We did, they were tricky.
Actually, I had this comp exam once and it was multi choice. The exam was meant to take 3 hours and I finished in a half hour.
I had to wait another hour before I could leave the room.
& that was in university gonk

It seems that Norwegian schools in general don't give multi choice tests crying

We have silly rules for exams.
You can't sit the exam if you are more than a half hour late
You can't leave until 30mins-hour into the exam.
You can't leave in the last 15 minutes.
I think it is to minimise distractions.
