Jazai Tatsuman A year ago, I would've agreed.
But now, "child friendly" can kiss my a**. Friend codes and all. You have a point. Nintendo moves very slow in in the chat area. The policy of "please everyone" means please the parents of 6-year old kids that rely on their parents for everything. Unfortunately, gamers will always suffer because of this. Not if we kill all of the kids... xd Joking, of course.
Xbox LIVE begs to differ.

XBOX Live is the polar opposite to Nintendo WiFi - it's no one friendly.

Owwin But, you have to have a computer to play online anyway. Unless you live at a MacDonalds with Wifi or a Starbucks or something. You have to have a way for your game console to access the internet, and I am pretty sure that means you gotta have a computer. Halo 2 included. Yes, but I don't want to be near or using my computer while I'm playing my Wii. My computer sucks balls, and so do the computers of my friends. We'd all have to get the same VOIP client, then there's the fact that we'd have to get headphones, and the cords (unless we got cordless, but those are harder to get) only go so far from the PC. It's just a lot easier if I can use my gaming console to talk to my friends in my game.

Phone? sweatdrop Yell reallllllly loud? sweatdrop Telepathic Messagaes? sweatdrop Really long tube? sweatdrop My phone service is special. I can talk long distance the same price as calling my own phone. Therefore it doesn't cost much for my friends back in Mississippi to talk while brawling. 3-way ftw

Owwin Meta_Fish It's 2008. I don't want to get a computer so that I can talk to a friend to play a game online. Halo 2 came out in what year? It had that option. Hell, PC gaming has been enjoying it much longer. At least they could have given us text chat. No, we get taunts.
Even Mario Kart's """"chat"""" function got ******** class="clear"> But, you have to have a computer to play online anyway. Unless you live at a MacDonalds with Wifi or a Starbucks or something. You have to have a way for your game console to access the internet, and I am pretty sure that means you gotta have a computer. Halo 2 included. EDIT: Unless I am mistaken and you can just plug your Xbox 360 into a phone jack. Well, in my area (Florida) they're starting to f*cking charge for their wi-fi just about anywhere you go scream
and that pisses me off! It makes me want to....
KICK BABIES!

Well some people are just lucky enough to even have Wi-fi in general. Unlike people who are stuck with dial-up. So when I want to play over Wi-fi ill either have to go to my friends house on weekends, or go stay with my brother, who lives about an hour and a half away..... gonk
I hope to meet alot of new friends at the Brawl tournament, so hopefully I can start to have new rivals.

Although I have a laptop that I can just take to where I game, I'd probably use my new cell phone since it has speaker phone.
... God, my last phone didn't have speaker phone, and it was killing me because I could never play any video games while my girlfriend was talking to me because I had to hold it in one of my hands or else I'd drop it. @_@ The phone's just too damned thin to hold on my shoulder.

I'm taking my camera with me this sat. night, because I'm almost sure something epic is going to happen X) I can imagine satisfied customers doing their victory dances, and unsatisfied customers throwing huge fits XD (not that I think it's funny that they didn't get their game or anything like that o_o)
I know I'm going to do a victory dance once I get it =3
