Hidden Avation
Kekaishi looked at her noticing her eye twitch and her skin turning red inside he smiled, so she was not going to attack him. he listened to her tirade, he frowned slightly. it was true his family did own most of heaven but no soshi ever used the family money they all made there own, and even then he could have easily bought expensive sugar. he sighed he minus well come clean to her." to be honest... i did. i bought the best of sugar. and the little bit of salt i put in it and a little nugmet made it taste even sweeter, that why you can never find better dumplings then mine". He pointed this out as it was a point of great pride to him, the fact that Kikyo had gotten used to his cooking and considered it better then any other. " and too much sugar is also bad for your system. but you are right i do eat to much. but i had to do that. if i did not i would not be able to buy something very important to you. it cost me my whole damn furtune to buy it." He dug into his bag searching trough things before he brought out a wodden box that seemed to be recently waxed. he opened it and showed it to her." when we talking abotu about getting married and we where kids, you told me what you whanted to wear... i had these made specificaly for you. these is a necklace and earings... your dress is still being made... that's what i used all of my money on. our weeding." He smiled sadly at kanshin. " which that i could but unfurtunately that is beyond my powers.. hmm come to think about it i think i might be able to come up with a way to make sweet curry."

Kikyo pretended she wasn't listening to him, as was the tradition when she was mad at him. She felt bad for yelling at him about sugar when he admitted that he had been buying her the best-- and therefore most expensive-- sugar. It was touching that had had actually tried making it sweeter just for her, especailly since she did know he didn't really like sweets as much as she did. There was a slight jerk of her shoulder when he pointed out that all the sugar she ate was just as unhealthy... She never enjoyed this little fact being pointed out. Unlike her, at least Kekkiashi could admit he was eating too much. Maybe she could try cutting back on the sweets... Not right away, but she could at least try. At the mention of something important being bought and how expensive it was, she turned her head and watched as he rummaged through his bag. She looked at the box and blinked lightly before he opened it. She held back the gasp that had threatened to escape her. He had actually gotten the earings and necklace she used to talk about when they were young. She was surprised he even remembered that. It seemed so long ago since she had even talked about it last. Her lower lip quivered and she felt her eyes water up a little. "You idiot. You didn't have to spend so much money on me or the wedding. I don't want to run your funds dry..." She leaned her head against his shoulder, which he probably recognized was her universal apology.
Kanshin gasped lightly and put her hands over her mouth. "Oh wow, Kekkaishi-kun~! That looks so pretty~! Kikyo-sempai asked for that when she was young? She has really god taste!" She looked to Kikyo and thought she saw a tear run down Kikyo'a cheek. She looked in disbelief and blinked in surprise. "Kikyo-sempai, are you crying?!"
Kikyo tensed and began roughly rubbing her face against Kekkaishi's shoulder. "No. Of course not. A couple pieces of jewelry aren't going to make me cry. Damn allergies are acting up. There's probably just something in the air that's making my eyes water." She wrapped her arms around his waist and went back to resting her head on his shoulder and gave a light squeeze to him. Even if she was trying not to show it, it meant so much to her that he was doing all of this just for her.

Saden walked down the streets of te Hidden Aviation, scanning the area for something to do. He'd been kicking back and relaxing ever since he had became a chuunin, but now it was time to do something, whatever it was. He thought back to before the exams, when they were fighting against Santa. Without the help of Kekkaishi, Kikyo, Kanshin, and Kisai the exams would have probably included very little fighting, with all the peace being around. I wonder what they're all up to right now? And later I have to thank Kekkaishi for leaving in the middle of the fight. How'd he not know he was a chuunin? Pretty absent minding if you ask me. I also didn't see Kanshin or Kisai at the third exam, so they must've failed in the first round. That really sucks. At least Tara passed too I guess. Saden continued along the streets until he heard sounds of crying coming from his right. He turned towards the sound and saw thee of the people he was just thinking about. He approached them quickly, "Hey guys, long time no see."

((Kanshin has a new look, but I'm going to wait to put that up in the post until after the time skip.))
Kikyo looked over to Saden with minimal interst and gave a lame wave of her hand as a greeting. She was too hungry and feeling too bad for yelling at Kekkaishi to even attempt being social at the moment.
Kanshin saw Saden and immediately grinned and waved to him with excitement. "Hello, Saden-kun~! How've you been? Want to eat with us? I can pay for your bit since Kekkaishi-kun's payig for me." She scooted into the booth and patted the seat as an invitation to come sit with them.
Kikyo rubbed her eyes lightly, beginning to feel tired. Even if she had only cried a few tears about the sweet gesture Kekkaishi had made, she still managed to get tired from it. "Where the hell's your cousin, Kaishi? I'm hungry and I don't feel like sitting her all day waiting for him to show up."
Kanshin looked over to Kikyo-sempai and noted she looked tired all of a sudden and was starting to get cranky. "We haven't been here that long, Kikyo-sempai. There's no way you could be wanting to take a nap already... Especially since we've got friends around~!"
Kikyo huffed lightly in Kanshin's direction and closed her eyes lightly as she kept hugging on Kekkaishi and using his shoulder as a pillow.
Kanshin just sighed with a light smile and looked to Saden. "Gomen. Sempai and I had a busy day. Truth be told, I kind of wouldn't mind a nap after we eat. I cried so hard after the exams, and crying always takes so much energy out of me since I don't do so very often." She rubbed the back of her neck in embarrassment. She just hoped that was enough for Saden to put together that she had failed the exams at one point or another.

Saden smiled back at Kanshin and sat down next to her, "I've been good. Sure, I can pay for mine though Kanshin. I have some money, so there's no need for me to waste your's." He looked over to Kikyo, who gave a small wave at him, which for her was a pretty decent greeting. Saden yawned at the mention of sleep. It had sounded pretty good right now. Saden smiled back at Kanshin, "Yeah, a nap sounds pretty good to me too. I've been pretty busy in the Void since the exams. Dont worry much about it Kanshin, the exams were really tough this year. Like half of the shinobi were out in the first round. I got by through the skin of my teeth. If Kekkaishi hadn't left the battle, there would've been no way I would've made it past the first round. Then I passed the written exam by the skin of my teeth. I was the second lowest score. Then I got lucky with the last exam being a race I guess."

Kikyo's expression became murderous and she directed the expression to Kekkaishi within a heart beat. "You quite the exams. You failed them last year, and this year you ******** QUITE THEM IN THE FIRST PART?! Kekkaishi!"
Kanshin blinked in surprise that Kekkaishi had quite the exams, but the pep talk didn't make her feel any better. "I'm not ure what part I failed. The girl I went against, Hermione, was permitted to move on to the next section because she was paired with Hikai-- which kind of sucked since we are both fire elements, so I would have done a lot better working with him instead of this illusionist guy I'd never heard of but sort of helped in that Santa situation-- said she didn't want to fail a test, so she was going to drop out, so I took the exam, but no one told me if she really did drop out or not, so I'm not sure if I failed the first part and did the test for nothing or if I actually was passed by default and then failed the test." She sighed sadly. Either way, she had failed. It didn't matter when or how. She failed.

Hidden Aviation: Watari [Uchiha], Hikai

"I knew I smelled someone," someone murmurs from behind a rather large rock someone in the vicinity of the group. A small flame is seen dancing in the air before dying out. Another soon takes its place but dies out soon after. The boy, the boy some of them would remember from the Chuunin exams not long past, would stand from his place sitting on the ground. He would slowly shift around to gaze upon those on the other side of the rock with blood red, Sharingan eyes. He never turned them off but also never intended any harm from having them active. After all, he couldn't do too much with him since his advancing of them was halted by an un-killable best friend in more ways than one. Unlike in the exams, he would be covered by a black gold with golden designs and accents. A golden zipper shaking down his chest and to the bottom of the fabric, golden streaks lining the center of the hood, inches apart; however, the symbol on the back of the cloak would be silver and known as that of the Swords of the Crescent Moon.

Hikai seems to sniff the air slightly, almost absentmindedly, as his eyes fall on the young Kanshin before looking at all of the others. In his hand, that would be slowly creeping behind his back, would be a small flame. Perhaps he was intending to eat it? No, he was only playing with it. Reason for the small flames in the air before. "It's cold here," Hikai complains under his breath. He hadn't really felt it until now... wait a minute! When did that Salamander get there anyway? And for how long?

((Sorry it took so long to get this posted.))
Kanshin stretched lightly in the booth they were sitting in when she suddenly stopped and put full attention on the fire, much like a cat following a light that suddenly appeared. She watched it dance intently until it died out. She lost interest until a new fire replaced the old one and she began to watch the flame again. It wasn't a large fire, so she doubted any of the others would really notice it.
Kikyo saw Kanshin's strange behavior and began looking around to figure out what she was watching. When she couldn't find it, she looked to Kanshin with a concerned expression. "What the hell are you doing, Kanshin? Spacing out again?" She actually sounded hopeful that that was why Kanshin had a lightly blank expression and was ever so slightly moving her head while moving her eyes along with something.
Kanshin shook her head lightly as she kept watching. "No, Kikyo-sempai. Some one outside is playing with fire over behind that rock over there. You know how much I enjoy watching fire, especailly when it does pretty things. Who ever is doing it is making the fire dance."
Kikyo looked slightly oncerned before she turned fully in the booth to see that there was in fact a rock behind them outside of the resturant/ hotel, and behind the rock were little flames moving about that looked no larger than large insects from where she was at. How the hell did Kanshin notice that in the first place? Almost immediately, her eyes fell on the man dressed in black and gold with a silver moon on his clothing. How did Kanshin not notice him? He was a bit of a cutie. "Well, good to know you haven't lost your mind. I was afraid you were going phsychotic on us for a minute. Who's he? He's looking at you." There was a light teasing to the last sentance, and she looked to Kanshin with a light smirk.
Kanshin snapped out of her little daydream from watching the fire andblinked as she took notice of Hikai. She blushed at Kikyo's tease. She hoped the older girl didn't try setting her up with him. Sempai had been doing that a lot lately now that Kanshin had come to terms with Hido's possible death. Instead, she stood up some and waved to Hikai. "Hikai-kun~! It's nice seeing you again so soon! How are you? Did you fail too? Oh! Why don't you join us? I'll pay for your meal too!"

Saden smiled as his saw Hikai walk up. He scooted further into the booth to allow Hikai to sit down as well, "Hey. I remember seeing you during the exams, but I dont think we've met. The name's Saden Zoto." He took a sip of his drink and looked around to see if ayone else they knew would show up. I wouldn't mind if that Kisai chick shows up. Or Tara, if it weren't for her, I wouldn't have passed these exams. I wonder what's up with Kekkaishi too. He's been spacing out lately. he thought as he sat at the table. He opened up his menu and began scanning through the items, deciding what to eat.

Hidden Aviation: Watari [Uchiha], Hikai

Hikai found Kanshin's spacing out to be a bit concerning too, at first. Then he remembered how he got when looking at fire that wasn't his own. He wondered if seeing the flame was like food for her too. Dancing... taunting food. Just as he begins to allow his mind to ponder over the idea that Kanshin might eat fire, she calls his name. He was a bit taken aback by her calling him Hikai-kun. He'd never been called in such a, well, cute way before. He didn't like it. but, like all things with him, he'd get used to it. Listening more, he gets a harsh reminder that he'd failed the exams... yet again. Each time it was an odd turn that knocked him out of the running. The first time he had given his slot away, if he remembered right. And this this second time, there weren't enough spaces, Odori was too eager, and he wasn't about to leave that mountain until Grimace did. Without thinking, he shakes the thought of Grimace from his mind. He kept winding up thinking about Grimace rather than saying the others or something along those lines.

Eventually, which is more like a few seconds after Kanshin finishes speaking, Hikai gets a grip. If Kanshin was offering, he didn't feel like saying no was going to sit well with his conscience. He begins strolling over to the females slowly--crushing the flame in his hand to easily kill it as he approaches--when he finally took notice of another person, besides Kikyo or Kikyo-sempai as Kanshin called her, he didn't know. The dragon halts in his approach until the man has the chance to provide his name. Hikai could sense some form of easygoingness from Saden and it reminded him of a member or two of his organization. He felt more at ease and began to advance again. He stops before Kanshin, looks at her, and then looks at Kikyo. "My name's Hikai... Watari, Hikai. I took part in this past Chuunin exam with Kanshin." Hikai shifts his Sharingan eyes in their sockets to fall upon Saden before speaking to him, "I remember seeing you also. Congratulations, by the way."

Hikai allows his gaze to fall upon Kanshin again before speaking to the group. "If none of you would mind, I'd like to join you. I have nothing better to do, really." The last part Hikai sort of muttered. He wasn't sure if they'd take offense to that or not. He had nothing to do and wasn't saying what he said to insinuate that joining this wasn't something enjoyable.

Hido Nara, Akumukage

A short few feet away from the table the group was gathered around, the world itself seemed to warp at one spot, the air and reality itself warping like fork tines had pierced it and twisted in place. After a short few moments the world seemed to snap back into place and where formerly there was emptiness, a strange man in a black cloak stood. The man wore a hood and underneath it all that could be seen was swirling darkness. He stretched for a moment as he reached up, letting the golden hourglass clasped in his hand fall against his chest as he stepped up to the table the group was at. "Those are some interesting eyes you have..." He says amusedly reaching up with one hand and placing it against the swirling dark mass where his face should be, pulling back firmly. All at once the darkness around his face and the cloak and hood on his body seemed to peel it's way off of his body dissipating and disappearing to reveal a strange red mask held in his hand, and revealing Hido to be the man under it all. He smirked slightly as he looked down at Hikai, his own eyes rolling into the Mangekyo Sharingans familiar red and black windmill pattern, the mask in his hand disappearing into the seal etched into the palm of his hand. After a short moment he turns his gaze over to Kanshin, his eyes reverting back to their typically vibrant emerald green as he lets a hand rise up and fall to the back his head, his fingers scratching against the black hair. "Hey there Kanshin... sorry it's been so long." He says slightly apologetically looking around at the group of people she was with. He recognized Kikyo right off the bat, though the other two were unfamiliar to him though a quick glance from earlier had told him they were of the Zoto and Uchiha clans, and were a slight bit weaker than Kanshin... though he could of told that by the fact that he couldn't even feel their presence. "So how have you been?" He asked curiously, waving his hand as an ornate chair seemed to form itself beneath him as he sat, the moisture in the air freezing into translucent black crystal to form the chair he now sat in. He leaned back into the chair he had formed looking about the group for a moment and just waiting for their reactions... he could already guess what Kanshin and Kikyo were going to do...

Kikyo Soshi & Ӄanshin Enkou

In a profound sense
every man has two halves to his being;

so much as two persons trying to act in unison.
________________________________________

Kikyo gave a light, uncaring shrug of the shoulders before she leaned back in the booth she and Kekkaishi were sitting in. "Eh, I don't care if you eat with us o long as you don't take advantage of Kanshin's kindess or act like a total a**. And were you worried about Kanshin's little space out? She does that from time to time. I was trying to figure out if she had lost her sight for a minute there and didn't want to admit it or if she was just thinking really hard. (She tends to get blank expressions when she thinks.)"
Kanshin blushed lightly and rubbed the back of her neck in embarssment. "Sorry about that, Hikai-kun. I enjoy watching fire dance like it had been. With or without my vision, I can see the heat of the flames... It is such a pretty sight that I kind of feel bad for those who cannot see the heat signatures. That's actual what the paintings on my face are. They're some of my hotspots I thought were realy cool looking." She closed her eyes and pointed to herself with a light giggle to display the runes drawn on her face and shoulders. She looked to Saden and pointed to Hikai before she began speaking to him. "Saden-kun, Hikai-kun was one of my oppents. We had considred just teaming up with each other since we were the first two to show up and we seemed to get along so well, but Hermione showwed up and basically said there was no way she would let me have Hikai as a partner... I don't see why she couldn't have just gone with it. It's not like she really worked with him at all. In fact, she kind of acted like she was better than us. Oh! Speaking of which-- have you heard from the girl from Hidden Nightmare? Do you know if she passed?" Speaking of people who think they're better than us common folk, how's Princess Nightmares? Kanshin hadn't meant it quite that way, but it came out as such any ways.
Kikyo caught ont the double meaning and did all she could to keep from bursting into a fit of giggles. She had been a lot of fun to have around. She really had felt sorry for Saden when she decided she would partner up with him against Santa...

Kikyo saw the warp and instantly went defensive. Something about it made her angry just seeing it... She found out why the moment she heard the voice. She clentched her teeth and fists tightly the moment she heard the Nara's voice. Why? Why show up after five years of making Kanshin think he was dead? The poor girl had just finally moved on. Now she'd go back to obsessing with him again. And just when Hikai showed up, too. They seemed like they could have gotten along nicely.
Kanshin hadn't noiced the warp when it happened. In fact, sh had gotten distracted by the fact that the Akatsuki ring she wore had twisted on her finger some and was no longer facing the right way. She fiddled with the ring when she suddenly heard a familiar voice. She paused and got a look on her face as though she was hearing some one from the dead. Slowly, she raised her eyes just in tie to see Hido reveal himself. It took a moment, but it eventually registered that he was alive and right there. Without realizing it, she quickling stood in the booth and was stepping on the table to jump and leap onto Hido. "Hido-kun!" She wrapped her arms tightly around him and began sobbing into his chest. She had missed him so much and had been so afraid of his well being. It was so good to be able to actualy see him once more. She rubbed her eyes and looked up to him when asked how she had been. "My eye sight is fadin, Hido-kun. The heat from my clan's techniques are starting to make my sight fade from time to time. I was so scared I would never get to see you again." She burried her face into his chest and clung onto him tighter, thankful to get to be with him again.
Kikyo growled in anger at how calm Hido was. "You god-damned b*****d. What right do you have coming in here and acting like you hadn't hurt Kanshin all these years. That damn girl's been sobbing over your sorry a** for a couple of years, and all you hae to say for yourself is that you're sorry! I hate you! I wish you had died!" She had a look on her face as though she would stop off in anger right then and there if it were not for the fact that Kekkaishi was sitting next to her, blocking her into the booth. Plus... She was hungry. No need to miss a meal because of Hido. That would probably just give him some sort of sick satisfaction. Kikyo glared to Kekkaishi's cousin when he arrived with food and was going to make some comment about how long it took him when Kekkaishi said that HIDO was to keep an eye on her. A look of horror and disgust swept over her before she murderously glared to Hido and then looked with despiration to Kekkaishi. "You can't be serious! You aren't bout to ******** leave me with Hido b*****d, are you? I am 21 years old, damnn it. I don't need him looking after me like a babysitter! I can handle myself!" She watched Kekkaishi leave and frowned before she began angrily eating the dumplings.
Kanshin watched the scene unfold in silence. Kikyo seemed to hate Hido even more than before... It reall was saddening that she couldn't get along with him. When Kekkaishi announced he would pay for all, she quitely said, "No you won't~." She really did have a lot of money to spare, especailly considering all she inherited after Hidden Cloud was leveled completely, leaving her parent's fortune to her. She observed Kikyo's tantrum and decided she should try calming her down some. She moved over into Kikyo's seat and took her tea and red bean soup thankfully. "Kikyo-sempai, it really isn't as bad as you think it is. It'll be like old times~!" Kanshin perked up at all the god memories she had used to block out the bad ones of her and Hido always fighting (despite the fact it usually seemed one-sided).
Kikyo huffed and growled out, "I hated the old times," before she continued chomping on dumplings.
Kanshin puffed her cheeks out lightly before she got excited and smiled to Hido. "I thought of trying a new look, and the fact that you showed up toda must be a sign that I should definately go with it. I'll show it to you after we all eat. It's so cute, Hido-kun~!"

Hidden Aviation: Watari [Uchiha], Hikai

Hikai listens to Kikyo a moment before feeling the urge to blurt out that he wasn't concerned. Despite that urge, he keeps quiet. Hikai could tell this woman's personality and she'd be pissed to high hell if he blurted that out. She didn't seem like the type for lies. Hikai did care, like any good hearted person would, so if he said otherwise then he was lying. "Take advantage?" Hikai muses to himself silently as Kanshin chimes in. He keeps hearing the mention of Kanshin and her sight and begins to wonder just what they were talking about; the whole back-story of what they were talking about, to be more specific. At the mention of her face paints, Hikai examines them carefully with his eyes. He uses his eyes to slow Kanshin's movements down in his mind so that he can view her paintings before anything were to interrupt. He then stops using his doujutsu and looks away from the girl when she turns her attention to Saden. "I have no intentions of taking advantage of Kanshin. I just feel, as manipulators of heat and flame, we should get to know each other. It's not many people like her and I that I've met."

Hikai senses someone arriving in the area but ignored it. There were far too many people around for him just to rely on that. But when the man fully 'arrives', Hikai decides to trust in his senses. His eyesight seems to widen, him taking full advantage of his peripherals, as the males form slowly approaches. Something about that man wasn't right. Something about him screamed familiarity as well as stranger. Hikai attempts to shift his full vision onto the stranger as he seems to comment about someone's eyes. Hikai wondered whose he could be commenting. His? Just when Hikai turns away so this man couldn't look at his eyes anymore, oddly giving him the feel that he's looking at something more, the dragon's nostrils flare up. Just like when he sniffed the air before to take in Kanshin's heated aroma, Hikai subconsciously sniffs the scent coming off of this man, Hido. The scent was familiar to him, not to mention the man's appearance. He'd never met Hido himself but had heard of a male fitting his description attacking his comrades.

Even despite the large power difference, a fang protrudes from Hikai's mouth and he begins to turn around to confront the man who would no longer be concealed from sight entirely. Just before he turns completely around, the anger deflates out of him like air out of a bag. There are a ton of people who fit that description. He'd feel really stupid if he said something and was wrong. He'd feel even dumber if he said something to the man and was right in his assumptions, but couldn't do a thing about it. Not to mention, he seemed to be something special to Kanshin who was the only person keeping in there, in all honesty. He didn't know anyone else. So, even though every fiber of his being felt the instinct to lash out at the man, he would control himself. He was no animal. "Yeah... it was nice meetin' you too..."

Hikai finally mumbles after Kekkaishi had already long gone. he'd been absorbed in thought, yet again, and hadn't had the chance to respond until now. Hikai turns his head to the waiter that arrived and decided to have a seat on the end of the seats and scoots farther into the booth. "I was under the impression that people didn't have to pay for food at restaurants. I don't," Hikai says lowly before glancing at the waiter. "I'd like a metal plate or pan to be heated as hot as you can get it and a small flame on the side on a bed of straw. Can you manage that?" Hikai continues on to say, tilting his head up to look at the waiter. The teen, both hands under the table, begins to scrape lightly at the underside of the table; the noise barely able to be heard. Hikai doesn't check to see the expression of the waiter or anyone else, at his request. He just lowers his gaze to the spot on the top of the table where he is clawing away at the tables underside.

Hido Nara, Akumukage

Hido reached up quickly, catching Kanshin as she jumped at him, and wrapping his arms around her as she buried her face into his chest. He let her cry like that for a moment as she looked up at him. He reached up himself to wipe a tear from her eye and smile down at her. "Well it's good that I'm here then... though I do have good news, if you want me to, I can heal your eyes Kanshin... I've learned how, I could even bring you back from the brink of death if I had to." He says smiling at her as he listens to Kikyo rant on for a moment, merely watching her with a well hidden look of mild annoyance and amusement. As Kekkaishi stood however, introducing himself, Hido smiled at the man "It's fine I don't bother with Honorifics myself, and Hido Nara, Kanshin's Husband." He said nodding to the man as he received mission orders. It made sense after all Ninja were always getting dispatched... speaking of which... he had some people to send on missions. "And oh? Well, you probably can handle yourself well enough." He says shrugging slightly as the waiter comes out dispensing food and listening to orders. Hido didn't order anything, no he didn't need food though when he wanted to eat he could just produce whatever he wanted on the spot. "Oh, yes actually could you disregard that mans request. Here, just give this to owner, and write the bill to the person in that note, no need for a good man to take on the burden like that." He says smiling slightly. Ahhh it would be good to listen to his financial advisor complain again. Oh well, it was his village after all. Though he had heard the Uchiha's request and was quite amused himself. It was thinking of this that Hido waved his hand towards the man as a small bowl of translucent black crystal formed. Faster than anyone at the table could react a string of handseals were made and Hido touched the table, causing a branch to extend from it and place itself into the bowl, the branch rapidly aging and drying and becoming fibrous like straw, though better burning. After another set of almost unseeable handsigns Hido would bring his hand to his mouth and breath out a small stream of fire through his ringed fingers, an exact match to the Uchiha clans trademark fireball jutsu igniting the self made straw. "There, that should be sufficient for your second request, I would fulfill your first but I'm horrible with metals and would rather just avoid trying to bend them to my will." He says to the man shrugging slightly. "And that's sounds amazing Kanshin, I can't wait to see it, I'm sure you will look wonderful as always." He says, smiling at her before looking up at Kikyo, his smile fading. "Besides Kikyo I myself rather enjoyed the old times, even your futile attempts to get rid of me... though if you are a fan of permanence, and if it will make you feel any better I would be more than happy to give you a chance." He says simply, pointing at Kikyo as a long perfectly crafted katana appeared in his hand, one of two Kodachi with polished whitewood handles, and extremely sharp blades. He quickly rolled it in his hand, pointing the blade right at his heart and turning the handle to Kikyo. "Here, see? All you have to do is push it forward if you so wish me 'dead' though whether I disappear or not is still up to question, I mean I don't even know myself... this might just be that fluke of days where all of my many defenses fail and I truly do die, though if I don't and you truly just want me gone that badly I will leave, go back to running my village and dealing with the threats I've kept from the two of you, but you will be the one to deal with Kanshin after. And if it came down to that, Kanshin could come to the village whenever she liked, she could even join my village and ignore all these petty tests and formalities, just live with me as the lady of the village. But for you... I would refuse to be near you, whether Kanshin was there or not, until you came to me begging for my presence." He said as calmly as possible, intentionally avoiding Kanshin's gaze. For one, he didn't want to see how upset she would be about this, even though she knew as well as he did a simple stab to the chest probably wasn't enough to keep him down hell she had done it to him once before as well. And secondly he for sure didn't want to see the look she would get if Kikyo actually did it. But, being the Akumukage for so long now had made him aware of how horribly he had dealt with problems before. And in situations like this, it was either settle it like this, bicker and fight forever causing Kanshin distress, or he and Kikyo step outside and 'settle' things. This was just the better option.
