Ryugi continued to drop as Ira continued to p***y-foot around and play with the heat and light of the void. Once more Ryugi's breath turned into a cloud as the temperature dropped, but he could still see thanks to his excellent vision. He continued to pull in more energy, placing it in a new place for safe keeping, as other areas were already full...(11)
What the hell is he waiting for? An engraved invitation. He MUST know that anything he tries to do from way up there won't do anything to me, so what's he doing with all that energy?
Ryugi had plenty of time before he hit the ground since the void was such a massive place, but he was beginning to get bored of his opponent who claimed superiority, but simply floated in the air far far above him, and gathered energy.

((I think this should do it for tonight. It's dinner time, but don't worry I am finished gathering up energy after this. Ah the dramatic cliff hanger)) I'ra finished gathering up all of the heat and light in the void, and he started to glow, but yet he wasn't releasing any energy what so ever. His wings vanished and he fell at ever increasing speed until he couldn't any faster then his wings came back slowed down his fall then disapeared again as he tried to attack Ryugi from close range with a rapid onslaught of powerful punches, as he was about to fall on him from above. This was exactly what Ryugi had been waiting for. Ira was going to be hurting. As the man dove towards Ryugi, he gained a little something called momentum. This momentum resulted in Ira's body gaining more and more inertia, or the resistance to being moved from it's current course. Ira's immense speed gave his body an immense ammount of inertia. Newton's first law of Motion. "An object at rest tends to stay at rest, and an object in motion tends to stay in motion, unless acted apon by an outside force." This meant that Ira had better be totally and completely confident that his attack was going to hit Ryugi, because if it didn't he wouldn't be able to apply enough force to change his current direction or speed. And, much to Ira's dislike, his attack would not hit Ryugi.
You see Ira's dive took quite a bit of time, meaning Ryugi had lots of it to plan what he was going to do. And since Ira had taken SO much time gathering energy and talking, Ryugi had more than enough time to come up with a way to avoid whatever it was that Ira threw at him. As the man dove, Ryugi had prepared for his next course of action. An instant before Ira was to make contact with him, Ryugi pulsed energy into his legs and jumped away, causing Ira to slam into the piece of falling debris, no doubt doing serious damage to him. The piece of debris would shatter into thousands of tiny pieces that would possibly blind Ira once they got in his eyes, or if he avoided that, they would act as cover for Ryugi as he moved away, blocking him from view as he prepared.
As Ryugi moved up and away from Ira, his hands would move foreward energy clammoring to reach his arms as he piled ten turns of charge into this attack. All that time and energy was piled into a small energy ball about the size of a softball. The ball of energy would fire away from Ryugi's hands at the astounding speed of 60 feet per second. He wasn't even twenty feet away when he released the blast, meaning it would collide with Ira in 1/3rd of a second. Now, the normal reaction time for a well trained human being is 1/4th of a second, meaning that the blast would hit before the person could even react to it. However, even if Ira was able to react to the attack, there was no way he'd be able to move his body fast enough and in time to avoid it.
As the ball moved towards Ira, it would near him, and then explode in a massive detonation, simply vaporizing any rocky bits that remained around Ira. The blast would be strong enough to burn Ira's skin so badly that parts of it would char black, and other parts would blister and dry, cracking if he were to move. And if Ira didn't get burned, the force from the blast alone would cause the skin to ripple so badly that it would tear and bleed, not to mention cause Ira to most likely go flying through the air to crash into one of the hundreds of platforms in the area. And THAT would hurt.
As for Ryugi, he wasn't spared some of the effects of the blast, since he was so close himself. As soon as he'd fired the blast, he had moved Ragnarok to a blocking position in front of him, and as the blast exploded, the sword took a majority of the hit for Ryugi, sending him flying up and away from where he'd blasted Ira. He'd continue to fly into the air for a while until he found a decent place to fry and aim himself for.

Winget Festus could of sworn she heard her brain explode. However, with the lack of brain goup around her... obviously luck wasn't on her side today. No, she must continue to stand here and hope. Sooner or later, she'll find a way out. I just want to get out of here... out of this place!Oh! ::Maximos said, thwacking his forehead. How could he be so stupid as to not realize something so simple!:: If thats what you wanted you should have just said so! ::Maximos exclaimed as he laughed off this most laughable situation. And infact it was laughable, pfft, all she wanted to do was leave. And that so very simple to do. Just leaving. Ha ha! If she had just asked he would have told her, just what he was telling her now. Even as laughed, with all sincerety on his face.:: You cant! We're stuck! ::And he laughed a bit more.::

...
Twice in one day she was struck speechless. Not only that however. No, now her body became rigid, and tense. She was stuck? Stuck in this god forsaken land! Stuck with a man that was slowly driving her to the brink of insanity!?
This could not be possible... no it was IMPOSSIBLE! She refused to believe such a lie.
With in the storm of frustration. Festus swerved and began to storm off into a random direction. Her hands clenched, eyes determined, and her tail swaying back and forth. In that rigid and twitchy like motion.

Ira quicky and threw his sword into the ball there by and watched the explosion that resulted from the impact from afar. Ira survived with a some scratches as most of his body was incased in armor and he had faded his wings in and out of existence. This armor was made to be resist explosions, and other forms of attacks Ira would use, so they didn't accidently backfire. The asorbed heat and light strangly seemed to be strengthing his body, so that's why the bleeding was reduced to mere scratches. Ira waited for the man to attack again, hoping he would be out of energy. ((This is it the final attack.))

Ira would be quite far away by now, and he would land feet first on a higher platform, Ragnarok digging into the rocky surface to stop him from skidding. He'd pulled in a little more energy since he'd soared through the air, and he'd gathered a little more from the resulting explosion. (4)
Damn... I hope that did some damage. I don't know how many more of those I can pull off.

That kid's not bad, but luckily I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. I am already at maximum, but this might come in handy later. Sol gate
A dimmisional rift appeared and through it lied what looked like Gaia's sun. Ira flew straight at Ryugi at 80 MPH.

(5) Ryugi pulled Ragnarok into an attacking pose, and stood there, ready to attack. He'd had enough of this man's bullshit. It was time to get down to business. Even at 80mph, it would still take him a while to reach Ryugi, so Ryugi had time to plan...

Ira started accelerating to 120 MPH and continued to fly towards Ryugi, and would attack with his sword, when he was in range.

Akira Mercuraki Ira was in range now and slashed horizontaly while aiming to cut through Ryugi's gut from his left side. (7) But he would do no such thing. Ragnarok was not the largest sword in the world, or the most powerful, or the longest, however, it measured four and a half feet long from tip to tip. When outstretched to its maximum distance with Ryugi's arms, it would be more than enough to out-range Ira's sword, and give Ryugi a clear stabbing shot at the man. But WAIT. Ira was wearing ARMOR. No matter. Armor was made of metal, and all metal could melt at the right temperature. Even magically tempered and heat resistant steel would melt under high enough degrees. As Ira moved in, Ryugi forced all the energy in his body to the most extreme tip of Ragnarok, which cause the metal to heat instantly to thousands of degrees as the energy hovered mere milimeters away from the outside edge of the sword. This gave the tip of the sword a laser-like quality, similar to say...a lightsaber. Now, only the tip and part of the top of the blade had this extreme cutting power. But that was all Ryugi would need. The cutting tip would melt and break through Ira's armor like it was tissue paper, and the immense speed and force from Ryugi stabbing and Ira speeding into the weapon would do the rest. The stabbing and cutting power would push through Ira's body even easier than the armor, and go through all the way to the other side as Ryugi braced for the impact. Ira's slash would fall short of it's target, as Ragnarok used its superior reach to overtake it. As soon as the strike had been made, Ryugi pulled the energy back along the blade to his body, the heat cauterizing the massive wound he would have made in Ira. That way the man wouldn't bleed to death, he would, however have a rather large sword-shaped hole in his body if Ryugi pulled the sword out. Ryugi glared at Ira and spoke, still formulating his next attack. One blast is all it would take, and you'd be in pieces. It's your decision if you decide to continue this fight.

::Maximos continued laughing, again this was rather funny...until he saw her start to walk away and realized it must not have been a good joke to her. Her anger with the situation was protested in everything from her silence to her body language, and Maximos normally would have apologized first if not for the fact something more pressing had risen up. He recalled something which he spoke before she could get too far away.::
Well...there is one way...

Ira's sword alone was at least 6 feet long and over 8 feet long when fully strentched, so the range thing is is doubt too. Ira continued to attack with the Sol Nova, hoping his opponent would do something more interesting next time.
