He smirks as she pinns him to the bed. "I don't doubt what you say, hence why I gave the order of interrogation of captured enemies, so we know all we can in hopes of defending against her." He reaches one hand up to caress her cheek and says "By doing that, i can better protect you."

She smiled and nuzzled against his neck. "All right... I don't like the thought of you going to war. I keep thinking I'm going to loose you..."

Ryu smiles and says "I promise you, we'll be together for all time." He'd then give her a loving kiss as he holds her close.

She kissed him back and made herself comfortable ontop of him, like a cat curling up in the sun. She nuzzled against his chest, staying close to the love of her after life.

He too would purr and his warmth would radiate out to her, furthering the feeling of being a cat curled up in the sunlight. For now, this was where he needed to be, before the fights to come. And he would savor this bliss for as long as he could.

She smiled softly and scratched at his clothes softly with her nails nad looked up at him. "What're you thinking about hun?"

He looks to her with a smile and says "how much I love you, and wish for nothing but an eternity of happiness for the both of us." he gently strokes her hair before giving her a kiss.

Ryu would smile some and gently stroke her right cheek as he says "you needn't blame yourself for this matter. The coven is merely persistant. And it's my duty, and in my nature as a dragon, to defend my territory from invaders."

She burried ehr face in his chest and started to cry. She feared for him and kept seeing pictures of him falling dead in her mind. She didn't want to loose him.

Ryu held her close and stroked her hair. "Please don't cry my love, believe I'd rather stay by your side. But I have a duty to the people of this land, and important role to my troops. But most off all, I have the roll of father and husband to fullfill and that is to protect you and our children." He guides her gaze to his face and says "but if it makes you feel better, if it looks as if things might be too much, I'll order retreat and fall back, returning to you and go on to a more defencible location. ok?"

She nodded and wiped her eyes dry. Wrapping her arms around his neck she hugged him tightly, burrying her face in his shoulder. When the attack would come they didn't know. IF she had to she'd go and negotiate with her coven to leave them alone.

Sh took a few shakey breaths before calming down. BUt she didn't let go of him, affraid that if she did he'd dissapear on her and everything that had happened would be a dream. That she'd never fallen in love with a dragon or had two beautiful babies. She didn't want to wake up.
