Batsu turned and looked at the kid. Far be it from him to judge anyone, but he was a bit concerned that an important mission would be delivered by a young kid. Furthermore, who in the hell is "Andou-san"? Batsu wasn't the most pouplar person on the island, but he knew enough people to get by.. Andou did not register with him at all. The combination of those two aspects made Batsu's guard go up instantly. He still decided to hear the boy out though.
Batsu reached behind his back and pulled his bow from his harness and grabbed an arrow as well. His weapon then made its way in front of him and he prepared it. His left hand held the bow steady while his right hand held the arrow and was drawn back slightly. He was ready to fire at a moment's notice. All the while, he stared the gypsy down. His face was stoic and his voice sounded as if he had no personality at all. "Where to, kid?"

The kid involuntarily took a step back as Batsu readied his arrow. Man, these ninja kids were hard core! (And rude to boot) This guy couldn't be any more than a few years older than him! "Chill, chill!" he said hurriedly, putting his hands up to show that he meant no harm. Arrow-boy seemed to not know Andou, but that notion was so preposterous that he put it immediately out of his mind.
"Andou-san said to meet him at the academy, since he has a class," he recited the details his cousin had given him. Truth be told he had never felt at ease around most shinobi and now he just wanted to go home!

Why in the world would a mission start at the academy? It seemed a bit off considering that most missions were sent via a higher ranked ninja or the Mizukage himself. Oh well, not everything was that obvious apparently. The boy lowered his bow and arrow to the ground, but did not relax fully... yet. If what the male said was true, then who knows what will happen.
Batsu lowered his guard significantly and flashed a slight smile at the kid. "Sorry, just being cautious. I didn't mean to offend... it's just... yeah." An embarrassed chuckle came out of Batsu. He damn near made the guy freak out and it wasn't his intent. That soon stopped and he went back to the business at-hand. "I hate to send you on another run, but could you go to the hospital? There's another member on our team there. She's tall and wears next-to-nothing as far as clothes...can't miss her."

The boy visibly relaxed after Batsu lowered his bow. He started to fidget, as if he wanted to leave the place... which was true. Absentmindedly returning Batsu's smile, the kid placed both hands on his hips for a moment as he listened to Batsu talk.
"Aww..." he said with a slight pout. "Do I have to?" He then remembered his cousin's imposing figure and sighed, talking mostly to himself, "I guess I'll have to..." He nodded at both Batsu and Shinzu and left, but not before reminding them one more time, "Hurry on to the academy. Don't make Andou-san wait!"

Batsu chuckled as the kid ran off to to hospital. The young male then stopped and looked back at Shinzu. "We have our orders, let's go." with that, Batsu placed his bow back in the harness and arrow back in the bag with the others. He then started running to the meeting place, the academy.

Hiru slowly stepped into the open area in the grove where he and Mean-sensei were supposed to meet for sparring. He had switched to his regular chuunin uniform since this was in not covert ops training and there could possibly be students watching the fight.
He took the staff from his back to his hands and twirled it around a bit to warm up as he waited for his opponent.
"Sensei, I'm ready!", he yelled with enthusiasm, hoping his partner wouldn't have forgotten about their little training session.

Mizuiro had been wandering around everywhere, trying to figure out where all the students went, and he was very hungry. He wasn't even sure how he got to the Grove, but he was shocked to see his fellow clansman, who seemed ready to brawl. He decided to watch for a while, see how the p***y fought. He sat down beside a tree, hoping to see the p***y get beaten down.

[It's not really lunch time in the Grove, it's any time we want since this is an out of RP training/sparring area.]
Andou stepped into the grove to meet his former student. Damn. He remembered when Hiru was shorter than him, in fact, kind of like a puppy yapping at his heels. Not this huge behemoth (though still with the wide open grin). When had this situation reversed?! He had missed way too much in his two year absence!
"Hoshigaki," he noted with a genuine smile. "It's been a while. You look like you've improved immensely." Since Hiru had his bo staff out, Andou wasted no time taking his own weapon out. Oh, his baby. It had been a long journey getting it in the mountains of Kirigakure. "We begin anytime, then?" Andou carefully watched Hiru for any signs of movement as he got into the stance.

Hiru had a slight chill as his old sensei pulled out his perfectly maintained shining blade. most likely just grazing its edge would be enough to inflict deep wounds, and that's not taking into consideration his clan's sometimes unorthodox fighting maneuvers who could deal significant damage.
"We'll see how much I've improved sensei, ready when you are!", he answered enthusiastically.

Andou gave Hiru a frankly creepily easygoing grin. "I don't think I can go easy on you," he said before whipping out two shuriken! Off they went, one aimed at either side of Hiru. In the mean time Andou hooked the sword by his side, hoping Hiru would be sufficiently distracted by the shruiken for that moment. Immediately after letting them loose Andou made the required hand seals and spat out chakra charged syrup at the ground beneath Hiru's feet. Surprisingly... the syrup was actually quite sweet.

Hiru barely had time to get in fighting stance before two shuriken started flying right to him from each side. Even worst, as he was trying to figure out a way to dodge the projectiles, Andou charged him head on while spitting sticky syrup right at his feet.
"One thing's for sure, I can't let him pin me down so soon.", he thought. Hiru focused his chakra for a millisecond to cast his defensive jutsu.
Hijutsu: Suika no Jutsu (Secret Technique: Hydration Technique) By liquifying the whole body, this technique makes it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. As this technique turns the body into water, the user is vulnerable to lightning techniques. Given the nature of the technique, the user must have a very strong affinity to water to use it. Rank: C Dice Rolls: Reaction Cp: 50 Special: Can be used as a reaction (During opponen'ts turn). If used as a reaction, replace user's dodge rating by [level + wis mod + chakra control] and user's reflex rating by [Chakra Control + Base Save Bonus]. Gives immunity to physical, earth, wind and water damage. Fire jutsus deal half damage although they cause no status ailments. Ice jutsus deal no damage but cause status ailments. Lightning jutsus inflict normal damage and cancel the jutsu immediately upon impact.
Immediately, his entire body turned to liquid as the two shurikens flew right through him and the syrup went through his legs and straight to the ground behind him.

As the projectiles flew through him, Hiru saw his chance for his first attack. In a flash, he unsheathed his staff and launched two quick attacks at his sensei with rapid thrusts.

As he barely managed to maintain his balance in his second thrust, Hiru used the momentum to launch his signature combat maneuver jutsu and try to get some distance back between his opponent and himself.

The user condenses a thin layer of water under his feet and uses it to propel himself with bursts of speed in any direction and ignore terrain difficulties. Instead of moving his feet, the user moves the water he generates to initiate movement before he even moves a muscle. The technique is usually used on the ground, but can also be used on water for a reduced chrakra cost. Andou was briefly surprised at Hiru's reaction time before he just decided to roll with it. That technique in which he turned himself to water was pesky and was also something that Andou had never mastered. He'd have to look into that, although he wasn't sure he'd be able to rely on it due to his small chakra reserves. He'd picked up his sword sometime during Hiru's attacks so he could move with it and continued to chase Hiru, shrugging off the damage. No, he couldn't go easy indeed. Moving into the stance of the style he'd developed, he attempted two strikes on Hiru before moving back and making hand seals. Perhaps one more person to help would ease things a bit.

Mizuiro was liking this battle a lot, he had never seen these techniques until now. He was actually impressed with the Sissy-Hoshigaki, who seemed to be making the d**k-sensei work hard to keep up. But he wasn't surprised by a Hoshigaki taking the battlefield, even the Sissy had the right blood, and would surely win this.
Mizuiro nodded in approval, but only slightly, just small nods that wouldn't be noticed unless you were actually looking at him.
