I use the gargoyle models. Although, my guy isn't a huge Daemon prince...

Really, he doesn't need to be, unless you're cashing in on Daemonic Stature, of course.

GW has a distinct lack of good-looking wings. Belkalor's are one of the few, sadly. There's another conversion in the catalog where one of the staffers uses Warmaster-sized Wyvern wings on a Vampire Counts giant bat and they look really good.

If I could get a hold of those cheap, I'd deck out my Word Bearer Raptor-Seraphim with 'em. As it is, I think I'm resorting to Fury wings.

Try the harpy wings from FB, I've used them for a squad of possessed and they look fantastic.

Are Tzeench any good?

I haven't heard much about them, and really like the concept of lumbering empty armors.

I'm kind of concerned about the slow and purposeful rule, as it means that I could get my flanks owned up like crazy, and be extremely bad for games where I need to take objectives.

also one thing that I have been having problems with... when it says roll a dice and select a power, does that mean that I get stuck with that one power all through out the match or do I roll each time to see what I get?

This was also a source of confusion upon reading the IG codex, and people at the store are like uhh... I... am... not sure

Gah,Im late to this party.
My friend plays a Thousand Sons army, and I gotta say...they are pretty bitchen. Rubric marines are tough little buggers, and since he has a Rhino and Land Raider 2 of his squads get in the fray fairly early (The other 2 squads have to bumble into battle, but they still rock. The sorcery stuff they get is ridiculous in my opinion though. Auto passing Psychic tests like they do...and not to mention I think that gift of Chaos is BROKEN AS HELL!
He managed to turn my Hive Tyrant into a Chaos spawn! (Wasnt easy...he DID have to roll a 6 to do it. And Unfortunately I failed my Invulnerable save).
Im trying to get Noise Marines right now and build an Emperor's Children Army. Nothing cooler than a Coked-Up Space Marine that battles you with sonic weaponry. That and Fulgrim is my 2nd favorite primarch (Next to Sanguinius)
But Thousand Sons cost a lot. My friend kept bitching about how EVERY mark he used costs 10 pts. His army was pretty small. Just 3 squads of RUbric Marines (Lead by sorcerers)a Squad of Terminators (lead my chaos sorcerer lord), Land Raider, Rhino, and Defiler.
But it made a fun fight against my 2000 pt Tyranid Army...for a while :p

I suppose so. That's like Plague Marine or Bezerker Marine or Noise Marine, just a Rubric Marine.

Tzeentch and his powers dont really impress me that much, I would prefer to slaughter everyone with khorne, or do it with all that emotion from slaanesh.

Yeah, it's all well and good being suicidal, but there's quite a lot to Tzeentch. People just don't like them because they're slow and expensive, but imagine 2 doombolts without rolling for psychic tests.
That's quite the power.

Yeah, if you feel like forking out for them.

Flamers of Tzeentch come with Doombolt as Standard as well. It all depends what you can be bothered to field/apint/spend.

Well it is tzeentch's strong point, why not make it the core of your army?

Because not all of our parents buy us stuff, so to have a 100pt army for Tzeentch costs in the hundreds of pounds.
