Hebal shook her head "Fighting does happen sometimes. More with males than females though in some parts of the world it is equal. Even then we have no united front. If one forest is attacked by people, they are usually welcome to take shelter in another forest but there wouldn't be any armies made up from a joint effort to fight back. What I meant was they are properly united. If someone attacks Mineerin, Yithra elves will come over to help where as with us its every forest for itself. Makes me a little jealous" she explained offering a slice of chocolate cake.

Amane giggled bouncing out the way "Your uncle certainly has spirit also. All the elders who rule my village would never do anything like that in public for sure. He was telling me though to practice some white magic and if need be you had a lot of books at home I could borrow and then general advice like a good path to travel to on my pilgrimage, how many guardians and stuff like that" she answered giggling to see Merric had already hopped upon the now empty throne.

Oassu nodded almost stumbling as Felina opted to take the lead instead of him "Well I'd watch them snow elves if they like the desert elves ideals and dislike the Mineerin elves I can't imagine they'll much like High Elves either" he said following Felina blinking in surprise as he spotted her parents dancing over her shoulder.

Jeckhart looked down at the slice of chocolate cake being drawn away from the dancers "Why thank you, but I imagine there's not really anyone who would want to attack a Viera forest anyway anymore, Dwarves and Humans eventually came to peace with the Viera years ago about the forests and now they use non-Viera forests and maintain the forests they use for wood" he said scratching his head in thought "Though I think you'd make quite a good leader for Viera" he added taking a bite of the cake.

Zadina gasped swiftly scooping up Merric seeing where he was sitting "No no no no Merric you can't be sitting there, we can't have a Kingdom ruled by a chicobo" he said tucking Merric away before looking at the dancers "Dancing is so boring I think, I had to learn all these dances when I was younger so that I'd fit in properly when these times came and be polite" he said crossing his arms.

A familiar noble gracefully and quietly appeared at their side "Good Evening Lord Zadina, I trust you are enjoying the celebrations" Lady Selene said in elvish with a bow "My lovely daughter Mirele was hoping she might have the honour of a dance if that's alright with you" she asked beckoning her daughter who emerged shyly from behind the folds of her mothers dress and bowed to Zadina murmuring a greeting.

Zadina smiled politely and nodded before turning around to Amane giving her an exasperated look "Please look after Merric for me for his dance I'll come back soon" he promised passing Merric to Amane and taking Mirele's hand before moving to the dance floor.

Felina slowed down edging Oassu slightly further away from her parents "Well its nice my parents still have the time and energy to have a little fun together though on the bright side it means that everyone will be looking at their dancing and not hours" she whispered giving him a nuzzle. "The snow elves are more honourable than the desert elves at least. It's just they are brutally honest and value bravery more than most things. And high elves know to keep them happy because as a whole they are easily the best physical soldiers in the armies and could probably snap your limbs in two if you made them mad"

Hebal grinned gesturing for Amane to come and sit beside her with Merric "Oh but the village leaders are expected to frequently visit the male villages nearby which means frequently getting pregnant also. Lead by example or something. I just wouldn't have the drive and besides. I love it simple. It's nice to just get up in the morning without too much worry and responsibility when all you want to do is sing and dance and have a little fun every day. Being a queen would mean paperwork and stress and not much singing at all" she groaned at the thought before wiping her face.

Oassu smiled "Why thank you, must just be getting used to it" he said twirling with Felina "Though geez those Snow elves should really hold their tongue a bit more" he said leaning close for a cuddle "Though your butt looks pretty fantastic if you asked me" he whispered with a little giggle as he rubbed Felina's back.

Jeckhart shook his head "You'd be queen you could make whatever laws you want though I think it's really unfair the way the Viera culture works as is, Viera should be able to marry and have children for love I think." he said "But those who do tend to get stigmatised don't they?" he said sadly smiling for Amane as she arrived "Hello Amane, where did Zadina go?" he asked.

Felina grinned but shook her head "Maybe not the best place to tell me that but I appreciate it. As do I appreciate it when the snow elves do come out with stuff like that. A single honest opinion Is better than a million people holding back. Nobody in this room would probably compliment me like that after all hehe" she cheerfully replied swinging Oassu gently around into another direction. "None of the elves are as fun or as charming as you though" she added kissing his forehead.

Amane shrugged "I guess I could dance with Zadina but for the time being, we barely stopped talking to the king and queen before another person came up and jumped in for a dance with Zadina before I even knew what was happening" she explained bouncing Merric in her arms "Worst case scenario I can dance with Merric I guess.

Hebal sighed shaking her head "No no that won't do silly. Jeckhart, do us a favour and hold Merric a few minutes hehe" she instructed placing the bird on his lap before swinging Amane onto her feet for a dance about a foot away from where they were sitting. Hehe you can have a turn if you want after Jeckhart or anyone for that matter"
