gerp91 I am so excited!!!!!! We have a snow day today! Its awesome that we have a snow day right after spring break but I hope that the snow and cold doesn't kill a whole bunch of the crops and what-not. There is no school is like the whole state and its like a blizzard here. The snow is blowing everywhere and its kinda hard to see. Is anyone else feeling the wrath of this snow storm?? No not here. Winter started early in my area and was bad, so spring has come early and God willing it appears to be sticking around. Yay! for snow day though. biggrin

It is getting close to white conditions here... Other parts of the state can't see past like 30 feet. What's funny though is in 1/2 hour, school would normally be out and it has barely snowed here XD. I am glad that Spring came early for you. We thought it came early too until this snow storm decided to hit.

Hope your snow day was fun. I think while flicking through the channels I seen that places down in the states were getting snow. Thank god we're getting light rain so all the dirty snow is finally washing away. I cannot wait for warm weather!
My aunt finally left yesterday and she put me in a bad mood the entire time. Whenever she visits she feels the need to constanly cut me and my mom up. And then my dad, for some reason, whenever she visits he becomes a totally different person and treats my mom and I like crap {just worse than regular lol}. I just can't stand her and then she makes me sleep on an air matress out in our living room while she sleeps and stinks up my room. Meanwhile I didn't sleep at all and then they wake me up at 6 when the go in the kitchen and dedice to have a huge, loud conversation. Ugh.. I'm so glad she's gone lol.
Hope you're all doing better. I find out what my final grade 11 mark for english is this upcoming Wednesday. Hopefully I did good. Also have a unit math test on Monday. Uuugh.
Hope you get more snow days Gerp and hope your spring lasts until summer Katie. razz biggrin

My snow day was actually pretty boring. My father wouldn't let me leave the house because the weather was getting pretty nasty. Overnight last night, the amount of snow that we had on the ground doubled. I woke up this morning, grabbed a ruler, and went to measure how much snow we had. We got a total of about 9 1/2 inches of snow. Other places around the state ended up getting about 2 FEET of snow XD. This morning I actually had to p u s h my door open cuz the snow was blocking it.
I am glad that your aunt is gone and has stopped causing you pain. I don't think family members have the right to treat other family members like crap.... Its just not right......

That's a lot of snow Gerp and I share you sentiments about relatives of a certain Garden of ours. 3nodding It rained her last night. Anyway my life has been a little chaotic. I passed my finals and am now going through the paper work needed for my internship. I am still looking for a job, and I am now using my old monitor with ubber tiny print in place of my monitor that broke. Things with my boyfriend are going well. Yesterday I went to meet my boyfriends dad. He seems like a pretty nice guy, quiet but nice. He is also a great cook. heart I really like my boyfriend and his family. I haven't been this happy in a long time. He's funny and sometimes acts like a little kid, but I'm fine with that, seeing as I'm just as bad, not used to dating, so I sure he has some of the same 'what the heck moments' I do, just for different reasons. As well my uncle is in town this week. He live in another state and him and my aunt are visiting the rest of the family for the last few days of lent, Palm Sunday, and maybe Easter. I like this uncle very much. Well anyhow I hope everyone is doing well and now that this monitor is working I'll be around a little more. biggrin

We have gotten more snow. Our 9 inches of snow melted in two days, then three days later, we got like 2 more inches of snow that melted the next day and now it is snowing again. It ridiculous. What's worse is the fact that it was like 65 degress yesterday and today is it snowing....
How is everyone? I haven't talked to your guys in a while.

Gaaah.. It's a huge snow storm here! We had almost lost all the snow and it was warm out yesterday and all of a sudden, I wake up and look outside and I couldn't see our neighbors house because of how thick the snow was coming down. Ahh! Not fair! Go away!
I'm pretty busy right now with school work and starting my summer job soon {ehh.. well maybe mid - May} and just feeling very bleeeh.
I've been becoming very upset lately about everything that went down like.. two years ago now with my old friends. I realize that although I still really dislike them that I sort of miss a few of them that really had nothing to do with it but ended up not liking me because of what those other b-tches said about me. Well my summer job is right near some of the old friends houses which will be weird passing them by everyday. I'm actually hoping I'll run into one which is weird. I suppose I just really miss having friends like that and laughing everyday. It's extremely hard and it's taken this long to really hit me.
Sorry for the rant that you don't really care about lol.. Have to let it out sometime. razz

It was the same way here this last Monday. Yesterday it was 57 which was very nice. It's funny though now, because all that snow melted and turned into huge puddles of water, flooding everywhere, and now all the mallard ducks are having a field day. xd

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!! I hope everyone had a good Easter. I was curious, because I am a curious person, what do your families do for Easter? Any traditions??
Like my family always has an Easter egg hunt for all the kids and this year my Aunt put some money in eggs so I got 2 eggs and she hid them in impossible places.... Like INSIDE my dad's truck and INSIDE a bush... ugh XD...

Happy belated Easter to everyone. I really don't do anything for Easter here. We had the traditional ham of course and a cadbery cream egg. I got a nice shirt for my present and that's about it.

Sorry I haven't replied about Easter.. I keep forgetting lol.
All we did was my mom put out in the morning a bowl of chocolate eggs for my brother and I and a big chocolate bunny. I also got three big chocolate eggs from my grandparents. I'm almost done the bunny.. It's sooo good. razz
Then we just had a big ham dinner with potatoes and carrots. smile
We usually go over to my grandparents house but my Nana just got a chest infection so we didn't want to put her through the trouble of making like, 10 people dinner.
The weather is amazing here. We still have a tiny bit of dirty snow in our backyard which my dog is always trying to climb onto and cool off hahah.
Today it's 20C out which is soo nice.

Hey everyone, I've a bit of of official business for us. Firstly I am up dating the front page for the common room, if you have anything you would like to put up, as in an announcement, a special message or just something fun like a joke put up just give me an Owl (PM). Second we came in second for the House Cup! Good job everyone how helped by earning house points. ^_^ Next I would like to say that I will be doing a major cleaning of the Dueling Club, or as best of one that I can. I'll update you all on the changes when I get things in order.
Lastly I would like to say Hufflepuff rocks and that is all, for official business. xd
Now I hope everyone is doing well. It's warm and windy here at my house and the thunderstorms are rolling. I'm getting ready to plant my garden and transplant some berry bush. I'm also getting ready for my internship and still looking for a job. A new store is going in at the mall near my house, and I've applied there and I am hoping to have some luck, but we'll see.

*POP*Good News!!! I passed my apparation test!!!!!! I agree with you on the Hufflepuff rocks!! Uhhh... my senior prom was Saturday night and I am REALLY tired. I was up for 24 hours on Saturday because i had to wake up 5 in the morning for state solos and ensembles and then I didn't go to bed until 5 on Sunday morning. Welp, that is all the news I have, congrats for helping et us to 2nd place!

I was up for 24 hours on Saturday because i had to wake up 5 in the morning for state solos and ensembles and then I didn't go to bed until 5 on Sunday morning. Welp, that is all the news I have, congrats for helping et us to 2nd place! Go Gerp! Don't abuse the privilege! Wow that is a lot of stuff to schedule in one day. Who ever was in charge of deciding on what day the prom should be, needs to be smacked. You check with ALL the clubs, groups, and activities in the school to make sure they don't interfere with each other. I hope you had fun though. biggrin

Yay, today is my birthday and I'm officially 17. My last year before I'm an adult and can vote. O.O Kind of weird.
Yay for the dueling club. I think I'm the only one who has really done any dueling.. I tend to make another member duel with me haha.
Katie, good luck with the internship and hopefully the job!!
Congrats Gerp! On the apparition test and your prom! It sounds like you had lots of fun considering you were up til 5. wink
(Also, I think I'm at the year to do my apparition test... How do I go about doing that?)
I wish we were first place but second is great for us Hufflepuffs! I know we worked hard on the last challenges. smile
Lets try and get first place this next term!!! biggrin
