((It's great to have you back, it's nice to know we'll be able to keep this going for awhile longer.))
Crow was astounded at the creatures ability to recoil from the Karasuken, it was one of his most powerful techniques. Nonetheless it had presented itself as a challenge, and it would see exactly how much Crow enjoyed a challenge. He wrapped his legs around the arm that had grasped him, then quickly threw his body into a turn to unbalance the creature and bring it to the ground in an armbar. Crow also took the advantage of this position, bending back with the arm in tow, breaking it at the elbow. Here he held the creature partially partially immobilized and looked towards Kioko quickly in hopes of signaling her.

Kioko only needed one glance from crow to tell her that this was her opening. She accelerated her running speed and ran up to the creature, bringing down her arm, she applied as much force as she could to her swing to try and cut through the neck area with her 'wind blade.'

((Hey, you can't break up the Core Four, LOL! I mean, we are the only ones who've been in this since the beginning all the way through.))
Ventus and Angelo walked through the marshes, knowing they would soon be near the more solid ground where the laboratory was located. Angelo had always found it strange how the rest of Florida was near sea level, except for this area of solid earth and softly rolling hills. Now, he was going to find out why. Back at the hotel, a man had shown up to pick up Karin and Strobe, a teleporter by the name of Pinch. He was one of Charles Ferdinand's Naturals, and had some information to pass along. In the package that Pinch bore, there were two topographical maps, showing the geography of the Miami area. In one year, these rolling hills and their accompanying cliffs had appeared, transformed from their earlier marsh-like counterparts. This intrigued Angelo. And, with his new found determination to bring down the labs, born from the recent turn of events, he accepted he mission: find out exactly what the lab has had cooking down there for all these years. Now, cloaked in perfect stealth, he and Ventus searched for another entrance to the lab. They couldn't keep using the cave, it was too obvious. Skirting the edges of perimeter security, they searched.

Akki tries to remember everything that happened before she woke up in this weird place. That's right, she was killed by a lost bullet and nobody never came to pick up her dead body. Her ghost saw that for sure but when she saw her body for the last time, she felt like she was disappearing and it seems years before she woke up here.
Akki tapped on the glass wanting to get out but the doctor just stood there, reading his clipboard. What am I? An experiment?, she thought as she also watches the other two fight.

Doctor K turned his head for a moment after hearing a slight tapping noise. The red glow of the eyes behind the mask turned to a young girl in a preservatory pod. He turned his attention back to the experiments, he would have to have her leave soon, any outside influences were a risk factor in his plans, though comprehension of them from such an uninformed position would be unlikely. It seemed Kioko and Crow were almost finished with their first run, she could be released and escorted away afterwards, either way she'd soon see the same day.
The creature hissed, screamed, and lashed out at Crow as best it could from within the hold to no effect, for the time being it was pinned. A sudden realization came to rest upon its conscience, the knowledge of creeping death. It swiveled its head fully around just in time to catch the blades on the side of its neck. A horrid screech echoed through the air and quickly died with the creature. Spasms of life's last struggle threw the creatures limbs about powerfully once more before it ceased to effect the world around it.

"Wait, Ventus, stop." He said to the big man, whose shoulder he was perched upon like an odd parrot. "Do you hear that?" The sound was muffled by Angelo's stealth, but was definantly there. Angelo turned off his power and jumped down from Ventus' shoulder. The sound was much more clear now, a low rhythmic humming. Creeping along the ground, he advanced, searching out the origins of the sound. He stopped at a cluster of rocks, hearing the humming more audibly there than anywhere else. "Here, Ventus." He said, pointing. "Move these."

Akki tapped a bit furiously because she was very desperate to get out. Without warning thick vines came out of the ground, breaking her container and hitting a few scientists. She didn't know why but she coughed out some water when she can breathe inside her container.
The tubes that were also connected to Akki broke and she fell down. She got a few cuts from the glass that were now scattered around her. She looked up and saw what kind of mess she did around her.

Kioko quickly withdrew her hands from the oozing neck of the monster to cover her ears from the blood-curling scream that it yelled. As much as she hated to kill un-necessarily, this one was different, it wanted nothing but to kill, no thoughts or anything.
"Are we done yet?" She whispered to Crow low enough so only he would hear after the scream died down.

Ventus reached his massive hands around the boulders and tossed them aside like a normal man would toss a brick. Beneath them was a skinny tube. Hot air blew from the tube, along with the sound of the rhythmic humming noise. "It's a vent." Angelo said, smiling. Ventus looked to him, and he nodded back. "Dig. It's our best shot." Smiling, Ventus bent to his task, first pounding the earth so the large clouds of dirt rose into the air, then sinking his fingers into it. With a dozen or so shovels of his massive hands, a cement base was revealed. The vent ran right into it. Ventus pounded on the cement. Pressure began to build in the tiny fault lines in the stone. Breaks spidered outward from the impact zone. Then, the entire section caved in with an explosion of dust and fragments. Angelo jumped into the crevice first, followed shortly by Ventus. They were in a generator room. Large electric generators made loud noise and abundant heat in the small room. And, if the thermal adapter plates om the walls were indicative of anything, it was that even the heat was being collected for energy. "Why would they need so much energy?" Angelo asked Ventus, more as a way to ask himself than anything else. "And, I thought that the lab used geothermal and hydro-electric power sources? Why these?"

Crow twisted his legs from the hold in a spinning roll that tossed the creature a few feet away. He landed from the spin in a crouching position before rising to his feet. He glared over towards the holding cells where the rest of the creatures waited. He turned to Kioko and shook his head. It wasn't likely, he had never left this arena after a single test, and he and Kioko were here for a reason, these tests would likely test their endurance. He then turned towards the window where the doctor would be, waiting for any sign of his intentions.

Akki quietly tried to sneak out as she passed by the scientist that was knocked out earlier from the vines. Looking back, she sees the two figures standing still from their position, as if waiting for something to happened. Thinking this was her chance, she slipped out of the room and wandered her way from the hundreds of directions before her.
Hoping that the scientists didn't noticed her escape, she now stand before a room. She felt the hot atmosphere as she stepped closer to it. Her knees wobbled a bit for she was still weak after getting out of the container. Then she heard noises from the room. Hearing the human voices inside the room she thought that scientists might be inside. I can knock them out after I get in, she thought as she reaches for the handle.

Doctor K heard a significant lot of commotion from the room to the side, a young girl emerged from the room, yet surprisingly the doctor did not turn to address the problem. Instead he allowed her to leave on her own, he didn't have time now, for as the experiments below defeated the abomination there was a disturbance in the terminals, they flickered and shorted for a small while. It seemed to the doctor that they might be expecting company. "Crow, Kioko, you have shown promise, and excellent performance of teamwork, and you have no idea how much you will need that. But as we now are quite possibly short of time there are a few changes to be made to our plans today. First of all, Kioko, please take this here." The doctor placed yet another of his small vials of liquid into a small, box-like compartment in the desk. It closed and delivered the item to the arena room below by chute, into a similar compartment in the wall. "Give it to Crow when it is needed." His hands shifted across the board to the devices they had operated minutes ago. He opened the gates holding the creatures almost fully before shutting them again, allowing three more of the experiments to escape. "I understand that the terms are less than accommodating, but I ask of you, please try to survive."
The first of the three was cautious yet aware, it stood watching carefully without making advance or retreat. Small gusts of wind seemed to blow its hair about in intervals and the ground quaked as it shifted around. It seemed to glare at Kioko with with longing and hatred.
The second crouched down on all fours, attempting to dig its claws into the ground beneath it. It was silent as it moved cautiously towards the two experiments. It opened its maw and let out a cat-like growl.
The last stood up straight and approached Crow at a walking pace. It bared its teeth as sharp razors and tightened its frame to appear bulkier. An aura of black flames sot out from around it and enveloped it as it approached.
Doctor K then removed a device from his coat, he unscrewed a flat, featureless panel on the board and pulled a few wires from the bunch with jacks that he used to connect the device. Then with a click of a button on the box its purpose became realized. Two crystals and panels on the sides of the arena rose from their surfaces. Luckily they were still intact, he had installed them himself over the recent years. The structures began to emit an aura, the same as that which had been of the crystal he had exposed the experiments to in his personal station outside the base.

((Crow, what do you want the liquid in the vial to be? and for the crystal thing, are you talking about the monster experiments, or the small wall indent thing that you put me and crow in before?))
Kioko rushed over towards the chute and grabbed the vial, holding it up, she examined the bottle. Another one of the Doctor's concoctions, it seemed non-lethal, but you can never be sure. Suddenly, she heard the hiss of the gates opening again. Quickly putting the vial away, she rushed back over to crow when she saw the 3 creatures emerge from the opened door. Upin seeing them, her stomach fell. Just from appearance, she was able to guess their powers; elements, animal, and ki. But this time, they looked stronger.
"Things just can't get any better huh?" She said sarcastically to crow.
The floors of the arena shifted before huge crystal panels popped out of the floors in opposite sides of the arena. They began to glow and pulsate giving off waves of energy.
"Great, just what we need." She said mostly to herself.

On one side of the strange generator room there was a door, no doubt connecting to the rest of the lab. But, on the other side was a pit. It was down into this pit that all the wires lead. "C'mon, Ventus." Angelo motioned to the big man as he spoke. Ventus gingerly picked Angelo up and placed him on his shoulder. Angelo closed his eyes and, a moment later, they had faded away, out of sight and sound, disturbing only the physical objects around them, and undetectable by any other method. With little thought to his own safety, Ventus jumped down the shaft and into the dark void below. The pit was long, and it took them almost a full minute to reach the bottom. Angelo disengaged his stealth and jumped down once again. They stood before a rusted iron grate. It opened easily, and it's hinges appeared to have been freshly oiled. Walking out into the dimly lit hall slowly, Angelo was surprised to suddenly stand face-to-face with one of the lab's large, empty Guardians. It was a creature of magic, a large suit of mass produced armor enchanted for a specific purpose: to keep experiments in, and civilians out. It looked at him, and he could tell it did so with great scrutiny, even if it had no eyes. It also looked at Ventus with the same inquisitive gleam. Then, suddenly, it attacked.

Akki breathe deeply as she opens the door. She finds no one inside. Curious, she roamed around and saw some kinds of machines that are unfamiliar to her. Then she felt something strange. The aura that she felt was different. Sensing trouble, she looked around for something to escape instead of the door. What she saw was a pit and without a second thought, she jumped in.
Akki landed down and a big leaf grew suddenly from the ground as if it was trying to save her from the fall. She landed and slid down the leaf. Entering a rusty gate which looks like someone has already opened it, she went in and realized she was in a dim hall. Then she saw a big creature and two people. One was very big and the creature suddenly attacked the two while Akki hid in the shadows, not knowing what will happen next.
