tilted her head as she watched him, thinking perhaps that he might be thinking about something as well. She didn't ask though, and instead just sat watching him curiously.

He laughed, teasingly, "I don't think you can get embarrassed over nothing," he winked. He saw her looking at her, and thought for a moment, before brushing an idea away. I don't think I can... it's too early, he sighed as he thought, then looked up at her. "What are you thinking about?" he asked, knowing she was thinking about something else too.

He smiled to himself. "Are you sure you're not thinking about anything?" he asked, starting to blush slightly. I really should ask... he thought, building up the courage. He breathed in before looking at the ground. "Kaori-chan.. I know it's only been at least a day that we've known each other.. but I was wondering..." he said, growing a little more embarasses- this was his first time ever asking someone out, even in the midevil times- "but willyoubemygirlfriend?" he asked, accidentally jumbling the words slightly from nerves.
