Oassu smirked "They are pretty cute together, perhaps you should have a word with him later, might be he'll want to go on our quest himself for Amane someday" he joked "Though I guess it would make sense he is a good dancer seeing how he's of noble birth an all, probably trained for this well enough" he nodded turning with Felina.

Jeckhart nodded surprised as Merric landed in his lap looking up at him expectantly "Well of course I'll look after Merric for you and sure I would love a dance after, though perhaps the next song will have a little faster pace" he said hopefully.thinking it was more to Hebal's taste.

Felina nodded with a small laugh "Yes but then again so is his dancing partner who should theoretically have had more time to practice. Though I think Zadina is a little to young to be given the talk just yet. Might want to go on a quest for someone later on in his life just in case though.For Amane though, she will be twice his age when he starts to like girls" she whispered sadly but at the same time glad the song would soon change into something more upbeat unaware she was being watched by someone waiting for the opportunity to borrow her for a dance.

Hebal giggled making Amane take a bow with her "Hehe its no fun or challenge when slow like that. Anyway I believe it is your turn next since nobody else except possibly Merric wishes to dance right now" she smiled holding her arm out while she waited for the floor to clear a little.

Amane nodded looking over "Yeah the queen does a bit but carrying a baby is a good reason to get tired more often I bet. Plus hehe it was more the king who insisted on her dancing. Totally swept her off her feet hehe but she still looked really graceful don't ya think"

Oassu frowned shifting slightly in front of Felina his hands resting gently on the concealed knife under his waistcoat "Lord Eviente is it? While I appreciate the honesty you would have been better off holding your tongue, perhaps you'd like to discuss our differences outside if it would make you feel any better? I'm sure you'll see I'm not so bad with a little talk" he said threateningly

Zadina sighed hopping over to Amane waving goodbye to Lady Mirele "Well glad that's taken care of, now hopefully we can avoid any trouble for the rest of the night I'd rather not be asked by a string of noblewoman for a dance tonight" he said petting Merric "You two certainly looked like you were having a fun dance as well" he said to Amane.

Jeckhart nodded reaching out to take Hebal's hand but pausing slightly when he saw Oassu and Felina hadn't cleared the floor "I think Oassu might be in a spot of bother right about now" he said quietly.

Lord Eviente scowled pushing his glasses further up his nose unaware of the small had gesture made by Felina "You appreciate my honesty and yet you threaten me with violence? Perhaps we should get you a muzzle and find a better behaved dog for the princess to keep as a pet.

"Excuse me Princess but is there a problem here? Would you wish for me to remove this noise from your presence" came a deep voice from a fully armour clad eight foot guard underneath a helmet.

Felina paused casting the worst glare she felt her face could make at the other nobleman "As far as I know Lord Eviente has decided he is not going to come near me or Oassu here for the remainder of the night. Perhaps you could make sure this is made possible ideally without the use of that large sword you own" she ordered managing to keep herself calm.

Eviente groaned turning round to get a good look at the guard "Very well... have it your way. But know that someone like you does not deserve to be here and enjoy it while it lasts" he scoffed walking away back into his own crowd of friends family.

Felina sighed "Just ignore that idiot. I think you are great and he's just jealous because all he will ever have is some crummy castle in the middle of nowhere" she assured Oassu giving his hand a squeeze.

Hebal smiled releasing a sigh of relief seeing that a guard had stepped in "Well you were right but you know... if need be friends have to stick together and protect each other from jerks like that. But glad your visit feels like a good one. All the frownies you carry around don't suit you nor are good for your health. Will have to make you have fun more often hehe"

Amane nodded gently taking hold of Zadina's hand "Well I think its adorably sweet to watch Merric getting all tired like that. I think he won't be the only one tired out. But if you don't mind teaching or leading me on these dances I dont mind trying. A good summoner tries to keep an open mind about other cultures after all" she added unsure where to move next.

Oassu sighed cuddling Felina quietly "Sure it's easier but it's probably a lot less satisfying than doing it myself" he said releasing Felina to go stand on the balcony outside.

Jeckhart smiled "I hope too, it's just I feel so cumbersome as a human, and my lifespan has dropped tremendously, it'd be like if someone took away your ability to bounce taking away my flight" he said sadly "But you sure do a lot to brighten me up" he added.

Zadina paused a little looking down at Amane's hand for a moment idly playing with the fingers "Your fur is so soft..." he said stupidly before blushing and shaking his head "Sorry, that probably sounded really dumb, I bet the beauticians did great job with your fur but come I'll show you how we elves dance" he said taking the sleepy Merric and tucking him away in his robe before leading Amane to the dance floor "You just need to put your hand here on my shoulder and I put this one on your shoulder and then just follow my movements and I'll lead" he said brightly as they began to twirl.

Felina frowned following Oassu hastily outside "Hey, aren't you going to get cold out here. I mean the palace is heated but still outside is deathly cold so cant shut all of it out. Or is that the intent so you can cool down a little" she asked leaning against the railings.

"Oh don't worry princess. I have already made enough heat spells to last around the outer areas of the palace. It wouldn't do to freeze the guests after all" The only other man on the balcony at the time assured Felina. "It's an honour to be seeing you again and a pleasure to meet you Sir Oassu. Or perhaps you would rather be addressed in another manner? Officially I am Lord Onotarius Tayu though I would rather not be addressed in such a fashion" he introduced himself.
