This isn't news to me, I was lucky to get it 100% confirmed when I bought my realms of battle table. xD
But it's a nice stompa, looks alot better than many home-made ones I've seen, only thing I think I'll do with it is making the choppy weapons bigga'.

For all it's failings, I'm actually pretty happy with the recent turn in GW, at least Ork-wise. We orks are getting pretty spoiled with great stuff (though I'm still peeved we have 2nd ed models as our "standard". Dern buggies/wartraks). The stompa was wholly uneed, but it is an awesome move on GW's part, IMO. I imagine most *ork* players will pick at least one up, if for nothing else than as a great base for their own konversions.

But a real ork doesn't bother using old models like the traks and buggies, we orks know how to build our own stuff from scrap~ There's ALOT of awesome trak/buggie conversions too in the latest White Dwarf, or you can do it simple by switching the old drivers and gunners for new ones. Otherwise a Trak for example is a simple build by using the old trak, cutting off the "bike" part of it replacing it with the same piece from the biker box, and switching the gunner into a normal weaponless ork and swapping the weapon to the biker dakka guns perhaps.
I can show a simple driver/gunner-swap later.
Then also who wants a normal fighta? They're not as awesome and don't remind one of da Deff Skwadron~ (they're my heroes, planning on buying 3 fighta boomaz).
But yer right, GW is really spoiling us greenskins, and we need this attention too regarding of our last poor codex and poor range of miniatures.

The FW Fighta-Bommer is just an upgrade of the FW Fighta kit, with wing extensions, bigger nose, a larger tail section and a ball turret added behind the cockpit. A plastic kit could easily have both variants.

Jason Da Psycho No Mek Stompa? No Lifta-Droppa...? *Sob sob sob.* What says it doesn't come with mek stompa stuff? Anyways it's REALLY easy to convert from the stuff I see in the pictures.

The one I got in my email had a huge claw, so that could be a lifta droppa arm, for example. In any case, as you said, it probably wouldn't be terribly hard to konvert it to proppa status.

The Stompa kit will be plastic, so GW could release conversion frames from direct only as with the Battlewagon or hobbyists will have to convert the variants their selves. Judging from the two kit variants shown on-line it shouldn't be too hard to convert a Mek Stompa from that kit.
There are more variants on the horizon, GW hinted at the "streamlined Go-Fasta Stompa of the Evil Sunz" and they've already released rules for the Goff variant.

Just wanted to know about something from you ork players.
I was thinking about testing out some ork army list and wanted to try a shooty one. Just wanted to know how well they work from those who tried it.
Besides that, I was wondering what you guys did to make Flash Gitz, if you use them, and maybe point me in the direction of some good piccies of them, be them yours or others.
Just curious. 3nodding
