After finishing his work, Arthur called up his wife and told her he'd be heading to the hospital to see how Rose was doing before returning home. Mary-Ann agreed. She knew Rose, at least from all the info Arthur told her and was concerned. Arthur had always said Rose was one of the best on his force.
Arthur got in his car and began driving to the hospital.

I tried to move with a cool hand...
It didn't go as I planned.
I'm full of rookie maneuvers...
and gestures meant to be grand.

Now let's let the day go lazy."Since Rose wasn't due for surgery quite yet, Juliana took a seat and watched the interaction between Vincent and Laura. They were both perpendicular to the camera, so she was able to see a half of both of their faces, which enlisted for - if not entirely accurate, pretty close - lip-reading.
Well, Vincent was surely full of himself, she noticed. Looked rather entertaining. Juliana was surprised that Laura hadn't tried to stop or follow them. But at the same time, that wouldn't seem very 'nurse-like' either.
Musing to herself, she simply waited for the surgery to begin. "My daisy, you know what I'm after- your musical laughter.

"Oh, just some womanizer who dates women and then tosses them to the curb once he gets bored with them. Sometimes he'll date more than one girl at the same time and even goes out with women who are already in a relationship. His name is Tony, just to let you know. I doubt you'll ever run into him though" Anthony said.
He wasn't aware he was speaking to Tony's girlfriend.

She laughed.

Anthony paused for a moment. "Well I guess I might as well admit it. You probably already ran into him at the park during the shootout. He's part of the mafia, as was I..." Anthony trailed off at the last part, paused again, then continued. "He's part of the main branch of the Forelli family and so has a pretty good position. I always had to look out for him and make sure he stayed safe when we were younger. Did he care? Not really. He just took advantage of me. He always did. Now he's trying to kill me and doesn't even have a problem with that. In fact, if it wasn't for this girl named Sami, Rose and I would probably already be dead" Anthony said. He then looked at Juliana. "Oh, I'm sorry. This turned from a simple conversation into a rant. I apologize if I come off as just going on and on about stuff that's not important" he said.

"You were part of the mafia?" She echoed disbelievingly. "No way." She smiled a little. "You seem too sweet for that sort of occupation." Then she blinked, confusion crossing her face. Anthony thought for a moment. "Well I was a detective, but I was part of the mafia. I was there to help stear any case that may lead back to the Forelli family in another direction, usually to a rival gang, or I was there just to mess up the evidence. If it didn't lead to the Forelli family, then I just handled the case like any other detective. As for Sami, I'm not sure. I think she wanted to join the mafia but I don't know. She just managed to pop up as I was under attack from an enemy gang an saved me by driving to the safehouse by the docks. Unfortunately Rose showed up and figured out I was part of the mafia. I know that usually you're supposed to kill a person if they found out, but I couldn't do that. Rose was my friend so I tried using a memory erase serum on her, but it wasn't fully finished yet and we had to drive Rose to the mafia hospital. It also didn't help that we were attacked at the safehouse and I got shot in the arm" Anthony said. He then pointed to his bandaged arm.
The former detective and mafia member then continued. "While we were in the mafia hospital, Tony showed up and I guess he had orders to whack us. However, Sami was there and kept him busy with...cheesecake I think. Something strange" he added.

"With cheesecake?" She echoed through her giggles. "How on earth did she manage that?" And she looked at his arm, and concern crossed her face. "Ah, I was wondering what had happened. How long ago was that anyway?" "My daisy, you know what I'm after- your musical laughter.

Anthony looked down at his arm. "I dunno. A week or more maybe. I can't even remember. I was stuck in Witness Protection for a while and lost track of time. It's was like Big Brother, except I wasn't going to win any money" he said.
((I forget how many days passed in this RP and I am NOT going to check 1100 something pages to find out))

"I never really liked that show," she admitted, even though the real Sami had never watched it. "Saw a couple of episodes early on, decided it wasn't for me.
