She loooked over at him then leaded down and pulled out a clip from her bag. "Hello," she said coldly. Pulling out her gun from its holder she let the empty clip fall into her bag. The new clip clicked into place and she pulled back the top loading it. She had no intrest in this man....well he was quite cute so maybe she would.

EDIT: "No," he said, in answer to her comment about his entrance. "Not all men. Just me. And even then, not always. Mostly today." He was doing good so far. "Anything... interesting happen in here lately?" He asked.
It wasn't that he was curious about the person who had just left so much as he was trying to make some conversation- a skill he wasn lacking severely in, no matter how much expertise he gained in other areas.

She turned around and looked at the man. Why was he so friendly? "How should I know? I just got here." She shook her head and aimed her gun at the target. Without blinking she fired off three shots they all laned so that it made a perfect triangel.

Kris gave a sort of half-shrug, and said, "I guess you could say the same for me. I've only been at Ria for a few days, but already I love the place. Nice shot, by the way." He had never been good at firearms in general. He was too jumpy; his hands shook like leaves whenever he held a gun that was heavy worth a damn, with the possible exception of rifles, which he liked. He could always cheat and steady his hands with a little magic power, but that wouldn't be nice. What amused him about this girl was that she pretended to be cold and unwelcoming, but still insisted on showing off. "I don't suppose I could bother you for a quick round?" He asked politely. "You seem to be pretty good at what you do, if you don't mind me saying so."

She spun around to face him. "Thank you." She placed her hands on her hips and she looked him up and down once more. "You want to fight? Me?" She looked to the side thinking. "You already know what I can do...what do you do?" She wanted to know what she was getting herself into before she started anything.

"Plenty," said Kris as he automatically drew his rapier and made a few movements in the air. "For starters, I've been using this piece of work for almost nine years now." Next, his left arm started to glow with an odd kind of aura that made the air around it shimmer with a blue tinge as he put the sabre back. "I don't want to demonstarte this unless I have to," he continued, "but I also have a good amount of magic power. The trouble is that the only way I know how to use it is to manipulate physical force. If you've been paying attention in Physics class, you'll know what that means." The truth was the he didn't know himself, though it didn't help that he had, in fact, not paid any attention in Physics class. Sometimes it was a little like Wind power, like when he sent it through the air, other times it just amplified force, and on more than one occasion he had used it to fly. "I actually envy the traditional mages," he said with a shrug as the aura was abruptly extinguished. "Imagine being able to do almost anything! To manipulate the world using hidden power! But I'm just being wishful. Do you still want a bout?"

She watched him take out his blade and she smiled. "Oh good you fight in the normal way too." Reaching into her bag she pulled out two tontos. They where shaped like moons. She held them in each handwith her guns on one finger. "I have been trained to fight with both gun and sword." She smirked. "It's quite fun." She thougth for a moment then placed her blades and her guns back in her bag. "But sorry, I'm a lover not a fighter." She said with a smile and tossed her backpack over her shoulder.

Kris laughed. His laugh was heavy, clear, and sudden, a sound that many found to be intrusive or irritating, but that others liked. "That's a shame," he said, still smiling widely, "But I guess the world can never have too many lovers." Then he cocked his head. "On the subject of what you said abotu both guns and swords, those were short blades if I'm not much mistaken, I didn't get a good look at them before you put them away, but have you ever trained with a proper sword? A sabre, an epee, a broadsword...?"
He was talking to a pretty girl about guns and swords. Oh, yes. This was a very good day for Kris.

She sighed and tried to remember. "Well I have used a Scottish Claymore sword but that was a long time ago and I really didn't like it." She smiled "I like it shot and quick, pluss there less messy." She smirked and walked over to him. "What about you? Have you even even held a gun?"

"Funny you should ask," said Kris. "I never fight with a gun, it seems like a cop-out if you have a gun and the other person doesn't. You know, like cheating. Besides, I'm pretty competent at deflecting bullets myself, so who's to say that someone else won't be able to throw them right back at me?"
He appeared to stop for a second and think. "I'm a bit too ADD to use a gun properly," he said. "Back home, they had a gun range and I got to fire some huge s**t, but I wasn't accurate worth a damn. Now, a rifle, that's different. I like those. I think I owned a Winchester 500 at one point."
Damn. One too many swear words. Kris was starting to slip backwards into his casual way of speaking. Perhaps, he thought, that was a good thing. Maybe he would make a friend. Not bad for only a few weeks. For him, that was.
"A claymore, eh?" Said Kris. "Actually, I don't like those. They're made to chop, slice, or bash the hell out of whatever you can reach. It's not really a weapon of finesse. Perhaps you'd like to learn to use a proper rapier, since, as you say, using both is so fun. It's not unheard of for someone to use a sword in one hand and a magnum in the other."

"Cheating you say?" She made herself look outraged then went back to normal. "I call it sport, or just skill. You have to know what you're doing to fire a gun. I mean sure it's just pulling a little piece of plastic but to really be able to use it, that takes work."
She laughed a bit. "Yes being ADD won't help if you want to use a gun. A Winchester? Humm not bad but like I said I like guns and swords smalll. That's the only thing I like small." She smirked and continued to listen.
She thought for a moment then started to walk around. "Taks for the offer but I think I'll just stick with these little ones for now." She didn't care for long swords they where too heavy and you couldn't use them with other wepons. "Really? Well good thing that's not what I do then. I hold my tontos in both hands and the guns right next to them. Nothing too hard." It took her almost a year to learn how to do that well enough to actually use it.

Kris nodded. "Not half bad, actually," he said. "I agree that it would take skill to control two guns while simeltaneously holding two knives."
He absentmindedly checked his watch, then suddenly perked up and swore repeatedly under his breath.
Before she could ask what was wrong, Kris said, "I have a haircut in ten minutes!" And started out the door.
Wait a minute... what the hell am I doing? Thought Kris as he spun around on the spot and gave an elaborate, pseudo-graceful bow. "I almost forgot," he said, smiling to himself as he did. "My name's Kris Ratch. It was nice talking to you..."
And with just the slightest tinge of red in his face-- after a moment, he realized that he didn't know why it was there-- Kris ran out the way he had come.

She tilted her head to the side as she swore then she turned it back upright as he spoke. She stared to turn as he stared to walk out then shot back to face him as he turned. She watched him bow then bowed her head to him. "I'm Fera Raven, it was nice to talk to you too." And with a slight blush on his face she watched him walk out. "Well if he wanted a haircut he should have just asked me." She smirked and started to spin her blades that she had just pulled out.

Dave opened the door to the traning hall, checked looked out it for a moment, then slowly closed it behind him. He then pulled out his knife, and flipped out the blade. Then, he ran full speed up to one of the dummies, and slashed at it untill it fell apart. Next, he tried to twirl the knife in a fancy way and put it back in his pocket. It fell to the ground and just barely missed his foot. He picked it up and hoped nobody saw him, putting the knife back in his pocket.
