I can see the similarities but also reading the clan description, it sounds like chakra production is affected by the extra organ. I might have to ask Sai to go into a bit more detail a little later, so I have a little better understanding.

I never got to see much of anything from NFS1 aside from a fight I read after the fact that is probably my favorite to this day. I almost thought it was blood bending, but it can only use the blood within themselves, right? Do you know if it can pull a "Gaara's Sand" and snatch/convert other blood? That'd be nuts.

That's sick. I'm probably gonna be forced to default to my original concept of adopting Orasakai over my characters White Hair/Blue Eyes concept. I like Blood Bending in all it's rights, but I have trouble seeing it cohesively fitting with my character/his personality. It does conform to his "Medic" status though.

NFS1 had some real fun times. Plenty of fun fights and fun characters. heart

I can't deny that I drew some inspiration from Sai's Orasakai clan with how extensive the history of it was within the guild. I kept thinking "What can I make?" and went through several different ideas, such as Cat People and Vampires, before settling on the Ketsueki. Back in the day, DBL's character was always intriguing to me, but at that time, it was his schtick, so I didn't dare try to interact with him and learn his style of Blood Control. But unfortunately, he hasn't come back to this revival. Combine that with the absence of OE's and I was sure that Blood Control was gone forever.

It's only because of this contest that I thought it might be appropriate to make an attempt to bring the spirit of DBL back. And who knows, if DBL does decide to come back and wants the same kind of character, he could just create a Ketsueki.

Yeh. I want to be one of those guiding the development as opposed to sitting idle and allowing the others to. Gonna see if I can't use this modded campaign as my first step in cementing a legacy.

Not a loophole, purposely put that there :3 And you're right, I did my job well in making sure they're all gone now. No longer can you increase your check by 1000~ from random usage of peculiar effects.

But there are certain things in this guild when used optimally can be incredibly broken. One of which was the usage of a particular mist sword + item combination + a particular item that led to me being able to infinitely chop people's heads off without loosing a single use on my item 8D

Unlucky for you guys, I'm removing the ability to do that because another mod told me it's too broken to stay that way.

My effects were the coolest though. wink yeah I had a bunch of dumb s**t saved up that I never got to use in battle. Which is sad, because I spent a lot of time making that junk. Loopholes were the way to succeed in NFS1 haha.
