Oassu paused for a moment "Almost feels greedy of us, though I'm sure it would go down well with Zadina, especially if he is infatuated with little Amane" he sighed "Sure, lets go ahead and do that we should set a good example like that" he said brightly.

Jeckhart cocked his head somewhat confused "But herbs are so sweet, I'm not quite sure what herbs would be bad for you like that, do you mean they improve your eyesight?" he asked confused as he went and took a slice of the white herb cake "I'm just saying you shouldn't count out the possibility of love and children just yet," he added sniffing his cake curiously.

Zadina spun round spotting the king leaving before joining in Amane's bouncing in excitement. "I think you are right Amane! We should hurry along to the tower about now if we want to get the best spot" he said eagerly taking Amane's hand and hurrying towards the exit "Though we should be ok climbing that mountain I mean, we'll have plenty of practice climbing the stairs of the tower." he giggled.

Felina smiled giving Oassu a hug "That was the right answer dear. Also, it may not be Amane. In future when hes all grown up and she has great grandchildren and hes still young might meet someone else and have the same aging problem. Im sure he will be able to get a lot of help too with the amount of friends we are all making down the road. We seem to conveniently bump into people with connections" she joked looking around. "Soon we should probably move to our balcony"

Amane laughed shaking her head "I don't think stairs help with rock climbing. Though apparently if you fall there are always gria around to catch you but you have to start the chellenge all over again. Though at least you have done it once you never have to do it again should you return. You can float if you like though. Theres no rule for guardians, only the summoner" she added having to pick her dress up to climb the stairs.

Hebal grinned and nodded her head "Yep Zadina is a good kid which is why I am not too worried about him and Amane having just snuck out of the room. I don't think there will be any trouble. I dunno what experience Zadina had while briefly staying with the clan but he thinks pretty highly of you guys from what I gather."

Oassu nodded "Certainly he's going to make more friends, who knows what with all the time he has to travel he might become a legend of his own, frankly I think we're worthy of some legends ourself considering what we accomplished but no one seems to have noticed all that stuff" he sighed looking longingly back at the cake.

Zadina smiled taking Amane's hand to help her up the stairs "That's awful nice of them to help you up like that though we'll need to practice climbing then though it seems unnerving to think they'd make such a hard challenge for you considering you've been training your whole life with magic" he stopped to peek out one of the stained glass windows with a picture of the moon on it "I doubt you'll get rock climbing training at the temple after all" he said.

Jeckhart nodded "I'm sure they won't, they are wonderful little children but yes Zadina was in a lot of trouble a while ago and we did the best we could to save his life and contain the evil that was put in him, it shouldn't be a problem anymore and we got to spend some time with him when he was recovering" he explained looking around confused "Where is everyone moving to?" he uttered

Felina laughed almost skipping up the rest of the steps "Well if you tried making a few more influential friends then maybe you might. Or maybe you could just dedicate yourself to doing something really hard working. Like Onotarius spent over a millennium in teaching before he got any recognition though I doubt you have the patience of attention span for that. I sure don't" she whispered taking Oassu through a small side door leading up to a small tower. "Your going to be a lot higher up than the rest of the crowd soon"

Hebal cheered excitedly bouncing after Mu while dragging Jeckhart by the arm behind her "Ooh yay firework time. I hope we can still squeeze in somewhere nice. White magic was never really my talents either. Plus I found it incredibly boring and gross in school having to learn what to do when we saw injuries that matched the pictures they showed us in class. When I asked Miss Hikari why they did it like that she said it was to shock people so by the time they got to use it properly they were used to seeing all the nasty bits. I'll just stick to blue magic. It's a lot less stressful having to watch fiends all day"

Amane frowned scratching her head "well with it being so high maybe it would be very useful to use because you would be high enough up to watch everyone moving around below you. Though at least it still looks well taken care of despite not being used. The stained glass is very pretty. Makes me hopeful that there may be a telescope still up there we could use for a closer look"

Oassu nodded "I bet Zadina would be allowed up here but I still am married to you and have access to your connections via you after all" he said "Like you could talk to someone as a favour for me see?" he said planting a kiss on Felina's chin as they walked "Though don't worry I'm hardly interested in any political games, more than happy to just be far away from all the connections and intrigue of court." he said dismissing the topic.

Jeckhart gasped in surprise almost tripping over his feet as Hebal dragged them along "Well...yes I imagine that part is less stressful" he said deciding not to mention the part where blue mages need to be attacked by fiends "Though in white magic's defence it learns spells that relieve stress" he muttered as they hopped outside.

Zadina nodded "Well in part yes, it goes above the treetops of the forest but the forest is a vast thing so you can't really see well beyond the edges of it but yes there is a working telescope up there, built by moogles supposedly back when our kingdoms were friendlier" he said panting a little from the repeated climbing. "Though I don't think we should use them to look at fireworks, we'll be close enough and a closer view would probably blind us from the flashing." he said.

Felina smiled stopping before the double doors to return the kiss "Zadina could get away with murder since he's so polite and doesn't have any family. The latter being something that my dad feels partly responsible. His mother may not have been nice but it was still him who signed the execution papers. Though we'll not go into that. Dad has always liked Zadina" she whispered pulling away having given up on trying to discuss elven politics with Oassu.

"Don't just stand there you two. We have been waiting for you to arrive so we can soon begin with the fireworks. I do not know about you but I will be glad when this is over so that I can rest" Alusaadi told them the moment the doors were opened for them by the servants.
