RikoSeryuji Man, Tanto is continuously bashing Akeru, isn't he? She technically didn't even do anything wrong... Believe it or not, Akeru likes Tanto a lot more than Akira does. Akeru has seen some of Tanto's redeming qualities and though she dislikes a lot of things about him, she respects him as her leader. On the other hand, almost every time Akira has seen Tanto he was doing something to prove to him he is a petty and unfit leader, and he holds no real respect for Tanto himself; he only respects his rank as kage. s**t could be a whole lot worse, the village isn't falling apart, and a hospital even got built. You also need to remember he shouldn't even be the Kazekage, he's just a bodyguard thrown into an important position in the mad rush to find someone to replace the former, sure there are other people that have the ability to be kage but they don't want the position due to it draining the life from ya through all the stress. I personally think that he's doing a decent job...

3 where I am too but Im headed to bed after that last post xd I knew Kazu respected authority figures but I never thought he would have spoken to his leader like that but oh well.

The guy could have easily decided to attack with the bladed side of the cleaver and she would have had it planted in her skull, or if they didn't give her an antidote for the poison, she could have died out in the desert. In Akira's mind, a good leader would show some humility and apologize to Akeru for sending her on that mission instead of demeaning her for her failure.

Akira just sees it as Tanto throwing his weight around and pushing the responsibility of the error that was made on Akeru. And Akeru has a reason that she was a bully. It has a lot to do with the fact she grew up homeless without a family.

I will say though, that Tanto has a reason to hate bullies, but that's another story for another day. lol I've already said it myself that Tanto shouldn't be Kazekage, but he took it after someone rushed him in since it was a way to prove that he was actually worth something more than a "******** sammich".

You all started posting at like 2 AM here so I missed the begining, then I was babysitting all day so I couldn't reply, and now I'm reading to catch up and working on a post right now!

I love how she hates Suna because of one person's opinion, she must LOVE Tanto if she runs away because of him coming down on her like that. Well, the thing about Akeru is that she grew up without a family or anybody that really cared for her. And she was basically forced to steal to eat and such, which got her a bad reputation and all. When she finally got into the academy, nobody wanted anything to do with her, she was picked on and pretty much treated like garbage. She became a bully then basically to prove that she wasn't garbage, she was actually better than everyone else, and she just saw all the troubles in her life as tests to make her stronger. That's why she was a bitchy, selfish bully beforehand, and that's why it was such a blow to her when she didn't do well in her exam, because if she wasn't better than everybody, then she was garbage. Then, when Tanto promoted her to chunin, she basically saw it as him putting faith in her and saying he believed in her. She's never really had anybody to do that in her life, so that's why she was trying so hard to become the chunin Tanto wanted her to be. But with how Tanto acted, she came to the realization that she was mistaken, that he never really believed in her, and that he, just like the rest of Suna, thinks of her as nothing more than garbage. So it pretty much seems to her now that everything and everyone around her is looking down at her and they see her as nothing but a failure. She basically feels like everyone's against her and she doesn't have a friend in the world. So basically Tanto took someone who has self image problems and was basically clinging to him and stomped on her and called her garbage. She doesn't have to be in love with him for that to do serious psychological damage. People have committed suicide for less...
