"Well... I shall need Po-ar once more." Konton spoke. "But I think I shall kill her first... since this one seems to pose the most threat to us all." Ashuri's eyes widened slightly at that thought. Helpless and unable to defend herself, the Saiya-jin hardly liked the idea of death. "A slow and painful death... Of course I will consume her like I do most of my victims, though I admit I shall wait to see if either you or Naga have any use for her before I begin."

Herne shrugged, "I have told you who I am after. Im ight be abe to use her body for some projects of mine, but it is not overly important to me. Seems a shame to waste such a body and power, though. Perhaps...well, if you want to kill her, I won't stand in your way."

"Use for her body?" Konton asked, intrigued by the prospect. "Tell me, what use might that be, for if it is deemed... well... unpleasant enough, by all means. I can wait for my meal."

Herne shrugged, "Oh this and that. Use to make some more hounds and the like, nothing I can't get without her. Of course, I could make her into one of my hunters. She woudl certianyl be a ncie addition. All it really requires is the removal of the soul and then it's just a matter of animating the body."

Konton smiled, "The soul is what I value most in the consumption of my enemies. Perhaps that idea, is a good one..." the demon reached out a clawed hand, picking the still conscious and quite aware yet immobile Ashuri up off the floor. His hold tightened slightly about her neck. "Give her soul to me and she can become your newest hunter. I am sure her power will be a most welcome addition."

Morrigan was thankful the two Saiya-jins ended up forming a chain with Vincent; it certainly helped things. She focused deeply and closed her eyes, and they were all gone.
They reappeared at her hideout, the sun warm and the air fresh around them. She didn't say anything before she was gone again; Vincent shook his head. "I didn't do ANYTHING to you," he told him aggressively, "I just woke your ungrateful a** up after you were drugged! Now where did she go now??"
She was back. Ashuri was still there, and contrary to Herne's thoughts, she HAD been aware of the Unseelie court's involvement in matters, and worried accordingly. She wouldn't leave until everyone in danger was brought home. It was her gut instinct, and morals. She couldn't deny it. She crept through the secret passage ways, up the wall and peering out the same hole she and Imogene had been before. The dogs weren't so bad, but Ashuri was in danger. Now, what was the best solution to this??? To further complicate things, it soon became obvious that the Saiya-jin woman was poisoned. She still had a few of the undead/dog repellant sachets tied to her person, which usually was decent at keeping them at bay. She had an uneasy feeling this time. Naga was quiet but watchful, eyes drifting around the complex. A guard came running in, alerting him and the others that the prisoners were freed--- he did not look happy. On the bright side, the search crew was already sent out. He didn't have to say anything. Morrigan resisted the urge to smile. Naga kept a perimeter of the ceiling and room, as if searching for something; Konton knew his thoughts without effort. He was suspicious.

"You think they will attempt an attack upon us?" Konton asked, his eyes flickering from the woman in his clutches to Naga. "What do you have in mind?"
Vejita meanwhile, let Vincent go. A hand on his arm, Trunks' he knew, stayed the punch. "Look, we have to get Ashuri back." the purple haired man spoke. "What can we do?"

**I wouldn't say attack so much,** Naga thought in reply, **More like a rescue-and-run. First Po-ar, then an entire room full of prisoners.... I'm sure you see where I'm going with this, plus, I can't shake that feeling that we're being watched. If she's here... We need to strike her unconscious so she doesn't switch between worlds.** he finished.
And indeed they were. Morrigan hadn't moved or made a sound, crouched like a tigress and ready to either attack with wind and water----while she was weak with water, she had enough to send icicles soaring at the three---or more likely, retreat.
Vincent shook his head. "That's where Morrigan went now, I'm guessing," he sighed, "But we're in the same realm. I'm sure she had weapons and armor and that here, and there's a stable down the way, so we'll call one of the groundskeepers and head to where Naga hides out. We don't have much other choice, unless you can get back faster."

Herne smiled, "Well that works out rather well, doesn't it?"
The man lifted a long, thick chain around his neck that was hiden beneatht eh cloth of his tunic. He pulled out a large yellowish stone, that glowed with some eerie unnatural light.
He pressed the stone to Ahsuri's forehead, chest, and stomch resons before pulling back. Each area that he touched left a fine line, not unlike the web of a spider, connected to teh region. The thin stands and the stone began to glow as Herne bagan to draw Ashuri's soudl out of her body. Drugged as she was, ti didn't take him very long.
He severed the thin lines and then took out a small, sealed phial and pressed the stone to it's top. The glow of the stone enveloped the tiny glass container and when it subsided, a bit of that light remained in the phial, which he handed to Konton.
He looekd over at Naga who seemed to be on edge.
"If you are lthat worried, why not leave?"

"You misunderstand me," Naga spoke quietly, "I'm anticipating."
Morrigan winced. She was took late, she hadn't acted fast enough-----this definitely complicated things. How would she get that off of Konton, without getting caught??

Konton took the soul with a smirk. "Very interesting method." he spoke, dropping the now lifeless form of Ashuri onto the floor. "No struggle, which we have your poison to thank for that, and no problems in the taking... Such a smooth method, though it does seem a bit more painless than my own." he smiled. Suddenly, the demon grasps his chest and pulled. A large section of muscle and flesh moved aside, revealing something very few had ever seen. It was a pouch of sorts. Within, he stored the vile. "For safe keeping." Konton replied as the flesh repaired itself. "I would hate for someone to steal my most treasured prize."

Herne was a little surpsied at Konton's...pouch, but he smiled, "Indeed it is. One that I find quite useful to me. Hunting soul's is one of my favourite activities. How else could I aquire such faithful hunters?"

Herne grinned cruely, "Oh this and that. Torment them emotionally. Use themto aid me. Actually, it is thanks to one of the souls I captured that I know everything I do about the twins. I promised freedom to a youth's soul I had had for years, in exchange for the death of a girl who was their friend at the time. The souls can still wander about if I allow it, and occasionalyl communicate to a few gifted people, but they are forever bound to me. The offer of freedom and a body of their own- you have no idea how tempting it is for half of them. There's a good deal more to it than that, it's actually quite a tale. The important part is that I got what I really wanted and that was a wealth of information on those two. "

"You shall have to teach me these ways." Konton replied. "I would get far more pleasure if I could emotionally torment a soul than simply physically." he laughed. "Of course, physically may not be the right word... When I consume my victims, their souls remain aware enough, and connected enough to their bodies, to where they will feel all of the pain. It can take me weeks, even years to consume some... and until that last bit of flesh is gone, the soul is in constant torment."
