So an extended, in-depth version of Adventure mode (SSE) was repetitive, rather than a short 10 minutes adventure mode from melee.
When it finally gets online that melee didn't get, IGN complains about that.
>_>

Meta_Fish Sadastic Kyo Meta_Fish Deadman Justice Brawl got a 9.5 from IGN and people are complaing it's too low on Gamefaqs. It's bullshit. It's not the greatest game ever you know. Sure it's a great game but not the greatest. 9.5 is a high score. People always complain when a hyped game doesn't get a score they're satisfied with. From what they said in their review, I thought IGN would give it an 8.5, or possibly even lower. I guess the multiplayer just really makes up for stuff. Melee got a 9.6 from IGN. :0 Why did Brawl got lower by one? D': Go read/watch the review. I just did. >_>

>_>Well, in their defense, it should have online chat, in some form.

>_>Well, in their defense, it should have online chat, in some form. It does. Internet message boards. Hehehe. But honestly if people want to talk that bad can't they just set up a ventrillo sever and talk through their computer? EDIT: Wii doesn't have a DVD player because people already have them, it doesn't play music because we have MP3 players, so don't we have the technology to talk to our friends over the computer while we brawl? Sure you have to turn on your computer, but don't you have to do that to brawl online anyway? EDIT 2: Then again some people don't play video games in the same room as their computer.

Adding on, who wants to talk to strangers that will probably curse or insult you. It'd be nice to chat with friends though.
They could go to the computer to chat after they're done with the match if it's not in the same room.

It's 2008. I don't want to get a computer so that I can talk to a friend to play a game online. Halo 2 came out in what year? It had that option. Hell, PC gaming has been enjoying it much longer. At least they could have given us text chat. No, we get taunts.
Even Mario Kart's """"chat"""" function got ********.

You have to have a way for your game console to access the internet, and I am pretty sure that means you gotta have a computer. Halo 2 included. EDIT: Unless I am mistaken and you can just plug your Xbox 360 into a phone jack.

Voice chat would be good. I can live without it though.
Just set up a voice IM or something if you want. It's not really a big deal to me.

Chat would be cool, but maybe you should concentrate on the fact that Nintendo will finally allow SSB online! Nintendo wants to stay child-friendly, and so we miss the big picture.

A year ago, I would've agreed.
But now, "child friendly" can kiss my a**. Friend codes and all.

But now, "child friendly" can kiss my a**. Friend codes and all. I know, they could have just put some voice chat on if you have their friend code entered. I'm just glad it wasn't Sakurai who didn't want to put voice chat in, but Nintendo.

But now, "child friendly" can kiss my a**. Friend codes and all. You have a point. Nintendo moves very slow in in the chat area. The policy of "please everyone" means please the parents of 6-year old kids that rely on their parents for everything. Unfortunately, gamers will always suffer because of this.
