That afternoon Blade leaves the academy and head back to his place. Its as empty as always but he doesn't mind. He begins to gather his weights. He starts at 50lbs each arm, so he has phsyical strenght as well as Mental strength. As he worked out he pounders who his team mates will be once he graduates to Genin. his only hopes is he wouldn't be stuck with ones who barely pass the exams. He turns his mind back to training and sets his wieghts to give him a sword training. No sword that he know weighed 50lbs but he still used it to let his moves become faster. After a few more hours of lefting his weight he sets them back and goes to bed about ready for the next day.


The next day he hurrys to class with a piece of toast in his mouth. He woke up late but that just cut out his two hours of training he normally gets. Once in the academy he heads start to class. When iruka sees him he is almost shocked that Blade doesn't have a scroll in his hand, "Uzimaki-kun. I see your ready for the exam. Today you well replace yourself with a log in the back of class to advoid a kunai." Blade nods and hurries to the front of class the toast now only partially eaten. Iruka draws a kunai and smiles, 'No worry class I will not aim for your vital, I will only aim for your arms and legs." Blade waits, and a second after the kunia is thrown his hands move at lightning speed. The Kunai hits? No a poof of white smoke reveales its the log and Blade stands in the back finishing his toast. iruka nods, 'Very good Uzimaki-kun."

As common practice Blade heads home after that day's class. Agian at home he gets out his weights. Tonight he does 75lbs and strats with the sword exercise first. Agin his mind wonders on what team he will be in. Will he have a team like his cousins. The answers would reaveal them selfs later he thought. After a few hours of the sword weight training he sets them back to normal. Where he begins lifting the 75lbs for a few more hours. He realizes that if he studies all the time he will not be able to defend against a physical attack. he doesn't want that. he refuses to be the weak link in the party so he decides to push himself twice as hard as a normal student.


It doesn't seem like a long nap to Blade as he wakes up at his normal time and does his normal exercises before heading out to the academy. Iruka doesn't seem surprised today Blade's nose is in a new scroll, but it isn't about the jutsu they are learning, but Iruka knew Blade likes to be prepared, 'Ok class today your exam will cover using Art of subsitiion on a small animal. Some where is a small mouse in this room and your job is to replace yourself with this creature. Uzimaki-kun, your first I want you to switch places with this mouse." Blade puts down his scroll and sits on Iruka's desk. After a minute of scanning the room Blade makes his lightning fast hand motions. By the time the smoke clears there is a very confused mouse on Iruka's desk and Blade is crawling out of a middle row desk, "Is that good?" Iruka nods and dismisses Blade, who gathers his things and leaves the room.

Blade is giving a day to rest from his training and classes. He would have exausted himslf if it wasn't for Iruka catching him on the last exam. He want all his students to be readie for his next exams. The one Blade choose is tree climbing. Once he masters this he wouls pass and become a Genin finally. When he wakes the day after his rest he gathers his gear and remember iruka telling him to meet in a training forest. As blade runs throught the village he is reading a scroll the same as the other day. it seems he has already been training in tree climbing. He wonders how he is going to do the tree climbing.


Blade arrives in the forest on time. With Iruka is 3 moe students how choose treee climbing as there final. Blade guesses he wasn't the only one to go out the easy way. No matter the situation he was determinded to pass this exam and become Genin. Iruka clears his troat, "This is simp;y, the first to hhhmm.." Iruka throws four kunai in different trees all about the same level, "Your are to climb to that branch...the First one to do so passes." Iruka leans against a fifth tree, 'Well Go on get to it." At that Blade and the rest scrabble to the trees before Iruka chimes in, "No hands, only use your feet and chakra."


Blade nods and focuses his chakra on his feet and begins to head up the tree but on this first attempt the tree bark breaks and he falls flat on his back, 'Too Much Chakra." He adjust the chakra level and gives it a running start this time he falls off , crashing to the ground, 'Too Little Chakra." Blade stands and tries to find a easy midium as he continues to run up the tree. Little by little inching up the tree. Iruka seems some what impressed at Blade's steady progress. Blade himself is impreesed as he inches soon turned to feet while he climbed the tree with just his feet. The other students are getting a hang of it but not nearly as fast as Blade.


Night seems to come quickly for this group and Iruka orders them to head home. the trees are lined with Kunai marks where they trained. As Blade is leaving Iruka tells him to work on his focus. Blade nods and runs home where he works on his focus by drawing a leaf on the bottom of his feet as well as his forehead. His first task is to consentrate on the leaf on his head. He focus on the leaf as he builds his chakra. He continues to focus and build up his chakra. Slowly he feels his own chakra reserves growing larger but he still needs to focus to get this down. He closes his eyes and pictures and leaf on his head and focus his chakra on that point for a few minutes more.


Blade shakes his head and smirks, "This should be easy enough actually lets get this done with." He now focuses on the leaves on his fee. he closes his eyes and pictures those leaves in his mind as he begins to build his chakra in those points. again his chakra reserves go a bit more as he builds more chakra. He doesn't let his mind wander off those two leaves so his own feet glow softly under him. He doesn't panic but walks up the wall while focusing on the leaves and using what he learned in his training. He yawns and falls off the cieling but lucky for him his bed was under him. The fall was cuased as his mind tells him he needs rest from the intense training.

Blade is at home sitting on his bed. Yesterday he finished tree climbing today he begins work on water walking, but first he is downing his meditations. He clears his mind and relaxes his body, this allows his chakra to move freely in his body. he keeps his mind clear as he sits peacefully on his bed. to him this is only of the mind. If his mind clear he could feel the chakra moving with in him. He continues his medatation Jutsu till about dawn when he leave. Today he heads for the hotsprings, Iruka was going going to teach water walking, and what better place than the hotsprings.


Blade happens to be at the hotspring first so he rest on the dry wall reading his scroll on this subject. Blade is still nose need in the scroll as Iruka walks in with the rest of the class. It seems the hotspring shut down just to let the students train. Iruka clears his throat, "Ok class. Today we will be doing the water walking training. After I feel you are ready then we will have the exam. This is your last class at the academy." The class cheers save for Blade who is now putting away his scroll, "Lets get started, Iruka-sensei." The class laughes a bit but is cut off by Iruka, "Uzimaki-kun, I'd watch that mouth of yours. Ok Class, today is water walking and unlike the tree climbing exercise this is harder. The water is contently shifting, if you use to much you displace the water and sink, too little your fall right in. This exercise will teach you shift your chakra to stay on the water. It helps if you have takes the chakra molding train that was offered after class a month again."

Its morning at the Uzimaki place and Blade is again the first one up. He is staying with his cousin as his parents are on a joint operation. So for his daily exercise Blade does his meditations While Blade is meditating Naruto fixes breakfast, thats right Ramen! This doesn't borther Blade though as he stay calm and relaxed. His mind cleared while his chakra flows through him. Naruto walks in and smirks, "Breakfast, hurry up and get some!' Blade leapd off the bed and hurries into the kitchen where a steaming bowl of Ramen await him and Naruto. They both chow down and leave heading in seprate ways.


Blade is again heading to the hotsprings though his exam isn't intill three more days. He decides to skip class again to train on his water walking. Once in the hotsprings, he removes his gear. Now only in a shirt and pants Blade begins to read on his scrool before using some of his chakra to walk onto the water, again he is there for around 10 seconds and falls through the water again. he climbs out and dries off, before going back to the scroll and reading it more carefully. He nods and thinks abit as he jots down a few notes in his head, "I get it...this isn't too hard."


He stays in the hotspring working on his chakra molding now, his morning meditation had him feelling nicely powered, so he had plenenty to use here. As he continues his exercises the hotsprings opens and people come in to relax in the warming waters. This influx of people bothers Blade so he gathers his things and heads outs running to his cuosin's place to do a bit more training. Once at Naruto's place he begins to make up supper, while reading like always his scrolls. It seems weird to him that Naruto knew any Jutsu since he never saw a scroll in his hand. After Supper Blade cleans up and heads off to bed for the night.

The next day sneaks up on Blade as he slides out of bed. He decided the day before he was going to go to class. With this in his head he yawns, gets dressed. and fixes breakfast. He keeps the wieghts on his feet as he does his house hold chores. His parents are even spose to be home tomorrow so this is the last night he would be at his cousin's place. He decided now that he would run to the academy and work on his chakra after class. After breakfast he heads out and runs to class with his 50lb weights on his ankles. Once he gets to the academy he heads to class and sits down. He is the first there but Iruka joins him shortly.


Iruka looks at Blade and laughes, "Look whoshowed up. Uzimaki Blade. Lets see Today is a study day and you show up. Just like your cousin, show up at the last minute. Tomorrow is the exam can you handle that? Hmm?" Iruka seems displeased but his mood seems to lighten as others show up. Once the class is in Iruka begins to go over the finer points of water walking as well as proper chakra levels . He covers how with water the levels have a tendensy to flux. By the end of class it appeared Iruka forgot the whole thing, "Tomorrow is the Exam. If you do not make it you will have to repeat the academy for another year. Go study now. Class Dismissed."


After class Blade runs out and heads to the back where he begins to work on his chakra molding. Knowing his parents would be home tomorrow he wanted to show them he became a Genin. He was pleased with himself and wanted his parents to smile at him as well. So he practices really hard to mold hie chakra. Blade stays out there past sun down whre he continues his training. After two more hours Blade continues to mold his chakra. He trains for a hour later before he walkback to Naruto's place. He is almost restlesss as his last night being a cadet.

Nazuki blinked the sweat from her eyes and and waited for her sensei to come over. She didn't really want to become a kunoichi, but since she was obligated to her "saviours" and it was the wish of the mizkage, she didn't really have a choice. There were much worse occupations, like getting enrolled as a drug mule in her previous 3 years. A fat guy with a bowl of ramen came by and introduced himself as Shuji-sensei, the teacher of Mitsuko-sama.

Nazuki nodded and tried to show some interest...
